Shane gave me what may be my favorite haircut ever. They took such time and care to understand what I wanted, and make sure it’s what I walked out with. The cut is simple and yet so styleable, and every detail shows such care. Plus we had a great time chatting all the way through, and got great styling tips. One of the best hair stylists in the bay, Shane is always very welcoming and does amazing, nothing really bad about this hair salon, I would highly recommend to anyone trying someone new out, I say try this salon out :)

Shane’s body of knowledge and expertise are unmatched. I have some greys that I’m not ready to embrace just quite yet. I have never had anyone get my hair color so spot on. Big bonus or maybe the most important part.. Shane is so kind, and has a sweet pup willing to cuddle on your lap :).

This was the second time I received a haircut from this place. He hit his dog in front of me, a customer, for very minor misbehaving and then shoved his dog while on the dog bed with his leg into what I assume it was a dark closet for the remainder of my haircut. I felt very uncomfortable, and I will not be returning.

My teenage son and I have been going to Shane for almost a year. He listens but won't hesitate to tell you what will and won't work with your specific hair texture and will guide you towards a hairstyle that works for you. He is meticulous and brings his years of experience and artistry to each session, whether it's a trim or something more involved. Besides being a talented hair stylist and barber, he's kind and very funny. His plant-filled salon is a lovely oasis in the Portola.

Best haircut I've had in years! Shane is truly understands his craft and uses all natural products as well. He's also super easy to talk to and open to answer any questions. He checks in throughout the appointment to make sure you're happy and getting what you came in for. Very glad I found him, will definitely come back!

I’ve been to Shane twice now and each time has been an genuine fun appointment. His attention to detail is incredible and he wants to make sure the cut you get works for you and is what you want. Shane never disappoints. He did a keratin treatment on my hair which lasts up to 6 months. It makes my hair easy to manage and soft to the touch. Salon Inclusion is the place to go for all your hair needs.

What can I say, Shane is AMAZING! I was a year overdue for a haircut, and also wanted a color job done. After a consult, we decided with ash beige balayage, and a shoulder-length cut. He did a fantastic job, I love it! Shane made sure he understood what I had in mind, and his work speaks for itself. I live in the neighborhood and have been eyeing Salon Inclusion since it opened. I finally went there, and I'm so very glad I did. The salon's name is a fitting description of my experience there. Highly recommend; book a service with confidence!
