I have been going to Salon L for several years and have always been thrilled with the results! Ashley is so accommodating and conscientious, she is sweetest person and she does an amazing job! My teenage boys love her - and they are teenagers, so that says a lot ;) And strangers often compliment my hair color :) The salon has a great vibe, it's nice but also chill so you feel comfortable, and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend!

I needed a root touch up, so I called Salon L as Melinda cut my hair a couple years ago. I hadn't been back since. I contacted the salon and Jill was able to get me in for the root touch up at 11 am Dec 10, 2022. I received at tex at 5:30 am the morning of the 10, stating she was sick and couldn't do my hair. She had never done my hair before, BTW. I proceeded to call back early the next week and Lori, the owner got me in for my root touch up at 1:30 Thursday December 15th. I told her I didn't want a shampoo and blow-dry. She did my roots only, and I left with wer hair and dark stains around my face. View Studio L photo's and you will see the results of a 75.00 root touch up only, no blow dry or style. Plus a 20% tip. The total for the regrowth color cost me 90.00. This is an unacceptable price for the service and the bad root color job I received. I was upset, so I called and nothing was done to offer to satisfy me and make this situation right. This is ludicrous to say the least for a little salon on hampton and fyler and if you can afford 90.00 for a root touch up at Salon L more power to you. It didn't looks to me like anyone was paying this type of price for this particular service. Do not waste your money at a salon that doesn't care that you are satisfied .

I went in with dishwater blonde hair to get highlights. I came out with an entire head of platinum hair. I have left 3 messages for the owner to no avail. It cost me $150 to have a head of dry bleached hair. Literally I could have done me this at home for &15. And apparently the owner just does not gaf. Would not recommend.

I had been interested in trying this salon when I saw a client leave with a gorgeous haircut! I had moved to the neighborhood and was still checking out local businesses to support. Having had 2 back to back botched haircuts and poor client service from my stylist of many years and no luck in trying equally expensive shops , I called Salon L to get a consultation. From that first call everything went fantastic!!!! Courteous, friendly,skilled, and professional! When I went in for my scheduled appointment, every stylist was busy, quiet and FOCUSED on their clients!!! Tabitha did a wonderful job cutting, repairing and styling my hair,and she has a lovely chair side manner!!! This Salon is also far more affordable than any where else I have gone to in the last 7 years!!! I am very pleased with the experience and the beautiful results!!!

I haven’t been in a while and have very thick hair so whoever got my appointment was going to have a job. But Tabitha was great she colored and trimmed my hair and it came out beautiful!! So friendly and helpful. Shop was clean and smelled wonderful. Thanks so much Salon L!! I’ll be back soon. 😊

I used Salon L (Jill and Lori) for my wedding day and WOW! I have nothing by the utmost praise for them! They travelled to my venue to do my hair as well as my entire bridal party’s hair. Not only did they create amazing looks to fit each girl, but they did so efficiently and made us all have so much fun! From updos to braids to formal pony’s to half up/ half down, they made every girl look and feel incredible! And all of these looks lasted the entire day, even in hot and humid 90 degree St. Louis weather. My bridal style was a classic chignon and Jill absolutely perfected it!!! She went above and beyond with my bridal trial and then absolutely nailed the look on my wedding day. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and it’s so obvious she’s passionate about her work. I have nothing but respect and praise for her for making my wedding so perfect! My husband couldn’t get over how incredible my hair was!

Salon L is a cheery and bright place to sit in a quaint part of town. It was my first time there. I have very short hair and was looking for a sculptor. Tabitha cut my hair. She lived up to all those good reviews I saw about her. I showed her 5 pictures of hair I liked and asked her to make something happen for me along those lines. She did not disappoint! I think I found my new hair guru!

Jill is absolutely the best. She was so patient and understanding with my mom. My mom really loved her cut. She's always been wonderful for me as well for the last 15-16 years. She gives suggestions to extend my color and get my hair healthy. She is very knowledgeable and does a great job every time. Her and her sister are pretty amazing.

Been a very happy customer since they opened they're does. They have excellent stylists, colorists, and one is also a female barber. She does amazing work. I wouldn't think if letting anyone else touch my hair. Salon L is the best!!!!

I had been going to Salon L for years, when they were still Show Me Stylz. We moved away and for the last 2 years I have looked for a replacement. No one compared to Jill! I went back to see her again and she didnt disappoint! She knows exactly what I want, no matter how different each time, and she is extremely knowledgeable! ! She is worth the 30-45 minute drive for me! Thank you Jill!

I have been going here for years! They are great with color, cuts, wax, and styling. Everyone is always friendly and they are always finding ways to give back to their customers and the community. I recommend them to everyone and no one has come back complaining.
