After being unhappy with my experiences at other salons, I decided to research places that specialize in curly hair. Salon Element had great reviews and the most reasonable prices of curly hair salons across St. Louis. Sean did a corrective cut on my hair after I got a terrible cut from another salon. He's given me great advice on products to use, styling tips, etc. Both he and Dane are very welcoming people and I love the vibe of their salon. So happy I tried them out!

BEST. SALON. EVER. I’m telling you…you will absolutely adore the talent and work they do. I love these guys. I used them as my main hair stylist when they were in Athens, Ga. I have curly hair and I’m really picky about my hair and who cuts it. I used to work at Starbucks and they found me through the drive through saying they specialize in curly hair (I had just moved to the town so I didn’t have a set stylist) and so I thought to check them out and WOW WAS I AMAZED. I am going to miss them so much. Please this is one of the greatest salons with the greatest people you will ever go to. I’m telling you, they will be your number one.

Dane use to cut/color my hair a couple years ago when the shop was on Lansdowne. Always did a fabulous job and hadn't found anyone as talented as him. So happy he's back and received the best cut I have had in years!! Thank you Dane!! Welcome back!!

For most of my life I have been using a hair dryer and a big round brush to straighten my curly hair. When I met Sean and Dane they convinced me to set it free, and I took the plunge about 2 1/2 years ago. Sean did a wonderful cut for me, and it’s so much quicker and easier. I’m so happy with my hair now, and I get compliments on it all the time — and I don’t have to dread humid weather making it look electrified! Never going back! As a bonus, Sean and Dane are great guys!! Try them — I guarantee you’ll be glad you did!

I got the best haircut of my life on my first appt with Sean! I immediately scheduled a color appt for the next week and love it too. As a wavy/curly haired girl, finding someone like Sean is worth his weight in gold.

I must confess that I've been neglectful of my hair. Recognizing the need for a haircut, I hesitated due to concerns about finding a reliable stylist. Following some research, I discovered Sean at Salon Element. Sean, who is highly knowledgeable and prioritizes the health of his clients' hair, provided insights into addressing the damage. His sweet and reassuring demeanor made me feel comfortable, and he did an outstanding job on my hair. I'm sincerely grateful and plan to entrust him with my hair care in the future.

I saw Dane for a haircut and highlights. I’m very picky about my highlights but even with no pictures he was able to do exactly what I described perfectly. I love it and will definitely be returning.

I visited the salon last week. I have curly hair and had concerns about repairing my damaged hair and Dane was great. He took his time and gave me great advice and product recommendations how to not only care for my hair but repair it. We did the bamboo deep conditioning treatment and got a much needed haircut which he also did a fantastic job on. I was very happy with my hair when I left and I highly recommend the salon especially if you have curly hair. I have another appointment already scheduled. You won’t be disappointed these guys are amazing at what they do

I was a client of Dane's for 5 years while he and Sean were in Georgia. While a client, Dane did root touch-ups, color highlights, cuts, blow dry and keratin treatments. Dane is a very professional stylist and I trusted his advice when it came to recommendations. He never disappointed! Every time I left the salon, I always received compliments about my hair. He listens to your concerns and uses his vast amount of knowledge in the industry to give an honest opinion about what he feels would work best for your hair. I always trusted him and it paid off!

I was lucky enough to find Dane Smith of Salon Element when he was in Georgia. I was blessed to have him color.and cut my hair, as well as do keratin treatments for a year, until he moved out of state. I was truly sad to see him go since he was a miracle worker for my thin, fine, and unruly hair. I highly recommend him!

I went to see Sean at Salon Element in North Georgia and made the hour and half long trip to Athens when he moved there to get my hair done, just because he is the best and really cares about his clients and their hair. He helped me so much with my hair. He restored my damaged hair and made it look beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about both him and Dane! Try them out!!

I’m a new client of Sean’s and I absolutely adore him and his work! Very genuine, happy and fun individual to chat with while getting you hair done. He knocked it out of the park with the blonde I was trying to get back to. I’m beyond pleased with how my hair turned out and can’t wait to come back. Salon itself was clean, hip and inviting. I’ve had multiple different styles of cuts done at Salon Element and every single one was a stunner!! Sean keeps me looking good, and is an amazing listener. And Dane consistently makes me laugh. The energy, ambiance and professionalism is exceptional. Love love love it!

Went to see Sean after 10 months of no hair care since my last retired. He was able to pinpoint what my hair needed and literally saved my rats nest of over bleached nonsense that I had neglected for far too long. My hair is healthier than it’s been in a WHILE. Also has a great sense of humor and conversationalist. I had an absolute amazing visit and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have their hair fit them in a wonderful place with wonderful people.
