I highly recommend this beautiful salon! The talent, atmosphere, service, and products are top notch. Pricing is great for a high-end experience; Salon is comfortable, staff is caring and meticulous...this is home for me. Booking is easy and they even have some services on Mondays which is super convenient for that weekly blowout to get you through the work week. From cut to color ... even corrective color to beautiful blowouts you will love it. Everyone there is conscious of keeping hair healthy and gorgeous (and long if that's your wish) especially working with long curly hair that can be a lot of work like mine. I've been going here regularly (weekly) for almost a year now and I've experienced great salons along the way but this by far is working out the best for my hair not to mention a great atmosphere and amazing owner/staff 👍🏻 1/14/24 ... I want to update with photos...a before photo of the texture of my hair air dried with old highlights so you can see that my hair is a blessing thank God but also a challenging texture to style and also that you can see the amazing rich color/health I have obtained at this salon without losing any length ... color by Chelsea, cut by Christine and blowouts by Ariana 💖

I have been going to this salon for years and would never entertain going anywhere else! I started out getting just blowouts but that quickly turned into haircuts, full highlights, and glazes. I feel like I have been to every salon on Long Island trying to find the perfect fit and so glad I found Salon Bontique. I have told every family member and friend about this salon. Christine and all of her staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The vibe there is so chill and welcoming, there is no pretense at all. Hands down THE best salon!!

I think is thebest Salon ever maybe feeling ugly when you walk in but will be feeling beautiful when you walk out. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable they are also kind and make you feel like you are their most important client. The decor is gorgeous and you feel right at home 🏡 home there!!

The owner of this salon is very good at her craft, however, there is A LOT of turnover and inexperienced stylists. I went in for my third visit for a root touch up and walked out with darker roots then I started with, after I was told my root process was written down and saved, but this was not the case.I was not made aware the information was lost. The owner recognized the mistake but did not right away clearly explain that the root would be fixed free of cost. Only when I cancelled the appointment, thinking I didn’t trust them to fix it, did the owner mention it would be free of charge. I will have to have it fixed now at another salon. Time and cost.

Christine has been cutting my hair for over 13 years! She is sweet, talented and amazing. I have curly hair and at times have tried curly cuts at all the fancy places but the best cuts have always been from Christine! The salon is a welcoming, friendly environment despite its trendy vibe. Deirdre started coloring my hair last year and I love the change! My kids have gotten great cuts here before too. Try it out, you won’t regret it!

Great salon! My first time there and I learned more about how to care for my curly hair in one visit than all the years I've been visiting other salons. Christine gave me an amazing curly cut and just flat out knows hair. This is a must visit salon, you won't regret it!

I never write reviews, I’m going for it! This place deserves some praise! I brought my wife in for a cut after a friend referred the salon. What a pleasant atmosphere to be in as a husband. The ladies immediately welcomed us as if we had been friends for years. Greeted us with enthusiasm, Christine the owner listened to my wife’s hair desires and offered us refreshments. I stayed and chatted it up. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy hair salon like my wife used to go to. My wife absolutely loved her hair and I thought she never looked better! I now go to Rizzo the Barber. He is amazing! What an amazing crew! Very professional with a “Cheers” kind of vibe! I don’t mind taking my wife to her appointment anymore! Not only is the atmosphere and staff in general fantastic, Christine is absolutely amazing. She gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. The whole experience was great and I left so happy. I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at this salon. The lady at the front desk who washed my hair was very rude and inconsiderate. She seemed a little off? Did not seem like she was mentally present and treated me like a burden meanwhile nobody else was there, you would think my service would be wanted. I continued to keep being respectful as I thought If I said something my hair would be sabotaged. I’m not sure of her name, Possibly Tessa or something with a T. I am really saddened that the she is one who greets customers, I was looking for a long term salon that I can continue going to and they aren’t busy so I thought it would work out well. Unfortunately I was wrong and did NOT have a good experience unlike some of the others who have shared their experiences. Customer service should be top priority to assure customer satisfaction. Choosing someone who can represent the business professionally in and out of work is very important. I really wanted things to work out! That treatment is unacceptable in my opinion.

Came in for a men’s cut and sat with Rizzo, their in-house barber. Everyone was super friendly and chatted me up, and Rizzo gave me a great cut. Fun, clean and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back !

I’ve only been there 2 visits so far but I know for sure I’ll be a client for a long , long time! The place has such a great vibe , something that you’d expect in the east village ! Alyssa is an awesome colorist and Christine is the best stylist I’ve had since I’m in my 20’s!! The salon and the girls are so warm And super down to earth!
