I am still in shock. Overpriced place! My hair is hardly touches my shoulders and I paid $265 for highlights and a blow dry without styling. Twice the price of any place I’ve been in SA and New York

I had a wonderful experience. It is such a welcoming and uplifting environment. I never splurge on myself and I live modestly, ( I cut my own hair) I was nervous about being judged or looked down on as other salons I have been to are usually cold and make me feel unwelcomed, but this place is so kind.

KAT IS AN ANGEL. First and foremost I just want to talk about her overall vibe. She was so kind thoughtful and intuitive – she was very easy to open up to and talk to which made the hair appointment that much better! I was super nervous to cut my hair the first time around because I have curly hair and have honestly never been anywhere where they know what they were doing with curly hair until I met Kat. I put all my trust in her and I loved the results! After my cut, my hair has gotten so much healthier and it grows much faster. She’s extremely talented at what she does!!! Another fantastic visit with Michelle. I was looking for a light blond color to blend with the white color showing up as I'm Aging. Perfect result! In addition, I have very fine hair. Michelle worked her magic with texturizing my below chin frizzy mess into a young looking stacked Bob. She's very easy to talk to and very informative concerning questions with color or cut.

I had been going to this salon for a little over a year. I would visit about every 6-9 weeks to maintain my hair color and cuts. I always had a good experience and even supported them during COVID shutdown by buying products and custom color to touch up on my own at home. My visit in January 2021 was my last because I had a 12:30 appt and called at 12:24 to check in. The receptionist said my stylist was finishing up another client and would call me shortly. By 12:45 I called back and the receptionist said “oh come on in”, after I told her no one called me after 20 minutes of waiting. She told me where to sit and about 10 minutes later, the stylist finished her other customer and was able To tend to me, but that also meant she didn’t start until 1:00 nor did she apologize for the wait. I really needed my hair done otherwise I would’ve left. I originally wanted a balayage retouch, cut and style, but at this point, i didn’t think it was worthwhile to spend that much and just asked her to touch up my roots, cut and style. The end result was ok, until I got in the car and drove down the street when I noticed in my mirror all the hair dye left on my hairline. When I brought this to the owner’s attention, she apologized but never responded to her request for me to tell her how to “make it right”. Needless to say I went somewhere else (Aveda salon) and had a great experience there!

I was recommended by my co-workers to come here. Immediately felt welcomed, greeted as soon as I entered, staff is amazing, respectful and friendly. My hair stylist Hannah did an amazing job on my hair! I've never done this color before, and it came out exactly how I wanted it! I highly recommend this place!

They use cheap hair color but charge for expensive hair color prices. I’m willing to pay but I want the color I paid for. Go somewhere else

I miss when Neyssa used to work here, she was bad***! When I bring my brother in to get his hair done, it’s always done right and exactly how he envisioned it even if he couldn’t get out what he was trying to say. Lol

I never write reviews, but I feel like this one is needed. I have gone to this salon multiple times and have spent well over $1,000 here not including products. Let’s start off with the layout of the salon. The layout is awful. You walk in to go to the left then to be lead to the right. If you’re getting your hair colored or highlighted you are sat at these four chairs that awkwardly face each other WITHOUT A MIRROR to see where your stylist is putting highlights/color! I feel like this would have fixed a lot of what I am about to address. I get they probably did it so you can process while they cut other people’s hair, but think about it from a client’s stand point. You seriously have no where to look other than to look awkwardly at the people across from you. Let’s move on. I got my hair done very recently and my stylist did not listen to a single word I said or cared to hear what I had to say. I have highlights on the left side of my head and not the right (when I know I paid almost $300 for my highlights to be even!). I have lines of where the bleach was against my roots like it was slapped carelessly on my head when this has NEVER happened before. This isn’t my first rodeo to highlights/bleach. I told my stylist about four different times that I wanted bangs, guess what I walked out without, BANGS! She would have had to do the bleach how I wanted it to began with but I couldn’t see what she was doing because of the layout of the salon. I have a block of hair on the right side of my head where I’m assuming she tried to do a layer?! I’m not sure. No layers on the left side either. I also asked multiple times for it to be texturized. I also failed to receive that. She didn’t section off my hair during the cutting of it. She was also extremely distracted with her phone the whole time. Before I could even remind her of the cut I wanted she walked away getting products to blow dry. What made it worse is the owner kept walking by saying “how pretty”. How are lines and a messed up cut pretty?!?!?! Tell her something! Do something! THEN, the best part. My hair blondes extremely easily, they wanted pictures to post on their social media promoting their “work”. Trust me, you wouldn’t want what I have. Non the less, I have had worse cuts from fantastic sams with paying a fraction of the price. You will not see me back at this salon and that’s a shame for them. Everyday I find new things that were so easily missed but yet so visible. I also have photos for proof and my inspiration photos that were totally ignored. I could go on but I’ll leave it there. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Like the decor & could spend an hour having my hair washed at their bench sinks! 😆 They seem to take all the precautions with taking temperatures as clients enter, all wearing face masks, etc.

I LOVE this place. I have never had anything done to my hair (not even dyed or straightened it), but i wanted single end crochet dreadlock extensions put in (I bought them on amazon). No other hair salon would out them in. They heard the word "dreadlocks" and said no... the ladies at Intrigue looked at what I wanted to do, and they agreed to try it! They teamed up on my head to put in the fake dreadlocks. I showed them one, and they just took off. Such awesome ladies! Jazzy and Kayla worked on my head and did an AMAZING job! They were so sweet and excited about trying new things. I highly recommend this place, especially if you have something new you want to try.

I can't say that everything about my visit was horrible because it wasn't, however I am really disappointed with the service I received vs the amount I was charged. I arrived 10 mins early for an appointment that should have NOT taken 4 hours as I wasn't being styled. The stylist was sweet and everything was going great until someone else arrived for a service. Due to improper staffing and NOT poor customer service I hope, I sat for about 45 mins while the woman next to me received a hair cut and style. I was thanked a number of times for my patients, which by this point I had already ran out of. In the sun I now realize some parts of my should have been highlights are ORANGE. It also doesn't look good that as a company you all only seem to thank those that leave positive reviews when it's the negative ones that reflect what needs to be corrected. Because I'm not rude, I didn't display any distaste I simply used it as a lesson learned and will most likely not be returning. $145 wasted for a service I now have to have corrected.. Signed, A very disappointed client.

Just wanted to shAre my review with everyone. This is my 1st time to this salon. Hannah was the one who did my hair. And I must say I’ve never been so happy. I never had done anything different with my hair so I was nervous but so excited going in for this. Not only am I amazed and obsessed with my hair. I’m so pleased with my time there. Everyone was so friendly. I was the first appt of the day at the opening time of the salon and everyone was just so friendly in the morning you can tell everyone is so passionate about what they do they are not just here to take your money I’m so happy I now found my hair artist which is Hannah Thank you so much. From second I walked out of the salon I was getting compliments on my hair!!!! Thank you to everyone there for being so friendly and welcoming and making my experience the best!!!
