Excelente lugar, me atendieron super bien, desde Sol al recibirme y darme su opinión respecto a los 2 estilos que llevaba en mente (Gracias por tu opinión acertada y amable) incluso la persona que lavó mi cabello, me trató super bien, me sentí muy cómoda. Ha sido la mejor experiencia en un salón. Definitivamente regresaré.

Been here twice now! Second time getting a perm and cut by Sunny! This salon is the best. Parking is easy and validated. The salon itself is modern, sleek, and very clean. During my visit, Sol was super kind and helpful the whole process. Sunny knows how to cut my hair to not only what I like, but what looks the best on me. She also gives really good tips on styling and aftercare. Overall, always a great experience! Everyone is so kind and very professional. I will be returning for another visit very soon.

I enjoyed going to this establishment for my monthly haircut and scalp treatment, but now that some of my favorite stylists (Jay and Emma) are all long gone, the place seems overpriced. Few of my recent visits weren't just as satisfying and stylists weren't as detailed or communicative. Maybe I will try again in 6 months or so.

I used to struggle a lot with finding the right salon in LA, but I’ve been coming to this place for over a year now and I absolutely love it. The salon is super clean, and the service is amazing. Every time I visit, the staff is so friendly and really takes the time to listen to what I want, helping me find the perfect style. I’ve recommended it to my friends, and now they all come here too. If you're looking for a great stylist, I highly recommend Shawn (Instagram: @dohairwithshawn) – he’s the best!

Tei has been cutting my hair for a few months now. I trusted her to cut and perm my hair before my wedding day. She did a phenomenal job and continues to do so routinely when I visit her. They also wash your hair before and afterwards. The scalp massages are amazing. It instantly melts my stress away. I will be continuing to get my haircuts here!

Teiko and Diana are amazing!! Teiko gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had! She did a great job and made it look absolutely perfect. Diana gave me an amazing head massage while washing my hair, It was incredibly relaxing and felt wonderful. This salon is one of the best I’ve ever been to!! 🥰💗

i came in to get heavy layers on a wig because i've been seeing girls do this on tiktok and from the pictures of the salon i was sure that they can do what i wanted. i showed her a reference picture of heavy layers and a blowout and she said she could do that. when she sat me down she asked me again if i wanted alot of layers or a little and i told her alot. she then proceeded to only do the slightest bit of layers and regular wand curls completely opposite of the pictures i showed her. i told her i liked it and still tipped her because it was nice but it was honestly not even similar to the picture i showed. they also did this weird thing where they locked the doors and didnt unlock it until after i paid, insinuating i was going to run out the salon without paying which made me extremely uncomfortable and upset because i could only assume they did that because im black. anyways the hair style was very nice i just wish for $140 i would've actually got what i asked for

I’ve been a loyal client of Shawn for the past five years, and I can’t recommend him enough! He always takes the time to listen to my ideas/thoughts and offers his expert advice! He always thinks from clients perspective which makes me feel so comfortable coming to him every time! I can’t remember how many times I got compliments from people after I got a new haircut or hair color. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about their craft and their clients, come and find Shawn!

I have been going to this salon, specifically Meijin, for bleaching and coloring my hair for over a year now and I intend on always coming back. Meijin saved my hair from being fried and over bleached and now I have the healthiest hair ever even though I still consistently bleach it. The salon itself is clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. I cannot recommend this salon enough. If you are looking for hair coloring, Meijin is the best.

My scalp is immaculate now thanks to Jieun. It's cleaner than the board of health. Plus I had pull an Amy Winehouse and make sure my white hairs went back to black. Shawn took care of that with finesse. Would recommend

May knows the customers and designs the best! I always go to her for haircut even I moved to the other cities. Most important of all, she makes my husband looks handsome 😻 it’s a huge difference like magic! May makes us look better ♥️

My hair is so frizzy, so I decided to get a perm to straighten my hair. This was in July and my hair still looks straight! I'm very satisfied with the results and I recommend Emma, she was very nice and experienced!

When I visited LA a few years ago, Shawn gave me one of the best styling experiences I've ever had. So, when I moved to LA, I knew he was the stylist for me. Shawn's skill and artistry make every visit exceptional, and he’s great at understanding and achieving your vision. I leave every time looking and feeling fantastic. The staff at Salon de Freya are highly professional and attentive. They make every effort to prioritize customer comfort and care. I highly recommend Shawn—he’s a true master in hairstyling. My wife also had her hair done by him and is now a fan too!

Been going here for years. Recent two haircuts were just average or below. No response from stylist after letting them know I’m not satisfied. Will not be returning after years of loyalty. $250 better spent elsewhere. Edit: the main stylist got back to me and offered a redo. Even though I appreciate the reaching out, I’ve thought about how it was super clear I was not happy in store and I was basically ignored and pressured into believing it was good - I’ve had numerous people ask me “what happened to your hair” over the week following my cut. I’m super frustrated, and unfortunately a redo can’t bring back the hair that was lost. If you care about your hair, be really careful and specific as possible about what you expect. I thought I was, but clearly that didn’t work this time or last time I came. I won’t be returning ever again.

Got my hair done by Jay -- best experience ever! I hardly get my hair done due to bad experiences but he made sure I was in good hands. Will be coming back 😀 Update: I came back for root touch up & sadly I wasn't happy with my results. I was getting my hair done by someone else since Jay isn't there. My root touch up wasn't even a root touch more like a patch with uneven shades on my roots 😔

the best hair salon ever and the only one i go to in LA!! I had the pleasure of having my hair done by sunny, meijin, MJ and jay. they have all been very wonderful. they took care of my very damaged hair and made it beautiful again. never i have to fear of being insecure with myself. I highly recommend this salon to any first-timers or in general from men’s + women’s hair coloring and extensions which i’ve gotten from them has both been incredible. 10/10 🎀 ♾️ 💖

I got a haircut from Shawn. He gave me a whole new look with amazing haircut with some curls to style my hair a lot easier. Shawn and all the other staffs here were very kind☺️👍🏻 I would have to say this salon is one of the best salon in ktown:)

This place is awesome. It is a whole experience. You come in, they help you put your stuff away, help you put on the robe, get you started with shampoo and hair treatment (bonus scalp massage that makes you fall asleep from being so relaxing), then get you seated with your hair stylist (mine is the talented Shawn) and they bring you snacks and beverages. Then you munch on the goodies as you have your consultation with your stylist on what kind of style you want to do. It is always a royal experience here, and seriously there is no style that Shawn can not do. My girlfriend from Korea who always only went to the nicest places in Gangnam (Beverly Hills of Korea) also gets her hair done only with Shawn at Freya, and she loves it here. Thanks Freya, and thanks Shawn for keeping us looking fresh and beautiful always.

I went in for a consultation and my hair was cut horribly. Their Instagram showed very nice cuts. The stylist was rude and didn’t listen to anything I wanted. She cut my hair the way she felt it would look best and ignored all of my questions and comments. I asked her to stop and she ignored me and continued. She took numerous photos of me when I asked her not to. She then had the nerve to charge me more than anyone else at $120. I would never recommend to anyone.

This was the best experience I’ve had at a salon. I can’t thank the team enough, they did a fantastic job and I will be returning. Everyone was super accommodating and nice. Very pretty space too. I came in with extremely damaged hair, and they took on the challenge and helped me with hair restorative treatments and correcting the color without further damaging my hair. Everyone was amazing, I didn’t get everyone’s name (sorry!!!) but I want to give a shout out to Gina, who talked me through the whole process and made sure I understood each treatment I would be getting. Thanks a million Team Freya!

Freya team delivers quality service. Great scalp treatment. Thanks Gina for excellent service! Very welcoming attitude. Gina dyed my hair to blue black with care, my scalp is so sensitive but she cared it carefully so I don’t have any trouble with the hair dying. Gina is the best stylist. I will come back for color and hair cut next time. Can't wait!

Got a perm here and it was excellent! Even better than I expected. Was given drinks and snacks while waiting. Hairdressers know what they're doing and were very communicative. Shawn is a legend at what he does!!

Today I was at Salon de Freya and I have to say that it is a hair salon worth checking out. It is very difficult for me to find a good hair salon that can handle my hair and in this hair salon they did just that. I got a perm and a haircut and I love it! I will definitely be back.
