I have been coming to Salon Ester for over 10 years and drive from clear across town to go to Tasha for my cut and coloring. So, why the post today after all these years? It's the compliments I get on my hair - I am in that awkward season of growing out my hair - I am four months into the process- in the past i couldn't do it but Tasha is transitioning tit SO WELL I have where i have been getting compliments and questions of where I get my hair done almost every day! I has always been compliments on the cut but the fact it is still happening even in this dreaded growing out season it tells you how good she is !! Go there you won't regret it. . Tasha is amazing and the owner Raynee is wonderful. The service is great and the prices are very fair and reasonable .

Liz is true artis! For the first time in my life my hair color is just as I have always dreamt about! She is amazing, quick and so affordable! She does a great layered haircut on my crazy wavy hair too. I am moving to Floresville and will still drive to see my Liz!

We recently had a haircut in this place with the stylist Sarah. She is said to be a master in male haircuts. She messed up my son's haircut, she cut very well in the In the sides and back but she cut too much off the front and gave him something similar to baby bangs. I am very disappointed, especially for the price.

I got my hair done with Sarah, and my highlights came out awful. They clearly weren't toned properly as they are very brassy, and there are countless random patches in my hair where it's significantly lighter than the hair further down the strand - as if she just threw a bunch of bleach onto one area and forgot to carry it down or something. It makes me wonder how or why she still has her license and is able to continue doing a terrible job and messing up peoples' hair. After having spent as much time and money as I did, I'm genuinely impressed at how one could do such a bad job while also being rude and seemingly annoyed the entire time- even from the moment I entered the salon. Unfortunately now, I will have to spend even more time and money going somewhere else to get my hair fixed. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't waste your time or money - just find a better place.

Walk-in, first time there. Great location right next door to Hobby Lobby. Front desk staff was courteous and professional. Valerie was my stylist and was very friendly, took her time and paid great attention to every detail. She is clearly very knowledgable in her craft. Prices are more than reasonable. I will definitely be back and next time I’ll call ahead to schedule with Valerie.

Was able to just drop in on my lunch hour without an appointment this first visit to the salon. Valerie was going to leave but stayed to cut my hair. She did an amazing job, even with me being in a bit of a hurry. My haircut is exactly as I had described that I wanted! They are very welcoming and don’t have the “diva” attitude you can encounter at a nice salon such as this. From now on, Valerie will be my stylist. My hair looks marvelous.
