I had to edit my review! After bringing several clients to Ms. Sara she steadily increased her price for me every visit saying she had to get her money while she could since most black women wear braids and other things out of her specialty during the summer so her coins were going to be coming in slower. She started double and triple booking customers so my simple blowout started taking 6 hours or more. Definitely back at the Dominicans now.

Anyone looking for a peace of mind when comes to having a more than GREAT EXPERIENCE, especially those with locs, Ms. Ella is more than SATISFACTORY. So my first appointment with her was Feb 8, 2022 at 1pm. I was a little nervous, but I loved the essence she gave off when my daughter and I went for a consultation. Yes, I was watching just to see the flow of how everyone operated. She was soooo punctual with her clients. So I'm like okay, I won't be sitting in the salon for hours on end. First honest piece of truth she provided was that I could wash my locs. My previous loctician told me I couldn't wash my locs and not retwist them. Okay, the reason I got locs was because of arthritis and carpal tunnel in my wrist; so me retwisting was out of the question and I was paying $100 every 2 weeks for a wash and retwists. I enjoy having money. Long; made short, my experience was Phenomenal to me. Again, punctual from wash-to-style. I was so surprised that she had retwisted my locs so quickly WITHOUT PAIN. No devastating clips puncturing my scalp. No ear burns from a too hot dryer. And there are ottoman's for you to rest your feet on while you dry. So I'm thinking, NO way!!! Yes way, she styled my hair also. Okay now the pain. NOPE. No tight scalp pulling headache for days styling. WHAT? Yes. Ya'll this is not a fake or prompted review. I am truly happy. My child didn't have to help me loosen anything when I got home. I could sleep on whatever side I wanted. Final piece of honest advise. Mix my hair products 80/10/10. My hair was heavy coming to her. Ms. Ella confirmed how I felt. I didn't like that heaviness. But I was following instructions of oiling daily from my previous stylists. Not saying she was a bad stylists, just wasn't for me. Sorry the post is so long, but I wanted those starting off like me to know that there's life for locs without pain and confusing. Go to Ms. Ella. In fact, all of the ladies were doing great jobs. My daughter got her hair done on the 9th. But's that another great review.

I am new to the area and as most ladies know finding a new hair stylist is a major undertaking. I believe I have found my new hairstylist ( Chairmaine) because my hair looked amazing; body and volume on point!!👌🏽She was also extremely warm and friendly. Chile Imma get whiplash shaking my hair!

I was recommended here and very glad that I came. Walk ins are accepted and appointments which are helpful. Everyone is friendly and joked which makes the atmosphere comfortable. Positives vibes and all hairstyles looked good. I was happy with the service.

Visit here frequently. I go to Courtney to get my hair braided and Kayla for a silk press. Everyone in the shop is talented, very friendly and charge fairly. I highly recommend!

I am a customer with Locs, that get my hair maintained by Ms. Ella. She washes; conditions and styles my hair. She also puts it in beautiful hairstyles. On Sat. 2/13/2021. I received the above services. This time I was different . I had fallen and broken my toe and injured my hip severely. Ms. Ella showed great patience, professionalism, and compassion in regards to me dealing with my current situation. She assisted me with getting in and out of the chair, and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible; while receiving services. She even assisted with an ottoman so I could stretch my injured foot out. Her professionalism was at the 150 percent rate. Her empathy towards me; made me know she genuinely cares and takes care of her customers individual needs also. This is a. Valentines Day I will never forget. Not to mention the (20) or more individuals that commented on my hair. Ms. Ella makes me feel special every time she provides service to me. She made me feel truly like a QUEEN. After all she is truly a QUEEN herself!!!!

My beautician is Kaela. She is amazing! She has been doing mine and my families hair for over 5 years. I just don't like that we live so far away from the shop now, but going to her is so worth the drive. If she gives you an appointment time she starts doing your hair right away. She will make sure you are right. She will also let you know if your hair needs a treatment or not. She keeps up with all the latest hair styles as well.

Charmaian have did my hair My hair was really damaged so she had to cut my hair really short. She cut it short and treated my hair and permed it. Now my hair grew back out and i loved. She style it really nice when she cut it.Well i recommend anybody who want to get there hairstyle. My girl Charmain is the hook up. I love her and she just as sweety. Charmaine is great with growing your hair and prices are extremely reasonable. Ella knows how to slay your braids, and Kayla and courtney are both great with kids hair (Also reasonably priced)!

My stylist, Charmaine, asked what I wanted. I said dark brown with blond highlights. She then asked if I had red in my hair, I said yes. She then lifted parts of my hair, which became pink. After this she started to cut and I asked if my ends were bad. She said yes, but she more than 3 inches of hair. When all was said and done, my hair looked like a Madea wig. This was the disheartening situation for me because it was the first time I made a decision to go alone and have my hair professionally done. I got nothing I asked for. The other stylist seemed to be very professional. I won't return there.
