Diego and Eileen consistently knock it out of the park. I go to Diego for cuts, and he always spends the first part asking me about my hair goals and explaining what his plan is for my cut. He is so kind and thorough! I go to Eileen for my keratin treatments. She is so gentle– I've never once felt too much heat or pulling, and she always checks in to make sure I'm doing alright. She does an excellent job of getting every stray lock of hair. They are both deeply committed to their craft, and it certainly shows.

Chad is a genius. I have temperamental 3a-c hair that I tend to straighten a ton, and so it’s seen some stuff. He always manages to bring it back to life and make it beautiful.

Mason is very skilled, meticulous, and has great listening skills. These are the most important attributes of a top hairstylist. The keratin treatment he gave me is superb.Make an appointment, you’ll be glad you did!

Diego was incredible. He listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. He explained what my hair needed and why my previous cut wasn’t right for me. Also love the Wednesday $90 haircut deal. I’ll definitely be back.

I love Salon Dumbo! Always a great experience from start to finish. Chad is a genius stylist who really listens to and cares about his clients. I feel so well taken care of whenever I visit. I often get compliments on my hair and I always say “Go to Salon Dumbo!”

I used Salon Dumbo as a stop on a marriage proposal treasure/scavenger hunt and they were AMAZING! Everyone was extremely communicative. They had a stylist and makeup artist who were incredible. On top of the amazing job they did, they also helped me make sure she was out at the correct time for the marriage proposal. If you need beautification before a major life event (Or any life event) look no further

I hate to write this review since Diego always did a great job. This is my first time going with “any available staff” and got unlucky to have Yarisha as my stylist. Since the beginning she seemed to be in a rush, treating and talking to me as if I was dumb. She did the bare minimum and I had to ask her to cut more hair 3 times. When I got home I noticed she did an awful job in the back and had to get it fixed at another Salon after paying $50+. My recommendation is to book Diego.

I’ve been going to Salon Dumbo for the past few years to see my hairstylist I’ve had for almost 10 years, Chad Taber! The salon is always clean and the other staff are incredibly nice and hospitable. Wonderful salon! Chad KILLS the hair game from color to cuts, long or short you can trust him to give you a haircut that will leave you feeling like your best self. Highly suggest stopping in at Salon Dumbo and asking for Chad!

Stumbled across this gem in Brooklyn - had a wash and blow dry by Diego. He was truly amazing, had the most warm positive energy, and he was incredibly skilled (and gentle) with my hair. Thank you, I will be back!

Friendly, easy going staff. Didn't feel pressured into anything and Diego was wonderful and understanding. I felt I was in good hands and let him do his thing and I was very happy! Price was reasonable, good value. I will definitely be back for next trim or new style. Update: I have been living with Diego's cut/style for a week now and absolutely love it. I told him I am a very busy person and someone who doesn't spend much time on her hair, but wants to look good and as already mentioned, let him do his thing. Straight out of bed the cut looks great! If I didn't want to do anything with it I wouldn't have to. I will of course brush it, but even that isn't necessary. The cut just beautifully falls into place. Thank you so much Diego!!

I can’t say enough about this salon and most importantly about Chad! I came in not knowing quite what I wanted. Chad had the perfect idea for cut and color. It turned out even better than I hoped for. He is a true artist and is so easy to talk to. All the way from NC and was so worth the experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Dumbo. The whole staff was friendly, warm, & welcoming. My hair dresser Diego was thorough and did a fabulous job. I’m very happy with how my hair turned out. In addition to wonderful hair coloring, the staff also served me cappuccinos and came over to talk/entertain me during the waiting periods. Elle was so friendly & generous. The music was also so fun & lively. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon.

I only trust Salon Dumbo with my hair. For the last decade they have proven themselves with consistently excellent hair care and services. Their staff has a high skill level, they make you feel comfortable, the prices are reasonable, the products used are great for people that are sensitive to regular salon products. It is a well run, professional, approachable, stylish hair salon. I love the owners and staff. Two thumbs up! I highly recommend them.
