They don't have a receptionist to make appointments so it's a headache setting one up. I brought pictures of what I wanted done to my hair which required bleaching it and I was very disappointed with the results. My hair came out very brassy and patchy/blotchy. I will have to go to another salon now to pay more money to get it fixed once I've given it a chance to recover.

Eugene is the best. I needed a updated haircut and found this place. He was able to get me in the same day. He is professional and knows how to cut hair. He followed all the Covid guidelines. His salon is very clean. He is very talented and knows what looks good on his clients. I am looking forward to the next visit. Please give him a call, you will not be sorry. Eugene is wonderful! My first haircut in months and I was very pleased to see that the salon was following all health safety precautions. Not just happy to get my hair done, this was the best cut I've ever had on my fine, short pixie hair. Eugene knows hair and professionalism. Can't wait for my next visit!

I been going here since they were in Carolina Place Mall..Salon E5 is Very Knowledgeable and Professional!! They know hair - Period!! Great Atmosphere.. Clean...Great Products and Hair Colors!! I see Yolanda who is helping my hair Grow...All Walks of Life won't be disappointed!! Highly Recommend!! Eugene Owner is Amazing!!

I have been in Charlotte for almost a year and have not found anyone who can work with my fine, short hair. Eugene was the first person to sit down with me, ask what I was looking for, educate me on his process and deliver what I was wanting. He was professional, fun and I am excited to work with him again. Highly recommend!!

I love this place so much I found them when they were in the mall before they moved to the Carmel Road location everybody is so pleasant so nice they have expert advice that helped me get my hair healthy among getting my daughter's hair healthy and keeping it healthy and they are amazing Debbie is is phenomenal.

After 10 years of trying to find a good hairdresser in Charlotte, i FINALLY found the one for me! Eugene did a great job! this was my 1st time actually loving my haircut. I highly recommend this place.

Eugene is AWESOME. He takes pride in his facility, and rightfully so because it is very aesthetically pleasing. He takes the time to build your confidence in him by making sure he is on the right page with your expectations of him. He is sincerely nice. He is also very skillful, capturing the exact cut that I had been wanting for some time. I moved back to the area over a year ago and am so thankful to finally have found MY stylist!!! Just gave my daughter the Best “First Salon Experience” with the help of Eugene at Salon E5!! Sure, she’s had her hair cut before but she received special care and expertise as Eugene sat with us, listened to her, and took notice of my concern. Yet, he made all her Bayalage dreams come true! Best part is that her hair looks perfectly kissed by the sun and angels above—and nothing more—as a parent, that is how to keep parents’ trust. Yes, I have booked the next appointment: it is for ME!!
