I had the most amazing experience with Samantha who not only did a fantastic job moving up my hair extensions, but also did the most beautiful low light color job I’ve ever had! It’s hard finding a good hairdresser, especially after you had a really good one that moved… So thankful!

Joan made me feel welcomed and comfortable, he is super friendly and dose an amazing job after all the worst experiences I had with many hairstylist Joan did an amazing job on my hair and gave me hope that there are still amazing hairstylist out there such as him as soon as as my mom and cousin saw my hair they booked their appointment with him for cut and color 😍 can't wait for him to dye my hair for my birthday 😍 I highly recommend Joan if you are looking for a big change 🥰

Unable to rate actual haircut, but please if you have children or appreciate customer service don’t come here. Even though they have child haircut on their services, they don’t appear to want them there. We had a scheduled appt- no one acknowledged us for 15 min. Once it was after our booked time, we asked if there is anything we need to do since no one has spoken to us. The receptionist pointed at a hairdresser that just finished with a client just sitting on her phone. She gave the receptionist a look as if she wasn’t going to be doing it. The other hairdresser there just started on someone new so we would have to wait even longer. We ended up just leaving.

I made an appointment through Square Go for an appointment on a Friday. I cancelled the appointment on a Wednesday & have a screen shot as proof. I was still charged the $100 when I cancelled 48 hrs in advance. Their policy is a $100 fee for cancellation within 24 hours. I have written multiple emails over the course of 4 days and made multiple calls, left a voicemail (no one has ever answered), with only one response from Mr. Reyna. I want others to know it is their business practice to keep your deposit regardless of when you cancel.

On Thursday, November 7th i had an appointment scheduled for 10:30 am. At 9:57 am I received a text stating the following: Hi this is Clarissa with Salon Envy, we are going to have to reschedule your appointment. We are having technical issues with our door at the salon. I had already ordered an Uber and had to pay for it plus a cancelation fee of $25.53. Today, November 18th i am charged by this salon for $75. I have now spent over $100 for them canceling my appointment. They will not take call, voicemail is full and suddenly they don't answer text- which was their form of communication to cancel. Do not use this business. Do not trust this owner. I will be reporting them - BBB, City, licensing board, SOS and the Comptroller. This is fraud and theft.

6 months ago I got my hair done here and it was absolutely awful. I went in trying to go blond I showed her inspiration photos and asked if this was a reasonable outcome and she said yes. I only had 4 hours and asked if that was enough time and yet again she said yes. Through the appointment she stopped 3 times to do walk in’s as I sat and did nothing. I asked for 3/4 inches off and I would say she cut 6/7. She ended up not having enough time for me and had me leaving with a rough cut not to mention my hair was yellow. When I went to talk to a manager and get a refund they refused. I literally cried my eyes out and hid my hair for a week while I was scrambling to try to get someone to fix it. Please save yourself and don’t go here.

I absolutely love this salon, especially Joan. He was so wonderful. He listened to what I wanted while offering his expert opinion and then he made me feel like a million bucks after my trim and style. I will definitely be coming back for all my hair needs. Everyone should give em a try. Went back again and once again Joan made my hair vision come to life. I can't say enough about how wonderful he is.

I highly recommend this location on Austin highway. Lauren Reyna has taken care of us multiple times and every time she has been super informal on the process she does for my daughter explaining everything she needs to care for her hair. Lauren is very friendly, patient, has outstanding customer service and professionalism.

I went in with not much hope. I box dyed my hair 3 weeks prior to my appointment and Lauren explained that it would take sessions or achieve my hair goals which I understood. Lauren explained everything and took the time to show me options. We went in with full highlights without damaging/burning my hair. She is gentle and was super nice🫶 I love the outcome and will be looking forward to be in Lauren’s chair again🤍

Lauren did an amazing job on my daughter's hair . My daughter wanted purple hair and she achieved the look my daughter has been wanting . Lauren definitely listens to what you're wanting done . She also helped fix my daughters bangs after an at home cut . She is really great too with curly hair .. I definitely recommend and give her 10 stars!!!!

Missing an appointment is apparently enough for them to charge you a full fee for no service. I was too busy to cancel before the cancelation window and missed the opportunity to cancel. Tried contacting them as well, but there was no answer. Very unprofessional Salon is you ask me. But hey, they need the money more than me, so I hope they enjoy it and are happy with disloyal service, which is no service.

This salon was super clean and such a good vibe environment. I had my hair done by Ariel and she took my vision and turned it into beautiful reality. She was very patient and understanding from consult to styling and working with my hair! I love my new hair style and color! Excellent service! Looking forward to coming back!

I’m new to SA and was looking for a walk-in appointment on a Sunday. Luckily, Salon Envy welcomed me with open arms and I was helped right on the spot! My stylist was Joan Vargas who did such an amazing job at giving me the exact cut I had in mind. He was incredibly kind, attentive and even helped educate me on products to look into to keep my hair healthy. So glad I finally found my new go-to salon. Thank you again Joan!

Lauren, did such a great job on my hair. She understood what I wanted and delivered. She took her time and the end result was outstanding. My hair looks way healthier and my curls lasted until the following. I will definitely be going back to her.

I am writing this in the parking lot after my hair cut because I am so excited and happy about my experience here! Ariel did ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was very nervous because I wanted bangs and know how easy it is to mess those up. I asked her for advice (I have a square jawline) and she absolutely did amazing bangs on me to compliment my face frame! I am still so shocked this went so well. I will forever go here for Ariel. Thank you so much for understanding me, and being so understanding! I have gone to many different salons in the San antonio area (places in the quarry, north star mall, downtown, etc) and this was the best experience I've ever had.

I had an appointment at this salon where I explained to the receptionist my hair tent to go orange/ red. I also explain my hair issues to Ariel. I told Ariel I went to a previous hair salon in which they left my hair brassy ONLY but they never damaged my scalp. Even though Ariel knew all this information her main goal was to collect as much money as she could and believe me she did!! Having faith that Ariel would do a great job was the opposite of that instead my hair was worse than before and my scalp was full of sores. When I tried to complain, the “ one in charge” Clarissa, was very unprofessional and rude over the phone. Telling me “Nothing can be done” “ I should have gone to a cheaper salon” “ I’ll not get my money back” Clarissa “ apparently was talking to me from outside and she was yelling at me but Clarissa said it was windy. I left the salon very disappointed and sad because I was looking forward to good results I paid $386. The salon charged me for toner and bleach but at the end of this horrible job I paid with 0 complaints. According, to Clarissa I demanded my money back the same day and the other hair stylist heard me which it was a lie, no one was there than my kids, the hairstylist and I. I can stand people who lie. I want to let others know to be careful and not go to this salon. They mistreated me and destroyed my hair. I hope this message helps others avoid the same experience.

I initially went to this salon to get a haircut and did my appointment with Lauren. I loved how she cut my hair and styled it. I then made an appointment for hair color and I am so glad i did. She corrected my color and gave me what I asked for. Most importantly, she took great care of my hair since it always breaks when i have bleach done. She is very sweet and knowledgeable. Recommend 100%

After moving from out of state I desperately needed a new hair stylist. I didn’t have any luck until I found Lauren! She is definitely my go to girl ever since the first time! I have now gone to her to get my hair done about 3x and have also taken my daughter to her. She’s very attentive, detailed, and passionate about what she does. Her customer service is top notch, it’s always a therapy session with my service ! 😅 If you are looking for hairstylist that listens to your needs and wants and executes it to perfection then LAUREN is your girl!

I 1000% regret going to salon envy and wish I could just have my original grown out hair, money, and time back. came into the salon with the inspo picture (attached) of bright blonde with a few baby lowlights to bring dimension into the hair. Coming into this I have been a bright blonde my entire life and intended to keep that. Ariel was my stylist and basically ruined my hair by giving me the most heavy, poorly done, low lights I could imagine. My hair was dark brown and completely the opposite of the inspo picture I showed her. The manager made me pay 400 DOLLARS for this service and said that the stylist just “didn’t understand” what I was wanting…After showing her this exact photo and coming in with bright blonde hair. I was set up with a second stylist to “fix” my hair and he really did the best he could but now my hair is fried, yellow, ihas a harsh black line on both sides, AND I’m and going to have to cut it all off to basically restart my hair journey when I find a new salon. I understand things happen but things like this are really just a lack of experience and knowledge in the hair industry. I am most upset that I had to pay an obscure amount of time and spend 14 hours in a chair to have my hair RUINED. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SALON.

After some really bad experiences in the past she made me feel so much better about my hair. She is great about giving me tips to make my hair last and better ways to take care of it. I have had nothing but great experiences here! I get my hair done by Lauren and she does a great job every time, I have never left the salon disappointed on unhappy with my hair. My Stylist was Michael, I came in for a balayage and left really satisfied. I was shocked on how great he’s done. I’ve only had a balayage once before and it was good but not what I expected, however, Michael was fantastic. From reading the comments I tried to schedule an appointment with Joan but he was unavailable the day I was looking for and took the chance with Michael, so I’m leaving a review as he did great and would recommend. The four stars is only the fact that the price was way out of range than I thought, but I have a lot of hair so we had to use extra stuff that was needed and I wasn’t prepared for that. Other than that service was great. Also my before picture the weather was bad so my hair was puffy and frizzy. Price range $400-$500

This was the best experience I’ve had at a hair salon. Lauren was amazing, she had great communication! She gave me perfect layers while keeping my length. I went another time with Lauren for a blowout and it turned out beautifully! I would definitely recommend going with Lauren she will exceed your expectations

I went in today for a treatment, cut and style with Lauren and she did an amazing job on my hair !! I haven’t seen my hair this healthy in years. I've been looking for a place that could offer at the very least a semi curly haircut that wouldn't break the bank, and I think this is it. While I didn't get a diffuse dry, they did understand how to actually cut my hair, the need for a dry cut, etc. And I did still get a style done. Staff was very friendly. I did also appreciate the ease of being able to get an appointment same day on one of the few weeks days I have off. Definitely returning.
