Carmen is absolutely amazing! She puts so much time and attention into making my keratin hair extensions look flawless. Her dedication to detail is unmatched—she works tirelessly to ensure my extensions are never tangled and always blended to perfection. People constantly compliment my hair, and they’re always shocked when I tell them it’s extensions because her work looks so natural. I’m beyond grateful for her skill, care, and passion. I love this woman and can’t recommend her enough!

I received a fantastic first-time haircut from Carmen and have booked follow-up appointments. With wavy or curly hair, I have always found it challenging to find hairdressers who know how to cut my hair so it doesn’t freeze out days and weeks later. Plus, I have found that it typically takes a new hairdresser a few appointments with slight modifications each time until we can settle on a style that works well for me. Carmen nailed this first cut, and I am delighted with the outcome. I will ask Carmen to continue cutting my hair the same way. This haircut was the second-best first haircut that I’ve ever received in my life, and I am looking forward to continuing to receive haircuts from Carmen for years to come. Thank you, Carmen. As a wheelchair user, I was pleasantly surprised with how well this salon is accommodating with the layout, including a grab bar in the bathroom.

Carmen is a gem! So thankful I found her. I normally won’t let anyone touch my hair but I desperately needed a professional. I have really long, damaged, bleached hair. She was very knowledgeable and my hair feels better after one treatment. I trust her and I’m looking forward to having healthier hair.

Carmen is an amazing stylist. I had a k18 treatment and keratin treatment done + a trim. It was my first keratin treatment, so Carmen discussed all the different types and which one would be best for my hair. She cares about the integrity of the hair and she helped me come up with a plan to get my hair healthy again. My hair has never looked this beautiful!

Went to Salon Escada exactly 1 month ago and got their Global Keratin treatment, which appeared to be similar to the Brazilian Blowout, but less toxic (to my understanding). They also offered another one for finer hair, but as I have thick hair and lots of it, I chose to go with the Global Keratin. My stylist Carmen was super kind, so my rating isn't a reflection of her. That being said, I am extremely disappointed in the service as it was certainly not worth almost $400 (what I paid for the service, the extra product required for my longer hair + tip). My hair was left almost pin straight at the end of the appt, and as instructed (similar to a Brazilian blowout), I refrained from washing my hair for 3 days, and in fact gave it an extra day. However, by the 3rd day I woke up and found that my natural curls had already started to return and were making my hair wavy--*before* washing. When I finally washed and dried my hair (which at least did take less time), I did see a reduction in frizz and overall curl, but only in a very small amount, and less so in my bangs, which had been my primary area of concern. I had made sure to use shampoo and conditioner for treated hair, sulfate, phlalate etc free. I've also had other gentler, Brazilian-like kertatin treaments before, and while I know they are not *quite* as good as the orignal Brazilian blowouts, I was still very disappointed in the outcome for this particular treatment. With each wash (1-2 times a week since) my hair has gotten curlier and curlier to the point that now, 1 month later my hair is exactly back to where it started. I find it hard to justify the cost for such a minor improvement for so little time, so if you're going to consider a keratin treatment here, I'd recommend just sticking to the original Brazilian blowout (and bringing a good face/eye mask) or finding a better alterative elsewhere. Below are pictures of me with my original, natural hair before (far left, wearing the dark hoodie), then 2nd to the left is my hair on May 31st, 3 days after the treament. It's a bit hard to see, but notice that my hair is already starting to curl, *before* having washed or styling it. Second to the right was taken on June 8th, approx 10 days after treament, 2 hair washes later, and then on the far right, a picture taken of my unstyled hair this morning, 1 month after treament.

Carmen is a godsend, she came in on her day off for a keratin treatment and to fix an awful cut I had from a different salon and I can’t thank her enough! This was my first time at this salon and I will be returning for any and all future appointments. Love it!!

I’ve been getting their global keratin the BEST treatment with Carmen for over a year now, every 4 to 5 months, and my hair has looked and felt the best in ages. Its much straighter, and smoother, and frizz-free!

Angela gave me a haircut, Brazilian blow out and color and I’ve never walked out of salon so happy with my results! The effectiveness of the blowout on my curly hair is the best I’ve ever had and I’ll be back again and again!

Dane is absolutely amazing- so lucky to have found him! I have been coming to Dane for 5 years. He is patient, kind and such a great conversationalist. I've been having my hair cut by Dane for five years now. I have thin, flyaway hair and he is so skilled at cutting it that it keeps its shape between shampoos. He introduced me to products that do not irritate my scalp and tame the static. Dane also gives me the best movie recommendations!

This is Nate’s girlfriend. Nate can’t type right now because he’s busy getting complimented by everyone on his new haircut. I already loved his curls, but Carmen took them to a whole new level! She even gave him some products that’ll fit into his routine. This is the second person I’ve seen with a Carmen haircut, and I highly recommend her to everyone! Especially dudes with crazy curls.
