I spent forever researching places to go when something happened to my normal stylist and I needed a gloss and trim for the new year and I found this place with good reviews so I scheduled an appointment. I showed up and they had me wait 30 min just to call the stylist who drove down to tell me he had to cancel. The receptionist couldn’t have told me while I waited forever? Then said he would offer my gloss free to reschedule so I said that was fine. The gloss was the majority of the cost so I planned tipping for equal price of treatment as a thank you but when I came in the next day he didn’t honor it and removed the 10$ bang trim instead. I was surrounded by stylists talking and laughing and I got a stylist who wouldn’t talk and made me feel uncomfortable if I said anything to him. It was one of my worst experiences at a salon ever. The gloss wasn’t the color I wanted and it was a little rushed so when I got home I saw the roots weren’t well done.

Bret Thomas has been my hair stylist for many years now. He always does a marvelous job, and I very much enjoy our conversations while he's working on my hair. The salon overall is top drawer!

I finally had the pleasure of checking out Salon D'Shayn last week and I was absolutely impressed. My original stylist had an emergency and I was thankful that the owner personally contacted me immediately and arranged to still get me in the same day around the same time. I met with Bao and he was wonderful! I loved the end result of my new cut and Bao was a delight to chat with throughout the appointment. I will definitely be returning for future appointments.

I loved, loved, loved my experience at Salon D'Shayn. My stylist Bret was so amazing, attentive, and kind throughout the whole experience. ❤️ He made sure to text me before my appointment so he could get a better idea if what I was wanting. Then he decided it would be best to do a short consultation the day before, and we went over exactly what I was looking for. When I say he went above and beyond!! 😄 He noticed my hair needed to be even, and he gave me a beautiful precision cut before my highlights. Just wanted to thank you, my hair was so perfect on my trip to the beach. ⛱️ ☺️ Will most definitely recommend my stylist Bret and the salon!

The best waxing ever! D’Lisa is so great to talk to and quick, efficient, and skillful with the waxing it truly is less painful. I also had an incredible facial with D’Lisa. I am so grateful to have this wonderful local business in the neighborhood.

Nicole is the best massage therapist out there. She is always punctual, and very reliable. Her communication is excellent. I enjoy every visit I have with her. If you have not tried her yet, you really should.

D’Lisa is amazing! I have been coming to her salon for 12 years now, through various locations (when she had the Scottsdale one too) and would not go anywhere else for my waxing and skin care needs. Actually I have never even thought about having a Brazilian wax if it wasn’t for D’Lisa skills! She’s also very fun and personable and professional, and the salon is top notch in terms of appearance and cleanliness.

I'm not sure how I haven't written a review yet.....I have been coming to Salon D'Shayn since 2014 or 2015 for eyebrow waxing. I'm a millennial who fell victim to the tweezers in the early 2000s (stupid skinny eyebrow trend) and D'Lisa and I have been doing "eyebrow therapy" since day 1. I would trust her to wax any part of my body at this point. Just do the dang brazillian! I have also had haircuts by several of the folks at the salon but Nadine is my girl! Highly recommend this salon.

I’ve been seeing D’Lisa at Salon D’ Shayn for about a decade now and she’s the best in the business !! The space she has created and the people she brings together are some of the best in the valley. Service is always on-time & efficient; she also maintains the highest hygiene standards, which is something that’s very important to me when choosing a salon.

I can't say enough good things about this place. You walk in to see the sweetest smiles. Are constantly offered coffee, waters or snacks. Have an amazing service done. And leave feeling (and being told you're🤪) beautiful! I can't think of one thing I would want to change. So thankful I found it!

I had almost given up on trying to find a hairstylist who could give me a perfect shag cut and help restore all my natural curl. I found Vanessa on Reddit and she is AMAZING. I have never loved my hair so much. I finally feel like myself again. I cannot recommend them enough!

I had the highest quality experience at Salon D'Shayn for my bridal hair and makeup! Communication was on point from the start. The professionalism and care was apparent from the owner who helped me book an appointment right away with Lydia. Let me tell you, she's a makeup artist/ hair stylist extraordinaire! Lydia listened to my requests and made me look straight out of a magazine. I received so many compliments from my guests. It was the perfect vision and vibe I was going for on my special day!

I have been going to Lydia for the past 5 years and she has completely transformed my hair. I have very long, thick, and wavy hair that can be a lot to take on. Lydia just gets it and has really helped me find a style and look that makes me feel the most beautiful and confident I have ever felt. Because I have so much hair my appointments take awhile but she always takes her time with me and also educates me on products and styling since I am lazy when it comes to actually doing my hair. It's really rare to find someone who is so invested in making you look and feel incredible and Lydia is that kind of person. I got very lucky that I found her and if you are looking for a stylist I recommend booking at Salon D'Shayn with her. The photos below are a before and after of how Lydia transformed my hair.

I have been seeing Chanelle for my hair since I moved to AZ almost 9 years ago. I’ve followed her to every new salon, and Salon D’Shayn is by far my favorite that she’s worked at! The front desk staff are always cheerful and kind. Always offering me a cold beverage. The salon is clean and quiet with amazing products! I would definitely recommend Chanelle Stanforth and Salon D’Shayn to anyone looking for a new salon!

I love Salon D’Shayn! I’ve been going to their stylists for 8 years but I’m currently seeing Vanessa and she is the most wonderful human. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a shag (that’s what I get) or if you just need someone who’s incredibly kind and easy to work with. I’ve also worked with Lydia who’s done lovely color work on my hair and is so fun to chat with. Overall the spot is just a vibe. Everyone is lovely and talented.

I've been coming here for decades! D'Lisa is the best waxer I've ever had and have recently been partaking in their aesthetician services as well with peels and plasma. I also get my hair done regularly by the fantastic Nadine. Very happy with the service of every professional I've contacted there. Appointment booking is awesome, product selection is great, always greeted and treated with respect by everyone and you can't beat the location!

i looked into the best salons near me online months prior to booking an appointment, and came across Salon D’Shayn. i saw that they offered “special event hair and makeup” and immediately booked a $175 service. 3 weeks later when it was time for me to get this done (after confirmation as well), I arrived at the establishment completely ecstatic for a seamless graduation. Upon arriving, the woman who came up to help me was very confused as to why I was there. I informed her that I had booked an appt 3 weeks ago. She then attempted to call Vicente (the person i booked with) to let him know I was there for a very important event appointment. He then proceeded to tell me that he had moved, and didn’t have enough time to give me the hair and makeup I was desiring due to his new placement and inaccuracy of current establishment. Long story short: I never got to experience the services that this place offers because they ruined my graduation day.

Salon D'Shayn boasts a fantastic location and a beautiful setting, filled with natural light and meticulously curated details. Here, I found two of my favorite specialists: Bao, a hair stylist who skillfully cuts my crazy, curly, fine hair, making it look the best it ever has, and Leticia, a nail specialist who has significantly improved the condition of my toenails and feet, which I was always self-conscious about. Now, I happily look forward to my appointments at Salon D'Shayn and leave feeling great every time. My rating? 10 stars!

I am new to Phoenix and Salon D'Shayn is within walking distance. I lucked out as this is such a welcoming and professional space. Candis is an amazing Hair Artist and I felt well cared for for my hair color and cut. The salon is bright and cheery and friendly. Candis shared tips for how to care for and style my hair, which was super helpful! I will be back! Thank you!

I wouldn't take a stray dog to be groomed at this over priced Great Clips! Terrible job for $300.00. They do not stand behind their work when they screw-up! (Channel & d'Lisa). Expect orange hair and a shabby cut and you may be happy with them.
