November 19, 2024 This review is a long overdue compliment to the owner and head beautician at Salon Focus. Nada consistently gives me a stunning hair dye and stylish haircut that always makes me look years younger. I especially appreciate her professionalism, hospitality, and welcoming spirit. Other salons I’ve previously been to in Auburn and King County alienated me with either their poor customer service, lack of my desired hair color, poor haircuts, hairstyles that were not suitable for my facial shape, and extremely high prices. My advice to other salons is to take cues from Nada and learn to offer a more skilled, professional, caring service if you truly want to retain customers. July 14, 2023 I had a much-needed haircut and dye today, and the haircut was spot on (Nada is a perfectionist). In this day and age, it's difficult to find a beautician who is truly an expert at haircuts. In addition, I always get lots of compliments on the color of my hair after I emerge from Salon Focus, and today was no different. Nada does a great job of blending the natural color of my hair with high -end red colorings that she has on hand (and not all salons in town have a wide variety of quality red dyes). I highly recommend this salon, the skilled owner and her daughter (both of whom are expert beauticians), and the convenient central location in Auburn. I also appreciate Nada's hospitality, which goes beyond that of other salons. Today, I had another wonderful experience at Salon Focus. The hair dye and cut were perfect for my skin tone and the shape of my face. My hair came out silky smooth and well shaped. The beautician, Nada, is professional and was ready to accommodate all of my various requests. I am very pleased with the result and honestly have never found another hairdresser that follows the same high standards. Auburn is lucky to have this salon. April 20, 2023 —————————————————————— I had a wonderful experience at Salon Focus. My deep red hair dye looks amazing and rivals the appearance of what I experienced at other salons. In addition, the haircut I was given corrected a poor one that I had received at another salon. Very professional and skilled owner. I definitely recommend their services, and I will go again. August 2022.

I am beyond upset..I had an appointment for a perm, I showed several pictures and said I wanted a spiral perm. Firstly, she put the wrong treatment in and I told her my scalp was burning and she rinsed it out and started reading package instructions…then she put another treatment in and I had to remind her that the treatment time was up and she was trying to do 2 perms at once as a ‘walk-in’ came in the middle of mine. Unprofessional !!! She claims she has been doing this for 37 years~she doesn’t know what she is doing. I had strand of hair that never got curled. I have hair breakage all over and my hair was beautiful and healthy prior. I feel ripped off and she really damaged my hair. She took a picture of the back of my hair, and you can’t see the ends and the top because she put gel in it to hide it.i also think she uses the photos to put her own reviews in without permission; you never see a face photo. Beware!!!

I came in with zero self esteem! By the time I left i was crying from happiness!! I felt beautiful for the first time in over a decade! The owner an her daughter have tons of experience, so professional, patient, kind and so much more. I will only go to this salon from this point on, when I plan my wedding I’ll have everything here!! If you want to feel gorgeous then this is the right place, I’ve never had so much attention from people, I’m so very grateful. Thanku to my angels!!!❤️

I get my eyebrows threaded here. I think it's way better than waxing. They always fit me in when I call for a last minute appointment. Stylists are very knowledgeable, nice & sweet!

I just want to say thank you so much for the excellent job you guys did on my hair and makeup, the lady did a great job changing my hair color from dark to very nice light color with no damaging my hair I was so excited after my appointment, her daughter did my makeup I love it so much , I’m highly recommend this place to everyone thank you so much again.

I’ve been going to Salon Focus since forever. They do such a excellent job :)...They are trustworthy, reasonable prices, friendly, and they treated me like family.😘 I know if I ever had an issues with any of the services that they provided. I know they’ll fix it without any problem.. I always do walk-in, last minute appointments they never turned me away. My poor hair! She insisted on flat ironing my hair which she charges $30 for that killed said hair , she didn't listen to what I wanted and made my hair so uneven, I had to tell her a few times to make it shorter and she repeated nipped my neck, overall I need a new haircut and I wasted $70!

At first, my experience here was ok. But then at the end, the owner tried to steal from us. As we were paying, I noticed she told me to press something twice on the keypad, I thought it didn't work the first time, so I did and when I got my receipt back, it said j paid 70$, when I was supposed to pay only 35$. When confronted the lady, she blamed it on me. Do not go to this business if you do not want to be robbed. Plus, my eyebrows now are in a very bad shape. Do not go here!

Great place to get your threading needs. Only thing is that the lady didnt dust off the hairs from my face after she was done. Over all I was in and out and my brows were done.

Sarah has been doing my hair for years and does a great job. She's easy to talk with and listens to what you prefer in your style and/or color. She and her mom run the shop themselves and go out of their way to make customers happy. They do lots besides just hair treatments.
