Ask for Katsu: he is just incredible. He is the ultimate perfectionist, he will make sure you look your best when he is done. Last but not least, don’t forget to get the Katsu’s special chop chop shoulder massage. It feels so goooooooood!

Best Salon NYC… Jackie is fantastic… she did a fantastic job on my hair.. more than what I asked for, she asked if I had any treatments and or concerns with my hair, and I mentioned I had a bit of dryness in the scalp. She suggested this magical hair/scalp mask and I swear it is the best thing I’ve used. Literally left my scalp and hair feeling brand new. Can’t wait to return.

Best place to get a haircut in NYC for men and women. My wife and I have gone here for 4 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the whole place is a vibe. They are always prompt, never keep you waiting, and knowledgeable on all things haircare. Plus it’s always nice to spend some time with Chloe, their little Pomeranian.

Gorgeous salon and lovely people. Jackie did my shampoo and blow dry, which held up beautifully through the weekend. She chose the perfect products for my scalp and hair and gave lots of styling tips. Also, lots of love to Chloe, who sat with me during my visit!

I have been working with Katsu for several years now and have never had a better hair cut. I don’t say this lightly as to see Katsu, I must drive from Maryland to NYC. That is how amazing he is. Imagine a bonsai artist/expert who examines the shape of your face, the texture and style of your hair, and has a conversation with you about what you like and don’t like, before making a single cut. Top all of this with his authentic acceptance of all humans and you’ve got Katsu. Make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

I have worked with Katsu for over twenty years!, that length of time indicates the trust and admiration I have for his creativity and professionalism. He really knows hair! he is an expert. I have had many different hairstyles over the years, it is not uncommon for strangers to ask me on the streets of Manhattan: "Who is your hairstylist?" For many years Katsu has done my highlights and they are always beautiful and again strangers ask.. Along with being an exceptional hairstylist he is also an exceptional human being; kind, compassionate and very funny. I have joked with him that if he ever moves to Japan, I would go there to get my hair done.

I've never had such a bad experience with a hair salon. Do NOT book anything with them I regret getting my haircut from this place I asked for a light color in my brown hair. I showed a picture of what I wanted. This person bleached my hair to make it a dark gray. Something I didn't asked for. Apart from that a was charged a lot of money.

Katsu Yokoi has cut and colored my hair for over 25 years! He is simply the best - I won’t allow anyone else to touch my hair! I’ve followed him everywhere to Salon Bezjon, which is centrally located, clean and everyone is incredibly friendly! I would highly recommend Katsu and Salon Bezjon to anyone!

Katsu has been cutting my hair for almost two decades. He is exceptionally talented and truly cares about his clients. I don't love going to the hairdresser but with Katsu it is a wonderful experience I always look forward to. My hair always looks amazing after a cut and style with Katsu and he gives me excellent advice about how to keep my hair healthy. Also, Salon Bezjon offers a wonderful and welcoming environment for its clients and staff. I recommend this Salon 100%!

Katsu has been my hairstylist for more years than I care to remember! I have followed him from his first location on West 86th Street when I followed a client leaving the salon to ask who cut her hair and made my first appointment. I recently realized the extent of Katsu’s skill when I observed him teach an apprenticed student how to cut my hair. What most amazed me was his demonstration of how he followed the growth patterns of the hair as he determined how to shape and cut. From brown to blonde to silver, with lovely highlights aglow, Katsu alone has been my inspirational guru on my quest for beautiful hair!

Katsu is an amazingly talented hairstylist. He has been cutting my hair for over 30 years, through different hairstyles and different periods in my life. We have a long and friendly history. Katsu is an excellent listener, and each haircut is preceded by a discussion about what I would like to have done. He's both creative and meticulous, an excellent combination. Through the years, I've occasionally tried another hairstylist due to timing or circumstances, and the haircuts have been adequate at best. But they all lack the style and grace that Katsu achieves in his haircuts. I now live upstate but I regularly come to NYC to see Katsu. It's always a pleasure and I know that I can relax because I'm in the best of hands. Also, I also want to give very high marks to Salon Bezon. It's an intimate, smallish salon. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It's very clean and organized. The location on 6th Avenue between 58th and 59th Street is ideal. Margaret
