I went in to get a keratin treatment from Giulio and the results are fabulous! He did a great job and paid attention to detail. He also gave me recommendations on how to take care of my hair post this treatment and the outcome is marvelous. Really recommend this place with friendly people providing excellent services!

The service was amazing! I went to Kathleen for a haircut correction that I thought was going to be impossible to fix, and she did an incredible job bringing my hair back to life!

I would not recommend getting your haircut here. I went in for a quick cut since it is near my apartment, and what was supposed to be a quick routine cut turned into the majority of my hair getting chopped off, along with some very unflattering layers. My stylist took off over half of what I asked, and my hair was pretty long before. Now it is barely to my shoulders. Super disappointed

I’ve been searching for a hair salon I absolutely love, and I’m so happy to say I’ve finally found it! Giulio did an incredible job on my hair—he’s truly a master at his craft. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and the end result was better than I could have imagined. Everyone at the salon is welcoming, and Giulio's attention to detail and skill made the whole experience fantastic. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly knows what they’re doing and a place you can trust, I can’t recommend Salon G enough! I’ll definitely be back.

What a place! An amazing experience, they are the most wonderful people. Not only did Sandra do an amazing job and that girl gets it, but Danielle was so fun to talk with and genuinely made the experience so fun. I cannot wait to come back. Giovanni knows what he’s doing! Maryann is hilarious - they all do such great work! If you go to any other salon in rittenhouse you’re making a mistake.

Excellent! First time in the area for a black tie event over 4th of July weekend. Scheduled an updo for my long thick hair. My stylist was great, professional and undaunted by the challenge! The updo hair style complimented my gown perfectly. Beyond happy with the service, stylist and salon. I brought a photo of the beehive updo I was aiming for. With a little inspiration and lots of pins and perseverance he accomplished a feat of hair engineering! It stayed up and lasted till the next day too!

Not a pleasant experience overall for my first time at this salon. My stylist at the appointment attempted to charge MUCH more than the set price and services I asked for and that were agreed upon. I wish I had chosen another stylist for this appointment. I won’t be returning.

Great experience! G and all of his employees are extremely kind and talented stylists. I came in with extreme damage from a different salons extensions and they were able to get me in day off and fix all of my concerns. I'm so happy with the results. Will definitely be back, and thank you so much again for your help!

I really appreciated the friendly and fun atmosphere at the salon—everyone was kind and the vibe was cozy. However, my experience with hair coloring was less than ideal. I came in with very blonde hair, hoping to go to a darker blonde/light brown, but after the owner finished the job, I ended up with a grey/green tint. I attached the image of what my hair looked like, and they were going to have me *walk out of the salon like that*! After expressing my dissatisfaction, the staff tried to fix it, and while it improved, my hair still has a noticeable grayish/greenish hue weeks later instead of the light brown I requested (and showed multiple reference pictures of!). The staff was accommodating, but the color results were not what I expected. Additionally, despite clearly stating that I did not want any hair to be cut, the owner insisted, assuring me it would be a complimentary 'dusting' of about a quarter-inch. However, I was unexpectedly charged $90 for this service. The unexpected charge for a 'dusting' that I felt pressured into getting left me less than pleased. Prices are very high, but I guess that it to be expected for the location.

As out of towner, it was very easy to make a same day appointment online. On arrival, I was greeted right away, and they were very personable, friendly, and listened and asked questions to really understand what I wanted done. Hair looks great, very satisfied and ready for business meeting in the morning! Thank you Salon G!

Giulio is AMAZING!! A few months ago, I came in not knowing what to expect and left with the best haircut and highlight I have had in a very long time. The cut was superb for my type of hair and the highlights looked so natural and beautiful. I have been back many times since my first visit to Salon G Rittenhouse and I’ve never left disappointed. I love this salon! I have been getting my hair done by Giulio, the owner, for 5 years and was thrilled when he opened his own place. He is the first stylist that I truly understands what I went done and I trust. Any suggestions he gives I always end up loving and my color always turns out great!
