I’ve been going to this salon for a few months not having any idea what to do with my curly hair and all the girls there have been patient and amazing! I don’t think I will go anywhere else!

Had a great experience at salon color bar!! Hannah did a fantastic job with my highlights , cut and blow dry!! Will definitely book again ! The atmosphere at the salon is classy , clean and welcoming! Would highly recommend anyone looking for highly skilled service to book with salon color bar!

I had a great experience at the salon. I had the lovely opportunity to have Hannah as my hairstylist. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and the results were remarkable. I will definitely be back to book an appointment with Hannah. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her!

I went here to get blond highlights a couple of weeks ago by Hannah in the Tampa location. I let her know I wanted my hair to look natural and that I wanted it to grow out in a way that would be lower maintenance. At first it seemed like she was experienced and knew what she was doing. She suggested a full foil and a root tap for easier grow out. I went with it since I was told it would help my hair look more natural as it grows out with the highlights. She also said that I wouldn’t have to get my hair touched up as often with the root tap and that maybe I would have to get a toner in 3-4 months. To my complete dismay $360 later, my hair had red in it because of the root tap. I have had my hair lighted before and I have never had any sort of discoloration. She tried to fix it there but less than a week later the red was back. I went back in on two other occasions for them to try to fix my hair. I told Hannah and another stylist to just put blonde in it and they all talked me out of it (they didn’t want to pay for it). The last time I went to get it fixed, I was told I would have to get a glaze in my hair to make it darker and I would have to get it done every 9 weeks to keep the red out of my hair. I was also told that it could be medication I’m taking or my shampoo causing the red. I’m not on any medication, I live an all-natural lifestyle. And the shampoo I’m using does not have harsh chemicals. Less than two weeks after that treatment the red is back and my hair is darker than I want it to be. I really wanted to like Hannah, the manager and people at the Tampa and St Pete location (I had girls at both locations look at my hair), but I’m highly disappointed and I won’t be going back. Please don’t waste your money here. Go somewhere that they are not over priced and where they actually know what they are doing. Also, beware their policy is if one of their stylists mess up and you don’t get it fixed within the week you have to pay 50% of the bill. Thankfully, I didn’t have to and I’m going to get my hair fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. I just wanted to warn anyone who is considering getting anything more than a cut and style here.

i had such a wonderful experience here with Hannah. she did such a great job on making my hair look exactly how i wanted! she definitely knows what she’s doing and makes sure you’re very well informed of what she’s going to do to make sure your hair comes out looking its best, thank you hannah!!✨

I walked into this hair salon extremely nervous because the last time I asked for a balayage at a salon it turned out completely horrible. I didn’t let a hair stylist touch my hair for 6 years after that. Today I booked an appointment for a balayage praying for good results. Megan did suuuuch an amazing job! I showed her my before photo and explained my fear. She completely understood what I wanted and it turned out better than I even hoped!! Extremely friendly staff and beautiful area!

Kinleigh is great with color, cuts and blowouts. I’ve been to her twice now and I was so happy with my results. She really puts in the work and makes it worth the money.

I had a wash, dry, blowout and style done by Kayla in Tampa for a special occasion and loved it. She did half up, half down with waves and face-framing pieces, and it came out just as I hoped. The salon is beautiful and clean, the products they used smelled amazing, and Kayla was so friendly and sweet and professional. I’ll be back!

Highly recommend Salon Color Bar. Fantastic customer service, very cute and clean salon. Kinleigh was great! She took the time to really hear what I wanted, asked questions and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. All the stylists were engaged, are super friendly and fun to talk to. Overall a really great experience! I really felt that they really want you to be happy with your hair and experience in the salon. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

I don’t normally leave reviews, however I just wanted recommend Maddie to all my fellow blondes! Every product she used on me she explained what it did for my hair/why I should use it. I truly feel like she did what was best for my hair every step of the way. Usually a few weeks after leaving the salon my toner is washed away and my hair doesn’t feel the way it does when I leave the salon. However, with her recommendations my toner is holding up and my hair feels fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!

I recently went to Maddie and was very pleased with my experience from the second I walked through the door. She didn’t rush my service like some of my stylist have in the past. I was impressed how thorough she was with every step of the way from foils, to my gloss, and my blowout/style. I definitely will be back to see her!

I was so excited for my appointment here, great reviews, amazing pictures on instagram. Unfortunately they damaged my hair :/ I showed her pictures of what I wanted (several times!!), a nice touch of pink color, balayage (something I did a few years ago and I loved it). My hair was very healthy (I hadn't dyed it in over 3 years). She suggested some things and my mistake was to trust her! 4 days later my hair is extremely damaged :( it is dry and the color doesn't look good at all. The way she bleached my hair was not correct and the products she used are not good. (she told me she was using 'great products to protect my hair' and charged me extra $60, and of course I agreed because I wanted my hair to look healthy). When she finished she put a lot of extra products and style it in a way it was looking good and shiny at the moment. Very disappointment! my hair looks awful and damaged. -$375 and now I am looking for the way to repair my damaged hair :(

I was visiting the area. A friend recommended Salon Color Bar because I was complaining about my hair and never satisficed with the other salons. Although I hesitated, I ended up getting the hair botox treatment. Madison B did an amazing job on my hair and have to say I am extremely pleased with the results and cut! Such a wonderful personality and displayed a genuine concerned about my issues. The customer service was great! I will be seeing Madison again on my next visit! Thank you for restoring my faith in salons!

Salon Color Bar is such a chill place! Gabbie is my hairstylist and I love the results every time. She listens and knows my hair well. I trust her knowing it'll be just what I like every time. The salon is in a really pretty area right off the Gandy bridge, too. It's great to see her and her friends and have a great conversation. I feel so refreshed and confident after every cut with Gabbie. She does men's cuts (and everyone's!!) very well.

This is one of the best Salons I have been to. It’s in an adorable area and the staff are professional, courteous and fun. Ask for Maddie B, she not has my hair growing, feeling and looking as healthy as ever, but the color and highlights are spot on!

I went in for partial highlights and a cut from Gabbie and she did an amazing job! This was done back in June and the color has still held up nicely all the way into September. This was my first experience having any type of color on my hair and she did a fantastic job of getting it to the exact color I wanted the highlights to be and my hair still feels the same as it did before I had highlights. Gabbie was super friendly, easy to work with, and delivered exactly the results I was wanting!

Maddie is literally the best!! She's the only hair stylist I've been to that has been able to get me to the color blonde I want without killing my hair. HIGHLY recommend going to her if you're blonde or trying to go blonde!!!!!!
