Rachelle has been doing my hair for almost 10 years. I get it highlighted and cut, and she does an amazing job. I recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a stylist! The salon’s website hasn’t been working right, so I schedule her through the Vigaro app.

I've thought really hard about whether or not to write this or not as I generally don't like to leave a negative review. However, I do think my experience is worth sharing. I had a really lovely haircut here a couple months ago. I have really thin, wavy hair that I hadn't done anything with in over a year and was ready for a change. I had decided to add bangs, which I was nervous about, but the stylist did an excellent job and I loved them. I thought that I had found a new salon/stylist which made me very happy. The problem occurred when I went back for a bang trim recently. I saw the same stylist, she didn't remember me, which would have been ok as I'd only been in the one time. However, I expected to walk out with the same bangs I walked in with just tidied up seeing as how it was the same stylist who cut them in the first place. Sadly, I walked out with completely different, and very unflattering, bangs. I've been trying to live with them since and tell myself it's just hair and they'll grow out which IS true....unfortunately that doesn't change the fact that until they do I'm stuck with very unflattering bangs. I hope everyone else has a much better experience. That said I'm pretty unhappy with how this experience turned out and won't be returning to Salon Julian.

Limits on number of people, face masks required at all times, each station cleaned with disinfectant between clients, lots of hand sanitizer around, etc. Very good at keeping all safe and welcoming.

I made an appointment on a Tuesday for a blow out and flat iron Friday afternoon. I have MD and it’s hard for me to left my hands above my head to dry and style my hair. I had a work trip coming up and I wanted it to look nice. I got a text on Wednesday saying that that stylist had something come up and if I could change times/stylist. I could move my day around so I agreed to Friday at 12:15. Friday at 11:15 I got a text saying that stylist had something come up and they were trying to get someone else to come in. Which they could not. And now I don’t have time to go someplace else. Seriously people. This should not be this hard. And if it is, DON’T OPEN YOUR BOOKS!!!!
