I am Hanan, and replying on your reply, I came to tell you what happened about the reaction and the allergy from the products you used because I sent you a message earlier but you didn't respond to it. The toner you used after the highlight was caused by the infection , I don't know why you use this toner after highlighting. No salon uses it. I have been 15 years making my hair highlight in different places, but no one used this product or toner after highlighting it, and I didn't have this horrible experience before. My fault was not reporting your salon. The hair gloss has an allergic reaction, which you didn't mention before you used it.

Salon Eden is a spacious, well designed, comfortable salon tucked away off Newton Rd in midtown Raleigh. The stylists are welcoming and friendly. The sound system and music are awesome. I so enjoyed my first experience and will return for a wedding blow out next month!

Joemary does a great job every time! I’ve been going to her for a few years now and I completely trust Joemary when it comes to her expertise. We play with color frequently and she always has amazing taste, and I always leave the salon happy. She is really informative when it comes to how to care for my hair once I leave the salon to make the color last. Look no further for a great experience!

I cheated on my previous salon/stylist, and honestly, I should probably feel worse about it, but I'm never looking back! You know how it usually goes: friend sees friend's new hair, friend passes along contact info only for the friend to forget all about it, right? WRONG. Thank GOD that wasn't the case here. I typically have trust issues when it comes to stylists- change isn't my strong suit- but I was in a rut, needed a win, and after stalking JoeMary's IG page (@joemaryrodriguezhairstylist), I honestly just went for it. I am SO glad I did. I told her I needed my Hot Girl Era hair and she NAILED it. I even felt like I had my own Princess Diaries moment with the reveal and everything! JoeMary and I were on the same page from start to finish- even had the same inspiration photos from her IG! I genuinely think this was the first time I was ever truly able torelax while getting my hair done, without stressing about the end result. It was a great experience from start to finish, to the extent that even the hair washing bowls were comfortable on your neck, and you KNOW that is near impossible. I was a bit apprehensive about going to a luxury salon, thinking I wouldn't fit in. Again, I found myself pleasantly surprised. The salon environment was incredibly welcoming and everyone was really friendly. It wasn't overly pretentious in the best way possible while maintaining a bright, clean, modern and beautiful aesthetic. I cannot recommend JoeMary and her services enough. I hope that this review does her and Salon Eden justice!

AN HONEST REVIEW FROM A WOMAN OF COLOR I have always struggled with my hair and have never truly felt in love with the way I looked -- that is until I met Joemary! I will be the first to say this sounds cheesy, but I have genuinely never felt more gorgeous. As a woman of color, having those dream waterfall curls that cascade down your neck and back always seemed like something I would never be able to have myself. I have been keratin treating my hair for several years now to keep my hair relatively straight and my curl pattern under control (I'm naturally a 4C). I have had extensions in the past and I *thought I was happy with them -- but I NOW understand the difference high-quality hair makes. If you have never had extensions of any length before, you need to be prepared for it to be an investment: not just in the $$ of the hair, but the every day wear. If you want to get the most out of your hair, you'll want to invest in the salon-quality shampoos, heat protectant and styling sprays. TRUST ME! I have tried to find dupes in drug stores, but ultimately there is nothing that will protect your hair like the products at Salon Eden. You'll also want to make sure you are brushing out your extensions and wearing a protective hairstyle to sleep! I personally also like to use a silk head wrap to keep my hair from getting tangled or rubbing on my cotton sheets. Joemary and her staff were incredibly kind, caring and gentle! In the past, I've had stylists at other salons PULL at my scalp or place beads way too close to my scalp which led to irritation -- I'm very happy nothing like this happened and the extensions didn't hurt at all! I felt as though I was truly listened to throughout my consultation. I came in with shoulder-length dark brown hair with a lot of stress breakage on my sides. After talking with Joemary, we decided to go a little darker to help color match with the extensions. I'm SO glad we did! Joemary also layered my extensions perfectly to hide my breakage and give me coverage around my face and everything blends seamlessly. Joemary walked me through every step as we went along, so nothing came as a surprise and I'm so incredibly pleased with my results! All in all, these extensions have given me confidence I never dreamed I could have. If you're looking for volume, length, and to give your natural hair a break from heat -- this is a great solution! UPDATE: I have been going to Salon Eden for almost a year now. Literally every time I go to this salon, I am shocked at how amazing my hair looks. I finally tried 26” extensions and Joemary KILLED IT. I have never looked so glam and fabulous. If you want a salon that will treat you like a queen and make you look like a celebrity, this is the place. Also - Kat is the best lash artist I have ever been to; I can never go back to anyone else because she’s spoiled me. I had Joemary do NBR extensions for me, and the whole process was amazing. She reached out several days before to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted, and created a fully customized half pink/half brown look. The day of, she decided I needed three rows instead of two and had prepared enough hair to make it happen. The whole salon was a positive, uplifting vibe and there was no shortage of drinks, snacks, and music to keep me company. Joemary talked me through the whole process and made sure I walked away knowing how to care for my extensions. Best experience I have ever had at a hair salon!

0 stars if possible. My hair was cut sideways. It was uneven and cut at a very noticeable slant. Then it was put into a braid to try and hide the mess. Did not ever go back. Got my haircut corrected elsewhere where they also agreed the work was sloppy and unprofessional.

Go here for your blonde goals! I had my first visit to this salon yesterday and Joe was my stylist. The appointment process was easy- it didn’t take months to make an appointment and it was simple to book online. The salon itself is beautiful and clean, and Joe greeted me as soon as I walked in. Joe was very transparent about pricing and the cost was comparable to the past few times I’ve had my hair done elsewhere. I could tell Joe was very confident and experienced as soon as we starting discussing what I wanted. She listened to everything I asked for and totally delivered! My hair is exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks again!

She is an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable technician and took the time to understand my desired look and offered valuable recommendations based on my eye shape and personal style. I recently visited JoeMary at Salon Eden and I must say, I had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in I felt pampered! The salon itself was clean and beautifully decorated, with a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. I had my hair colored and NBR extensions installed by JoeMary and she was fantastic! She took the time to listen to my needs and made sure to understand exactly what I wanted. She provided me with some great suggestions and worked with me to create the perfect look. She was skilled, professional, and very easy to talk to. I was thrilled with the final result! My hair looks amazing and exactly how I wanted it. I received so many compliments from friends and family. I also appreciated the extra care and attention that was given to me throughout the entire process. I went to them once for a color. They put red in my hair, but they must have used a permanent (I didn't ask for that and they told me it wasn't) - but now my salon can't get the color to lift. When I wasn't happy with my hair 2 days after the color - it just wasn't what I wanted - they wouldn't see me to fix it. I have never gone back.

I’m a big baby when it comes to my hair, I hadn’t had it trimmed in 3 years and wanted to keep my length but knew I needed to get a trim. JoeMary and Kenny were super friendly and understanding and made me feel at home in the salon. When I sat in the chair JoeMary asked me what I wanted and worked with me to make sure I was happy. She is not “scissor happy” lol, she really cares about making sure her clients are happy. She gave me some clarifying treatment to lighten the load of my hair and was gentle while shampooing and brushing out my knots. My hair is once again happy and healthy and I’m grateful to have found a salon and people I can trust.

Kania did my hair and gave me exactly what i wanted with an all over color and cut service! Was very clear about the price before starting and the process to give me what i wanted! Took the time to cut evenly and style at the end too! All the stylists were very friendly and I’d recommend this salon to anyone.

Love my cut! I have really long hair and am nervous about a stylist going too short but my stylist today (I think nick name was Kat - can’t remember her full name sadly) was super sweet and respected my request to keep my hair at a longer length! First visit and will definitely come back again!

Never go here. Untrue about pricing online and over the phone. Just wanted a simple trim but as a black woman there is tax everywhere. Charge a $50 consultation fee for new customers that is not advertised ANYWHERE! Can’t do natural hair trim unless charge $100+ with a black stylist on staff!!! Update: I will admit their customer service was cordial following up on my comment so one star back. But I still stand by my statement and they confirmed they did not verbally confirm the $50 consultation it was in the fine print of a waiver they have you sign at the door. You are warned now. Thankfully my card was not on file. Also they will charge you full price for a blowout just to trim your ends. So if you have curly hair just stick to your regular black beautician who knows how to price just for that service. Just hair trimming, I don’t require a full blowout. So if you are going to pay 100+ for something basic don’t go to this “diverse” salon who will charge you 160 for a blowout. I was trying something different smh.

The hairstylist was nice but my hair color turned out horrible. At first it looked okay at the salon but the next day I realized it looked so orange and had big chunks of bleached hair underneath. I had to travel the next day so I ended up buying a cheap hair color from Walmart to correct it. Oh and on top of ruining my hair they charged $400 for a hair cut and color that I never got a breakdown of what they charged. Oh and they make you pay 20% tip over $200. Not returning even if they refunded.

This salon is my addiction!! Can't stop coming!!! Everyone is very professional, always welcomed with coffee or a mimosa!! I have been coming here for the past 3 years and love how healthy my hair is throughout all the color changes I've had. Joe and her team really go above and beyond!!

I can’t even begin how impressed I am with this salon!! The vibe is super down to earth and their complete staff always feel like they are good humans who take their art seriously! When it comes to haircut color and styling, Hannah is the ultimate example of excellence. She is passionate about making people feel and look their best! I often find myself in between what I want and what I need. Hannah finds really good balance and give the best advice every time! I have been to Hannah several sessions, and plan to continue!

I went into Salon Eden last minute to fix a haircut I got elsewhere. I had just gotten my hair chopped way short, but the stylist didn’t do any thinning for me. So today, Kania at Salon Eden did an AMAZING job thinning out and styling my new short hair :) Very detail-oriented, and easy to talk to! The whole staff was extremely friendly, and if I wasn’t moving out of state this would be my new go-to salon. EVERYONE GO HERE :):)

The salon is so bad , she can blatantly put a tip on the bill while my hair is not done . rude receptionist, act like a bandit Horrible service, since you walk in seem perfect when you check out they turned 🤬 and curse They said their policy included 20% . But on the form is Wrote require 20% minimum. Nothing say it has to charge with the bill included . I didn’t like my hair at all , she rescheduled me in a different day because her client is there already. So i took my day off , drove 90 miles away to be there, paid 430 usd for my hair . Then have to take another days off from work to drive 90 miles away to be there all days again to fix my hair . And drive back 90 miles to be home .

I love love love this salon! From the moment you walk through the door to the moment that you leave, they take such great care of you! I have been lucky enough to have had my hair cut by both Brenda and Hannah. They both did an incredible job! The Oribe hair products always make my hair look and smell amazing. Next on my list to try is the NBR hair extensions!
