I had given up on finding a stylist I wanted to stick with… until, on a whim, I scheduled with Melani for a pre-job interview cut. The cut was perfect (and I got the job)! Then, a few months later, I came back and she fixed a disastrous at-home dye situation (bright red direct color!). I went back again for a touch up and a brow wax and tint, and it was so perfect I’ve kept going back ever since. Melani has an eye for nuance in color like nobody else I’ve ever met, and she’s the only person who has ever been willing and able to cut down some of the puffy volume in my hair. She is honestly the best-kept secret in the STL beauty world, and I’m SO happy she’s my stylist!

This review is months overdue. My first and so far only appointment was in Feb (2024) with the owner, Melani. She is the kindest, most attentive and wonderful hair magician I have ever had (And I do mean she worked absolute magic on my hair!). I had a monster tangle that quickly and rapidly took over my long hair. I was down and defeated when I came to Melani (after being turned away/embarrassed by other places) and not only did she get past the monster in my hair, but she left me with a cut/style that I could still work with, that didn’t completely change how I feel about myself. In fact, I have never gotten so many hair compliments in my life as I did in those following weeks! She spent 6 hours with me, and charged me surprisingly less than what I expected. My before/after photo doesn’t do it justice, but at least you can see what a mess I was lol. I will never go to any other salon.

Arjana from Shrewsbury supercuts is now here! She is the best. She does my beard trim biweekly and cuts both of my daughters hair. She is so nice and so talented I wish I could click on the 6th star.

I followed Arjana to Salon Inertia. I had found her by accident at a Supercuts in Shrewsbury. First, I loves the asslons atmosphere. Loads of plants! Very clean as well. Arjana has always given me perfect cuts and took her time initially familiarizing herself with how my hair grew and the end result has always been been magic. The last cut was another change in style. She gave me the best haircut I have ever had! Extremely flattering to my face! Everyone loves it including me (That is huge!) I won't go to anyone but her because I trust her implicitly. She is a true "Hair Whisperer" in my book. Exceptional!

I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit. Katie did a great job coloring my hair! She took the time to explain the process on what to expect, and she was very friendly and informative. I had no idea that a partial Keratin treatment would make such a difference! My hair now looks healthier and I received many compliments on my new highlights. I think I found my new hair stylist! Highly recommend.

I have really loved this place, you can tell Melani has a lot of experience doing this from the moment you sit on that chair, also she is a very kind, professional and fun person, will make you laugh the whole time! I appreciate her work even more after I took my mom who has VERY curly difficult hair and she did magic, with the cut and the style!
