I am so happy I found Salon Halo - the search is over for the optimal hair salon experience. The staff is so welcoming and makes a true effort to make each client feel valued and comfortable from the moment you walk in. Jackie is an angel and is so talented in her craft, she is a joy to work with and putting my full trust in her was easy. Her helpful knowledge about hair cutting and hair care has improved my hair routine so much. The environment is clean and relaxing, especially in the hair wash room. 10/10 recommend!

Phenomenal overall experience with shout out to Kelsey for an excellent job fixing my hair. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and went out of the way to ensure I was comfortable. I loved the back room experience with the wash bowls. Very serene and comfortable

Halo Salon was absolutely a 10/10 experience from the moment I stepped through the door! Kelsey made sure to walk me through every step of the journey and made me feel at home. She gave me the most perfect “old money” blond & a perfect blowout! She truly is my blond fairy godmother. The salon was so beautiful & extremely clean. The front desk was so helpful and kind! Can’t wait to come back

Jessie was phenomenal! It’s been years since I’ve professionally gotten my hair done and she made it the best experience. She took her time and asked me questions throughout the process so she best understood what I wanted! She did a beautiful job with my cut and dye, I couldn’t be happier, will definitely be going back to see her! Definitely recommend!

It was my birthday and Trissa did a blowout for me that was amazing! The entire experience from start to finish was so relaxing and I loved my hair! The shampoo bowl was like a spa complete with warm towel. My hair looked brand new and felt silky soft! I walked around outside all day, slept on it, and took a nap the next day and my hair still looked amazing through all of it! Thanks Trissa!

Luis is AMAZING! I found him as I recently relocated to Tampa and needed someone to cut my hair and also do my keratin treatment! He did both within weeks apart and both have been phenomenal! The keratin was perfect. The last time I had it done, it barely worked… this time with Luis, it was perfect and I love the results! I am so picky with my haircuts and he NAILED IT. It looks beautiful. 100/10! This salon is amazing, they all are so nice and friendly. I will definitely keep coming back!

Every experience I’ve had at salon halo is amazing, but Sam at the South Tampa location is the bomb! Not only does she have a stellar personality, but she truly knows how to work magic! I came in requesting a dimensional brunette look and trusted her judgement on my cut and specifics of my balayage - no regrets! I feel so confident and am obsessed with my new look!

I had the pleasure of having Simone do my hair and she was absolutely incredible!!! Not only was the color exactly what I wanted, but she made the entire experience incredible. From the consultation, the lather lounge, to the styling, it felt like I was at a spa. 100% recommend this place for everyone! I also just moved to Tampa from Texas in March and have been coloring my hair on and off for a few years and have never been more happy with my results/experience with any other salon!

I recently got a haircut, and the girls who took care of me were absolutely fantastic. Not only did they give me an amazing haircut, but they also made the entire experience comfortable and uplifting. They really helped me through, taking the time to listen and ensure I was happy with every detail. Their kindness, professionalism, and talent made all the difference. Jacqueline is AH-MAY-ZING! It is obvious that she has a passion for styling/blowouts/braids as she treats it like a true art :) She listens to make sure you are satisfied and happy. Jacqueline never rushes you and you walk out of the salon with a beautiful style after the most relaxing scalp massage! The salon is welcoming and inviting! I have followed Jacqueline from another location because she is the best! Go see her!

I went into get a consult and I sat there for an hour to do color testing on my hair. They scheduled my appointment with Tiffany , which was confirmed by the manager Trevor. I got a call days before my appointment, By Trevor Which is the manager Saying they have to cancel my appointment because the day they picked they don’t feel comfortable with. I said OK when is your next appointment and they said the next one wouldn’t be until August. Very unprofessional, I would pick better management

Absolutely amazing experience at this salon!! The salon itself was very clean and tidy. I went in for an all over color change, Sam was my stylist and she did an amazing job. She took the time to make sure everything was perfect! I am incredibly happy with how my hair turned out thank you!🥰

I don’t normally review places, but Salon Halo deserves a MAJOR shoutout! I went in for a haircut as a first-time client and there was a mixup on their end with the scheduling time/stylist I was supposed to see. They went above and beyond to remedy the situation and took great care of me—and Angela did an AMAZING job on my hair! I would give them 10 stars if I could—I will absolutely be back!

Had a very bizarre experience at this salon, which had been recommended to me very highly. I was scheduled for a color and cut at 5:30, which I thought a bit odd, as this is something that usually takes several hours, but I just assumed since they are professionals they would be able to do it quickly. My boyfriend went with me, as they said they could give him a trim while my color was processing. Let me just say, I have never been in so much pain from having my hair done. The color was excruciating, even the wash was painful. The whole thing felt very rushed, and I was informed that there would not be time to blow out and style my hair, which I wouldn't have wanted anyway because the cut was so painful. I have had this same hair my entire life and have never had a painful color and cut, it felt like my hair was being ripped out. I had a headache for hours after I left. It was so bad she was unable to finish my haircut. Then when we went to cash out, I was astonished that it was $380. For an unfinished haircut and no styling, basically I paid over $400 after tip for a color, no foil or bleach, just color. Once we got in the car my boyfriend said he felt weird about his haircut as well, like she was rushing and it was uneven. I understand it was late in the day and people have things to do, but if you are charging these kind of prices, I expect more professionalism, and not to have my hair ripped out of my head because they are in a rush. I have had my hair done there before, so it shouldn't have been a terrible surprise that I have long, thick hair. I gave two stars because the color is lovely, otherwise the whole situation was really pretty traumatic. Now we're going to a wedding this weekend and we both feel weird about our haircuts and mine wasn't styled. Their prices are really insane, even if everything had gone perfectly. Edited to add: I just want to save other people from pain. You can look at my profile, I almost never leave anything negative. As you can see below the salon is blaming me for being too "tender-headed," however, I've never had a service remotely this painful, and even the assistant who came to help was not hurting me.

Very sad experience at Halo on Henderson. Luis has been cutting my hair for 8+ years to my great satisfaction! At my last appointment on July 13, I was told by the receptionist that a future appointment could not be made unless a credit card was on file which I refused to do, having never been a “no show”. I called last week to make an appointment and was told by the same receptionist that I’d have to pay a deposit which is the full cost of a haircut before an appointment could be made. I encouraged her to speak with Luis about my client history. She said that this was salon policy and he did not make policy. Alas, I am transitioning to a new salon. I’ll miss Luis. He does a fantastic job.
