First time I’ve ever just walked out of hair salon with no service. I arrived to my scheduled appointment and was taken back 15 mins late. My stylist Jessica did not meet expectations. First thing I disclosed was I was cutting my hair for charity and wanting to go short (think pixie). I showed multiple inspo photos via Pinterest and asked her what would look best. She very dodgy with anything I wanted or stating she wouldn’t have time for it. Then when I asked if she felt comfortable with the cut and styles I was showing, she looked at me like I had asked the most stupid question ever. All in all the experience was very weird, disheartening, and honestly frustrating. I will not be back in this salon.

I booked my first appointment at this salon!They have a policy if you cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance you pay for half of your service if you cancel that day you pay for your entire service! Well they called me to hours in advance and canceled my appointment the day of! I understand people get sick but they should of been able to provide me with another stylist to do my hair because if I would of canceled day of I would of been required to pay for a service I didn't recieve .my time is just as precious as their's! They really need to change their policy! I will never make another appointment there!

I went there today for the first time. I was greeted very warmly as soon as I walked in. Emily F. listened to the issues I was having from my last haircut and did a really great job making my hair look and feel better. I'm happy to have found her!

The best salon! Great environment. And even better people! It’s hard to find a good stylist but after just one visit I would 200% go back to see Chloe and recommend everyone to run not walk there right now.

We had the pleasure of having Bethany as my daughter’s stylist today. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter left the salon with exactly what she wanted! Bethany also gave styling tips as well as what products will work best for her hair texture and style. I think we found our new favorite hair salon. Thank you so much Bethany!

I absolutely love coming here to have my hair done. I've had multiple stylists trim and shape my hair, and this was *the* place I chose when I finally did the big chop. Everyone is really friendly, the salon is very clean, and I love that their drink menu has the standard wine, coffee, and tea in addition to some lovely mocktails. What really sets Salon Inspire apart from other salons the option of a Non-Binary haircut (what I choose every time!).

I took my daughter here to get her hair colored and the coloring didn’t come out right. She called them and they had her come back up there to fix it and then they charged her again. I definitely will not be going back to this place.

Hi, Its not professional to not have hot water. Its also not professional to let customers know before they come to their appointements. I do not like cold water , I came in to relax and have multiple treatments to my hair, I do not need cold water in 20 degrees weather. Im a regular client and if this happens again, I will not be coming back. Please fix this issue so we can enjoy our appointments! This is really not nice… Thank you!

I missed my messages that my regular stylist was out sick, but they worked with me and got me in with Jess. Jess was super sweet and did a great job with my cut and style. She was talkative and made me feel comfortable.

I recently sent my daughter to this salon for a balayage and haircut, and I was disappointed by the lack of transparency. It was clear that they saw a young person coming, and unfortunately, they didn’t take the time to discuss pricing beforehand. She ended up with a bill over $250, which was a shock, especially since the cost was never communicated before the service started. I’ve been to salons with much more experience, even in areas like Prairie Village, and never paid this without the letting me know. My advice to anyone considering this salon: make sure to ask for an exact price quote before agreeing to any services.

Went in for a balayage and it did not look anything like my inspo, so I went back in to get it lightened more complimentary from the same stylist. She turned my hair orange, so they agreed to let me come back the following day to get it fixed by a different stylist for free. I spent 10 hours in the salon that week and over $350. The new stylist was great and did what she could to correct the orange and it looked way better when I left. What no one told me was that it was basically a temporary fix and, in a few weeks and after a few washes, it would look orange and splotchy again. I tried some blue and purple shampoo over the next few weeks at home, hoping that would help. It still looked terrible, so I called back the salon and asked if they would be willing to fix it or give me a partial refund so I can get a color correction elsewhere. The manager confirmed that my appointment with the second stylist was not to get me to my goal, but basically just to make my hair look presentable. They said they could only offer me a free hair treatment when I come back in and pay them more money to remove the orange. Had they been transparent in the beginning that their intention was just to make it look ok and not get me to my goal, I would’ve asked for a refund after they turned my hair orange and went somewhere else. *pics included in different lighting of what my hair looks like now.

I just got my haircut by Lauren and she did an incredible job!!! I showed her a photo to give her an idea of what I was going for and she made my hair look just like it! She also styled after the cut and I LOVED IT!!! I can’t wait to have her work her magic again on my hair!

I was very disappointed that they up charged me for several things that I didn’t even know I was getting, nor was I asked if I wanted them (toner, regular color, opalex conditioner, etc). I came in for a $141 highlight and left with a $300 bill. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this salon. If you dare go here, MAKE SURE you ask them what they’re doing with every step because they won’t tell you or ask, they’ll just do it!

My 8 year old is insisting I leave Hope a 5 star review for her hair cut and bangs. Hope was very patient, kind, and took her time even though it was only a child’s cut. My daughter felt very pampered.

The money doesn't matter, the important thing is the result, I sent my daughter and wife to touch up her hair color December 27th. I spent around $500 from 11am to around 6pm. Expectation verses reality, "two egg heads when I went to pick them up" If you have seen the chuky movie you will understand. I really didn't like it but, we were more embarrassed to tell them, please recommend me to a place where they can fix it their hair

Chloe did a great job at making me feel comfortable. She did awesome on my hair. I haven't had a haircut in over 10 years so I was well overdue. I'm loving the results!

I booked my appointment last minute with Jessica. My hair is very thick and heavy. She helped me a much needed hair cut with some face framing and razor layers. She was patient and so helpful with tips. Amazing atmosphere. Definitely will return. I will include a before pic at the end

I had a women’s haircut with Jess. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30 but the salon called me at noon before my appointment to let me know she was running 15 minutes late. When I got there at 12:45 she was still with her previous client. I had to wait until closer to 1:00. Despite this Jess did a really nice job cutting my hair. It had been close to a year since my last cut and I had a lot of regrowth from postpartum hair loss. My hair looks amazing and it was a great way to get back to myself again after having a baby. I will be returning to this salon for another haircut.

Jess B was so sweet and very communicative during every part of my balayage and haircut appointment this evening. After looking at my inspo photos together, she described what she was seeing in the photos and asked which parts I liked about each to make sure we were on the same page before starting. It turned out so well blended and very natural-looking which is just what I wanted. Same communicative process through the haircut as well. The salon was also very nice, with several little extra touches like a fresh seasonal drink and warm mint-infused towels during the hair washing stage. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone I know. Thank you Jess!

Lily was great! My daughter had been going to a different salon and wasn't happy about having to try a new place (due to availability). After we left, she was so happy with the work Lily did that she said she only wants to go back to Salon Inspire!
