2nd Time Visiting this salon and seeing Ginger. Easy access off the highway, and lots of parking!! (Always nervous driving my big truck downtown because of parking - not a problem here!) Ginger is awesome at giving my hair life again. She is kind and easy to be around - thank you Ginger

I have been going to see Katie for my hair since I moved to KC 7+ years ago. I always love how my hair turns out no matter if we continue the same vivids and cut or if we decide to change things up and try something new. Katie always listens to my thoughts or ideas, or provide suggestions when I just feel like I need a change. Katie is able through her skill and experience to bring any of these to life. Would highly recommend, she is amazing.

I’ve seen Katie for years!! There’s a reason I stuck with her even with relocating. I am a brunette and we’ve highlighted, darkened, layered, trimmed, and now extensions and she’s hit the mark each time. With Katie you will NEVER feel the feeling of walking out of a salon disliking your hair. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive of you!

Hands down the BEST SALON EVER!!! After trying many salons and many stylists, I can honestly say they have been the best by far! Excellent customer service and Tiffany was fantastic! She got my dream color, it's PERFECT! I absolutely love my hair and get so many compliments. I've been telling all my friends if you want the best salon, you must come here!

I have been going to Salon Halo for over 15 years and cannot speak more highly of this place. Even while living abroad for several years, I only trusted Tiffany with my curly hair. She is an absolute expert with curly hair, color, and extensions. She goes above and beyond for her clients, all while providing top notch services and exceptional customer care. I always feel my best after leaving the salon and will never go anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have been on a hair journey, trying to let my natural curls just be! I didn’t even know about a “curl specialist “ until I came across one on TicTok, so I researched and found Salon Halo, I drove 5 hours to see Ginger Bell and she was amazing! I knew I had curly/ wavy hair but I didn’t know it was this curly! The right cut, products and tips was all I needed and got exactly that! Thank you! I will be seeing you for my next hair cut!! Before and after, pictures don’t do it justice but everyday it just gets better!

Made an online appointment for my daughter haircut on 7/29 for 8/10. I got a text from Megan Russell on the day of the appointment 8/10 letting me know she can’t make it. She said she would reschedule me and that didn’t happen. I was charged on 8/10 for a haircut that did not happen and not rescheduled. I called the salon and no answer per usual. I am very disappointed that this was not fixed and now I have to text or call to get in and if you try to reschedule online it charges you again . I need a refund!

Katie is great. She's nice, efficient, and communicates well when there are scheduling conflicts (usually on my end). My haircut is always so good that it looks good even a month after she's cut it. Can't speak for the salon in general, but everyone I've ever dealt with there has been cheerful and helpful. Also, 4.8 stars with so many reviews for a place that provides such a personal service seems really solid to me. I read through some 1 star reviews and, as usual, they are mostly just crazy people.

Heather is awesome! She is so informative, kind and good at what she does. I took my daughter to get a keratin treatment for her 13th birthday and so far the treatment has made a HUGE difference in her morning routine. It has essentially gotten rid of the frizz! We are so grateful! 😊 Posting a before picture then a picture right after treatment with blow drying and straightening and then after first wash dried naturally.

Jamie made me feel comfortable and did an excellent job microblading my brows. It was my first time doing them and I can’t wait for my touch up. The salon was cool and in the Columbus park area.

I love the way they cut the women's hair but they're miscommunication made me miss appointments. Scheduled me for 5 when I asked for 4 and didn't clarify times afterwards. Had appointment at a time that hasn't passed yet and never responded about it. Just canceled that one too. Edit: I made the appointments but only sent me confirmation for 2 out of 4. They never cleared up appointment times for the 4. What bothered me was the 3:00 appointment they never answered to. After I said before the "10" minutes they waited for me not even the 10 said before they wouldn't take any other of my appointments which I still had 30 minutes to get to my last one. Which they stopped replying to me. I've had my haircut there the last few times I had to no problems up until this time.

I would go back for a haircut but not for the full service. My hair is dry with no curl due to Ginger’s messy styling. Plus I was charged without my knowledge for unnecessary product and left with wet hair after only being there for 30 minutes into the hour I paid for.

Tomorrow marks 4 years since I became a Salon Halo customer. I have been nothing but 100% satisfied with the professional services and courtesies of the staff. Pricing is reasonable, the stylists listen to you, and the location is convenient.

Christine is the color expert!!! Years ago I switched to coloring my own hair after Redkin replaced matrix moderations with a different product that washed out after 2 shampoos, and the permanent color caused my head to itch for 5+ weeks. Salon Halo uses a premium brand and I'm getting the most awesome copper red! Plus she adds color like for a highlight (without the foil) after applying to roots to yield a more natural look. The cut is great too. Amy is oh so fast waxing and it lasts!

Ginger Bell is my go to curly hair stylist! I have tried many curly hair stylists and Ginger is by far THE BEST! She keeps my curls healthy and in shape. Her express Deva Curl cuts take less than 15 minutes🙌🏻 and my hair always looks amazing when I leave. I highly recommend Ginger and Salon Halo!

Recently got invisible beaded extensions with Tiffany. My whole Experience was exceptional! The salon is adorable, and Tiffany is extremely knowledgeable! She took the time to explain how to care for my new hair, was super sweet, friendly and easy to talk to. I was quoted about 4 hour time frame for everything and she had me in and out in about 3 hours. My extensions are gorgeous and blend seamlessly with my natural hair! I’ve received so many compliments so far. I highly recommend this salon and I finally have the hair of my dreams thanks to Tiffany!

Wow. I’ve had enough bad haircut experiences and after moving 6 hours away from my stylist, for a long time I just didn’t want to get a haircut. I made myself schedule an appointment and I’m so glad I did. Tiffany’s ability to take layers off WITHOUT sacrificing my length is a gift. I’ve had haircuts where the layers get cut and my hair/length is gone afterwards, but not this one. Also gave me tips to style my annoying cowlicks. Very grateful and will be back!

Yesterday I went to Amy for the first time, and my experience was wonderful! She was great to talk to the entire time, very sweet and knowledgeable. I have very curly hair and I wanted a pretty drastic change, and I loved that she made sure I was absolutely sure before going forward. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Amy really knows what she’s doing, especially with curls and I will definitely be returning!

Hanna F. At Salon Halo is WONDERFUL. After making the move to KC I was nervous to go to someone new. She welcomed me with open arms! I have only had two people color my hair routinely and have NEVER loved it as much as I did after Hanna touched it up for me. Cried happy tears looking in the car mirror after my appointment. Will forever be traveling to her no matter where I live. The salon as a whole gives the best vibes.

Highly would recommend Hanna. She did a fantastic job at my extensions and blonde coloring. I got 22 inch extensions and they blend perfectly in my hair. She went above and beyond and sent me home with a goodie bag full of items to use for my extensions and proper instructions on how to take care of them!! I am so happy I found this salon and Hanna for the future. Thank you !

I cannot express how much I have loved Hanna Franklin at Salon Halo. From the moment I first sat in her chair, I felt like I was in expert hands. I have always been extremely particular about my blonde hair, so I had high expectations when I moved to KC and needed to find a new salon. Salon Halo always has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and Hanna has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness-- which is SO hard to find. Hannah it talented, patient, and genuinely just a cool girl lol. I wholeheartedly recommend Hanna for any salon service!
