Raven at Salon Intrinsic is amazing! 💇‍♀️💗 I’ve gone to this salon a few times now and I’m just so happy I found her place as I had been searching for a new hair stylist in Austin for a while. Her hair artistry is excellent and she does a great job of realizing the vision you give her. She’s also very friendly and personable too. I always enjoy sitting in her chair. The salon itself is small but mighty; it’s nicely decorated and has a very calming vibe. I highly recommend her and Salon Intrinsic!

My almost 12 year old wanted to get her first haircut at a REAL salon. Raven took excellent care of her and gave her the Wolfe cut of her dreams!! Raven also gave her lessons on how to style thick, wavy hair and she gave a haircut that makes brushing earlier. Huge thank you to Raven and team for pampering my daughter and making her feel like a queen! ❤️

I highly recommend Raven's services to anyone! She always makes me feel comfortable and knows how to handle my really thick curly long hair. I can't say that about a lot of people so really she's the only person I trust to care for my hair. She's such a warm personality and I always leave feeling and looking better than I did when I walked in!

I am a guy with curly, wavy hair and good haircuts have been elusive to me for most of my life. Raven is the best. First off she understands the science behind hair, different hair types, your skin, and the products she recommends. Guys don’t get much education on taking care of their hair and scalp so it’s been a big step up for me. Combine that with being great at cutting hair and its worth every penny. Doesn’t hurt that she is a wonderful, kind, fun person to talk to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great salon.

Raven is literally the best hair stylist/professional/aesthetician/beautifier I’ve ever known. I love my haircut and color. She can translate my non-hair vocabulary into exactly the style and color that I want. Her apprentice also amazingly and caringly combed out my daughter’s hair, which had become extremely tangled. She not only got it entirely combed out, Raven cut and colored my daughter’s hair in a style that my daughter had in mind and loves her hairdo. It was beautiful to see that transformation completely facilitated by Raven and her apprentice. I moved out of the state, and when I come back to visit, Raven is on my short list of professionals with whom I have an appointment.

Raven is the best! She's been doing my hair for the last couple of years since she opened and always knows exactly what my hair needs. I know I will leave her salon feeling refreshed and beautiful, and I always get so many compliments from my friends afterward. She spoils me everytime she styles my hair. Too bad I can't get it like how she does it, even when she tries to teach me repeatedly lol. Side note: It's a perk I can support small business!

Absolutely love Raven. She is so personable and bubbly! She takes her time to evaluate your hair type and the way that it flows so that the cut fits you and your lifestyle well - which I always fail to consider. I personally need a hairstyle that doesn't require any work in the morning but can also be styled well for special occasions. Raven knocked it out of the park with my haircut. I have medium/fine hair but A LOT of it and I hate sitting for haircuts because they always take at least 2 hours. I shared this concern with Raven and she worked super efficiently to ensure that I wouldn't leave with back pain! I took a styling lesson with her which I highly recommend for anyone who wants to master doing their own hair! You bring your own tools so that you get comfortable using them, and she teaches you how to get the most out of your hot tools and accessories. After an hour with Raven, I learned what products work well for my hair and how to make my curls hold which I've struggled with forever. Raven will recommend products to you but she'll never make you feel forced into buying super expensive high end products (like I've experienced at other salons).

Raven was so funny and nice and taught me how to achieve different textures with my hair. She's also a genius who's very familiar with the technical side of her work. Not only did I get a great cut, but for the first time ever I feel excited to experiment and try different styles at home!
