I had a great experience. His prices are reasonable, his salon is clean and he is a competent and professional hair stylist. I showed him what I wanted and he gave me exactly that! (Very efficiently and quick too ) I had long hair down to my waist and I wanted the split ends cut plus wolf cut bangs.... the result was super cute! Any modifications I asked for, he listened to them. I'm glad I didn't end up going to this other salon that would charge me $200 for the same haircut lol. I found him on the internet and decided to book because of his previous reviewers describing his no frills service which is what I want in a stylist. I don't want to hear a whole spiel, be upsold all these products or all the razzle dazzle, or be subject to the drama that occurs in salons, I just want my hair cut by someone who knows what they're doing. That is why I like Khang's vibe. If you like straightforward hair service, you will too ! If I was still into coloring my hair, I would still go to this guy. I will recommend my husband to go here too. His salon is a gem in San Carlos plaza. 👍

So happy to have found Khang and Khang Salon!! Wow, very polite and skilled professional. Was debating a bob cut but wanted to try out layers on my long hair before committing to short, so i asked for layers and it came out PERFECT, so pretty and clean 😍😍😍

I came to Khang to fix a bob gone wrong and am so glad I did. Khang is careful and efficient. He listens to what you want but also will give you advice on what will look best. Overall really happy with the skill and value of Salon Khang and will definitely be back!

My friend recommended Salon Khang and I got in touch with Mr Khang immediately over text who was able to accommodate me the next day for a good hair color appointment. The vibe of the place was simple, quiet, very clean and efficient. He was very patient with me to help me understand the color combination for my hair. I got a balayage done and didn’t want to go too light so no bleach for me, so he explained the options for me. The color that came out was very dark brown and tinge of red, so at the moment on my black hair you can’t tell much but it looks good. He mentioned may be it will lighten after a few days so I think I’ll wait to see how that turns out post a few weeks. Overall I think customer service was great and I felt I was really taken care of during my visit.

Khang consistently delivers. He knows what he’s doing. He has cut my hair multiple times, is easy to communicate with, and his pricing feels fair. He is also experienced with color and recently helped me refresh my highlights. The color was natural, the process was quick, and the results were chic. I feel really blessed that I’ve found a hair home in the Bay, thanks to Khang.

I think I just found my new go-to salon. Now, my requirements may be different from other people, but this is what I'm looking for in a hair salon: 1) Peace and quiet - I have a toddler at home. This is one of the only times, I completely have to myself and can relax. I don't want to be answering personal questions from someone I don't really know. So far, I haven't found a place where they stylist doesn't try to make small talk with me. 2) No sales pitch - I don't want to be pitched hair products and or be pushed to come back in 3 months for a follow-up trim. I understand that it's easier to manage if I come back more regularly, but I don't want to and I don't want to feel guilty about it. 3) Affordable - I don't mind dishing out more money if I have the #1 and #2, but also, why are women's haircuts so expensive these days? This placed charged $60 which felt like a steal. 4) Quality - I know I'm listing it last here, but that's just because it's a given. I asked for minimal trim, new layers, and to thin out my hair. He checked my comfort level with each and proceeded to give me exactly what I asked for. I asked for more thinning at the end and he showed no exasperations and happily obliged. I didn't expect to find a place that nailed it on all 4, but THIS place did. I will definitely be back.

Khang fit me in on short notice, and then he listened to exactly what I wanted. He did it so fast too! He is an expert with hair. I have a lot of hair and he knew how to cut it. I’ve never had a better experience.

Salon Khang is one of the best salons I’ve ever been to. The place is super clean and well-kept, Khang is very friendly and super nice! He’s great at cutting hair (& styling & coloring) and doing it exactly how I asked! My mom has been going to him for awhile now and there’s never any complains. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I consider this man my personal style is now he's one of the best I've seen around here man does a great fade on a new style highly recommend for men to go to this guy young entrepreneur all the way! I'll let no one touch my hair only this man he's my personal stylist like I said I'm a semi-retired DJ professional and got to look good all the time so I go to him all the time and every time I get my hair styled up by him I get high compliments and if you look further on the reviews here everyone is satisfied with his work

I first came to Khang to get my hair trimmed & styled for a photo shoot. Since he did such a great job, I was confident to go back to him again- this time for hair color & cut. He expertly managed to make my thick hair seem light and airy by thinning it, and also gave me a natural hair color. Love the final outcome! Thank you Khang!!

I went for a hair cut for the first time and he did a stellar job. He did the exact haircut that I requested. Very friendly and I felt positive vibes as soon as I entered the salon not to forget to mention the tall bamboo plants in the salon which is the first thing that catches your eye :-))

I've been going to Khang for around six months now, but this was my first visit to his new salon. It is a little further away from his last location in the SJ Evergreen area, but his skills justify the commute! Khang is an artist in his own right. He always takes the time to ask you what style or look you are trying to accomplish, and he does everything within his magical powers to sculpt a head of hair that is fit for movie star! This new salon is nestled amongst a handful of businesses, so the parking lot is fairly busy. It has a modern vibe that is warm and inviting. Khang is usually booked solid on a daily basis, but he is the most accommodating stylist I've ever met. If you haven't found your go-to stylist/magician yet, look no further! Your search will end at Salon Khang!

I highly recommend Salon Khang. I've been a client of Khang for several years now, and I followed him when he opened his own Salon, even though it's considerably further from my home. He is a good colorist, and cuts my hair as I ask him, while giving advice when needed. He takes his time while cutting and styling, and never makes you feel like he's rushing. He's also personable, with just the right amount of conversation and smiles. You'll be happy you found him.
