Salon Ivan is such a gift to our city, and I have never been more satisfied with a haircut in my entire life! Ivan brings professionalism, kindness, and true understanding to the curly-headed experience! I can’t recommend Ivan enough, and I am so glad I finally found what I’ve been needing for years! Ivan is such a sweetheart. I know other curly girls out there can relate… going to a new stylist for the first time can be terrifying! (I once had someone cut my hair for 4 HOURS! Each time they went back through to fix their mistakes it just got shorter… and shorter… and shorter 😬 🤮) But sitting in Ivan’s chair for the first time I was completely at ease. He is thoughtful in all he does and truly listens to you. His approach to hair is that of love and understanding. 🌈 Through him I’ve learned to embrace the wild energy my hair brings to my life. He. Is. A. Magician! All the curly heads in my household see him. If you’re curly and unsure if you should give it a go, do yourself (AND your curls) a favor by taking the leap. You won’t regret it!!

I can't recommend Ivan enough! As someone with a difficult curly hair, it's always been hard to find someone who truly understands how to cut and style my curls. Ivan has nailed it every time. From the moment I sat in his chair, I felt completely at ease—he listened to my concerns, offered thoughtful suggestions, and he is a wonderful conversationalist. He has not only taught me how to take care of my hair, but also how to love it. Highly recommend him to anyone with curly hair!

It’s been less than one week since I got my hair cut (&washed) at Salon Ivan. I have received more complements on my hair in the past 5 days than I have in the ENTIRE year before getting my cut. I asked for something not too trendy, and was granted something timeless & worth well beyond what I paid in my opinion. To all my girls with curls out there, if you want it done right you’ll get it done here! You’ll be in good hands whoever may be reading this, and you definitely haven’t seen the last of me Ivan! 🩷✂️💗

Very positive welcoming environment. Ivan was easy to talk with. Curly hair cut is looking great! Started with a dry cut then a wash and a blow-dry. Scheduling an appointment was easy, would definitely schedule a haircut here again.

Ivan was amazing! I have never seen my curls look so amazing. He gave me so many helpful tips and explained the process so well. Not to mention he had such a welcoming environment and such an easy to talk to personality. Will definitely go back again!

Ivan is THE BEST! A lot of curly cuts I have gotten in the past focus on just cutting to release the curl, but don't give you a style that is in fashion. Ivan cut my hair in such a stylish way, and made my curls pop! I will go nowhere else in the Springs for my curls.

Ivan was AMAZING. He literally brought life back to my curls. I got a couple inches chopped as well as texture added with slight layers and face framing and he absolutely nailed it. Super professional and kind and he walked me through legitimately every step of the process. Will definitely be coming back to him cause wow! My curls have literally never looked better.

Ivan was amazing with my daughter! She has always hated her curls. I have always tried to convince her how amazing her curls are! Ivan didn't just cut and style her hair, but chatted and carried on conversations with her...all the while teaching her hair tips and complimenting her hair. I spent years - YEARS - of my life dreading haircuts because I assumed that for curly hair, it was always going to be a crapshoot. "Who knows how long my hair will be when this is over? Gee, I wonder what shape it will take afterward?" I kind of just assumed that's how haircuts worked. I don't mean to be overdramatic, but finding Salon Ivan was almost life-changing. For the first time in my life, I came out of a haircut appointment enthusiastic about my hair and feeling I looked good! Ivan truly gets curly hair, and what's more - he'll take the time to explain to you, so you can embrace and take care of your curls. I moved out of state for a year and literally waited till I was back for a visit to get a haircut - because now I just can't imagine letting anyone else style it! Ivan has been cutting and coloring my hair since I moved here, and has done an excellent job! He is the best with curly hair and red / auburn coloring, which is a tough combination to find. Olivia did my hair for my wedding and I loved the way it turned out. I was able to wear my hair naturally curly and all of my bridesmaids looked beautiful. They brought in pictures for her to go off of and she did every style wonderfully, without knowing what she would be doing on them until the day of the wedding. I highly recommend Salon Ivan!
