I had an amazing experience with Jim at Salon Central OTR! From start to finish, he was friendly, professional, and really listened to what I wanted (and didn’t want) for my cut. He made sure to take the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and the result was perfect! I left feeling confident and refreshed, and I can’t wait to return. The salon itself has such a great vibe—welcoming, stylish, and relaxing. Highly recommend Jim if you’re looking for a talented stylist who really cares about giving you the best cut possible!

I have been going to Jim for years. He is a master at color. My warm golden brown looks shiny, healthy with lots of volume. Have very fine hair and you would never know it the way he cuts styles and colors.

I started seeing Kelly for my color and cut when it was convenient during my lunch hour or after work. But I’ve since moved out of the state and make it a point to come back to Cincy to see Kelly for my hair. I’ve been to a lot of expensive salons, and Kelly is the best colorist I’ve ever had. You can expect amazing personal service and a fabulous blowout, too.

I have been coming to Salon Central OTR for about 2 years…. I live in DC. Vincent has my loyalty. The first time, I was visiting Cinci and needed a quick cut. Vincent helped me out and I loved the results. He has talent and works with my CURLY hair and he’s just a great person to chat with 100% recommend.

Today was my first visit to Salon Central OTR but it certainly won’t be my last. My stylist, Kelly Marcum, was kind, patient, reliable, and EXTREMELY skilled. She was able to take my uncertainty with what I wanted and deliver perfection. The salon is clean, friendly staff, and has such a great vibe. I absolutely loved my experience and would recommend this salon, and stylist Kelly, to anyone and everyone!

Let me tell you how much I love this place. I used to dread going to the salon to get my hair done. I would request to leave with wet hair, foils in my hair , etc. just because there was never a moment to relax I wanted to get my service and get the hell out. Since Kelly has been doing my hair, I now go to the salon and love being there. Jim, Kelly, Billy, and Vincent, you all know how to make a salon feel like home. The Aveda products are top of the line and everyone of the cosmetologists know what they are doing. Their services are top notch and every single person (male and female) walk out each time looking fabulous. Salon Central will forever be my salon.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have gotten my hair done by Kelly 3 times and it has consistently been the best haircut and color I’ve ever had (I even drive 2 hours to come here). Jim and his team are incredibly friendly and personable. I’ve recommended this place to all of my friends in family in the area.

I have been getting my hair cut by Jim Brofft for years, and have never had a bad cut. He knows what he's doing. He’s interested in what I think I want, and is comfortable suggesting something else, which I always prefer, because I trust his taste; he knows what’s going to make me look the best. Although most salons make their names on color, mostly for women, mens hair is different, and Jim has a intuitive feel for cutting men’s hair which many salons do not. I don’t feel “fussed over”. He focuses on getting it right.

Lauren sucks. 0% effort on my wedding hair, and it took a whole 5 minutes of her time. She had no intention of being or doing better.

Vince is my go-to for the perfect cut and color. He is so attentive to detail and will make absolutely certain you’re thrilled with the final product. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing staff. The top tier haircuts by Jim are worth every penny - I always feel great when I step out of Salon Central & get loads of compliments. My teen daughters also go to various stylists here & love the service & looks they get.

My adult daughter and I had our first cut here and it was more than amazing. We both felt so comfortable and we love our new styles. The stylists were so friendly, it felt like we knew them forever.

isn't what you expect it, I won't do make up there again, I showed the picture of the make up the lady doesn't put the colors that you want, and the make up doesn't look like what you show or you want, isn't worth it pay so much money for that work

The staff and owner were very friendly and nice. I came to the salon for a wedding and wanted to get a blowout. From out of town, the appointment took 90 minutes and my stylist did not know how to put curls in my hair. The owner had to come over and put curls into my hair. At the end, my hair looked nice; however, the long period of time for a simple blowout did not feel justified.
