All chairs empty, 3 staff on their phones doing absolutely nothing. Refused to take me because they didn’t want to process a credit card when their boss is not there (demanded cash only to pocket the money). I could have become a repeat customer as walk by them almost daily. This is why businesses fail.

Nina did a great job!She patched up an uneven cut of mine. I highly recommend this Salon. I have been to many places an my hair is somewhat difficult and thick. Nina is very skilled! Good Salon all around!

Just went there yesterday! I have semi-curly hair, very thick, and have struggled to get cuts that hit the right length, and struggled to get bangs that fit the style I want without a ton of daily styling. Decided to book an appointment on a whim after work and Teresa totally took care of me! I usually struggle to explain what I want but she figured it out quickly, did the cut in no time, and it's one of the best cuts I've had. Highly recommend, especially if you work in the area, and I was very happy with the price!

This man is a con artist. The sign out front says &35 hair cut for new customers. My daughter and I were staying nearby and decided to go in. We both got basic simple hair cuts. When we went to pay. he said "put the card in" I asked how much it was he came from behind the counter. took my card and said "you have to put it in to see" It was double the price and it was too late because my card was entered. The ladies were great and both got tipped but be very careful if you go here.

Horrible service. Completely unprofessional. A bunch of Chatty Cathies with mediocre skills who run a sham of a salon. I went in for a simple root touch up and blow dry and walked out almost two hours later with soaking wet hair because of their unskilled unprofessional attitude. The manager upfront is a special breed of useless and disrespectful. Horrible place . If you wanna get hair services done I suggest the Hair lounge which is just opposite to them. Great service and extremely professional. Don’t make the same mistake I did and waste precious time and money.

I recently visited Salon DeLouie with my friend, and we were incredibly impressed with the service. AD, who helped my friend with an amazing blow-dry hairstyle, was warm, helpful, and an amazing singer! His talent and professionalism truly stood out. Highly recommend—AD is the best at his craft!

Lawrence is the most AMAZING hair stylist in ALL OF NYC. He makes your hair look insanely beautiful with so much body. He literally walked me home in the rain once to ensure my hair didn’t get ruined, as I’m a loyal client coming to him for a while. True grace and professionalism and he’s so much fun to talk to. I don’t give reviews like this often. Book him today.

Had my haircut and highlighted by the one and only Maria today and I am so happy with the results! I’ve been following her for years now. My hair is thick and coarse and Maria always cuts it to perfection. Also, my hair is jet black and she was able to achieve the prettiest caramel highlights in my hair to frame my face perfectly. As far as the salon, I cannot say enough good things. The team members are nice and it’s just a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Aside from going to Maria for my haircut and getting my hair highlighted today, I’ve also been here for blowouts and I’ve had lovely experiences with that as well. The pricing is reasonable too which is not always the case for NYC salons.

I’ve been coming here for 14 years now, with the same stylist (Teresa) the entire time. She does such a superb job every single time - so meticulous and detailed. I do not live close by and still make the trek over. The salon has a home-like feel and I love the interaction with everyone. Highly recommend.

+ could get same day appointment for blow dry and hair styling + They are using Oribe products + My hair stylist was a good listener and understood my concerns and did a good job on my hair. + No mandated tip + Location + Cleanliness - Price was higher comparing neighbor salons - Owner (I guess) was a heavy smoker and he was smoking in front of the salon and all the smoke was in salon. - a lady from their team gave me a negative comment about my hair because it is white and asked, 'Why don't you dye your hair?' However, I believe that my hair color is my personal choice, and no one should make such comments.

I was around the area and I wanted a haircut. I saw Salon DeLouie and was quickly seen. The place is so clean and chic. One of the nicest salons I've been to. Nina did a great job with my haircut. She cut my hair the way I wanted to and I left very satisfied. Everyone was very sweet and personable. I would definitely come back!

I was told $35 for a blow dry and they charged me $50 at the end saying i had lots of hair. Very lame. Do I pay less when I do my nails because they are little? Should we charge fat people more because they are heavier on planes? Should I pay less when I get my eyebrows done because they are easy to do? No. So when you fix a price, keep it. And dont change it viciously at the end without saying anything.

I asked for a blow dry and he took a year to do my hair other customers came after me with longer hair and got out before me and i kept ask him to fix my hair 3-4 times .. i came the next day to fix it .. he went out crazy because he didn't get his tip saying the owner where SO MAD because i didn't tip him . and asked for 30 dollars for fixing the front hair only ,, and kept arguing about why he didn't have any tip while he worked hard but not good and how my hair was so Hard though i have curly type A3 .. for someone who works on a saloon he should be Expert and know how to do all types of hair 🙂 this is so disrespectful and disappointing i wont recommend this place im sorry .. you get a tip when you DESERVE the tip

I went in with zero expecting but OMG was I wrong. I def got one of the best haircut of my life. All I did was showed a picture of something similar to what I wanted and I literally got a copy of that. Feathery blowout with thousands of layers

I would give 0 stars if its available to this place the owner and the lady Nina are so rude and non accommodating people. They give you wrong information on the phone, when you walk in as a client they treat you very unwelcoming, avoid this place at all cost!!

Nina is the most talented hair stylist I've ever met. This little salon in my neighborhood is so full of talented people and such a great value. I go every week because what Nina can do in 25 mins would take me 3 hours myself and the time she saves me in priceless.
