Had a scheduled appointment on January 5th. A historic winter storm was predicted to hit the city which began January 4th. I had already confirmed my appointment Thursday, January 2nd. I received another text message to confirm my appointment again January 4th. I responded to the text message and asked if there was a possibility that Laron may reschedule appointments due to the impending snow storm. He canceled my appointment. I did not ask for my appointment to be canceled. There is no weather cancellation policy listed on the website. I politely asked I could make an appointment for the following Sunday, January 12th. I was referred to the website and was told by Laron that he would let me know on the 12th. I never heard from him. I went to the website to book an appointment for the 22nd of January. He has since required customers to book an appointment with a credit card and will charge a $40 cancellation fee within 24 hours of an appointment. I am okay and understand why he newly implemented this policy. I tried to book a new appointment and was unsuccessful using my phone, laptop, and desktop. I believed it was my credit card so I used 3 different cards to try and book an appointment. Still, no luck. I called Laron and left a voice message explaining the above issue. I never received a return call from him. It is apparent and clear that my account has been blocked or deleted and he is no longer interested in my business which is why I was unable to schedule an appointment. I understand that business is business, but his lack of communication is unprofessional and a demonstration of poor business ethics. I have never missed any appointments since I began receiving services several years ago or had any issues prior to my asking about his inclement weather policy. Needless to say, I will not be returning as a customer.

Went in Saturday at 2:40. Sign out front says walk ins welcome. Stood there for 3-4 minutes ungreeted and unacknowledged by the 3 people working on other clients. So I just left to go somewhere else. Maybe not have walk ins welcome if they aren’t indeed welcomed.

Great experience and took great care of my hair. My scalp feels amazing and my hubby loves how it feels. I love my hair.

I highly recommend this salon to anyone. Laron was really nice and Niya, who is the one who worked on my hair, is an angel. Not only did she work on my hair forever but she made the experience of cutting my hair so relaxed and made me feel good about it. I have always had really long hair ( down past my behind). I have always cried when I have even had it trimmed. She is such a wonderful person I didn’t shed one tear. This will always be my salon from now on. Great job making me feel welcome and for helping me with my hair.

I highly recommend Laron. I recently went from very long to very short hair. When I visited Laron, I was still trying to refine my short style. He listened carefully to my needs in terms of functionality, and then he cut my hair with great care--his attention to detail is amazing. I am very happy with the results, and I highly recommend visiting his salon!

Laron is amazing! He takes his time with your hair needs and listens to your requests. Laron's shampooing and hair cutting techniques are one of a kind - they relax you and make you feel glamorous and pampered, all at the same time. To make a long story short, I am not from here & this is my first time visiting Kansas city. Monday I went to a salon for just a shampoo & blow dry & that did not turn out well so $40 WASTED. Thursday I went to Laron salon & I was sooooo satisfied. I was a walk in & he got me right in with Samantha, I am so pleased with my hair & I appreciate both of them working as a team on my natural hair. They are so awesome & I want to thank them again for doin a fantastic job. If anybody is looking for a salon that does anything they are the perfect ones to go too. Keep up the good work guys.

Very professional, nice, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Only those being served are in the salon. Everyone is wearing mask to be considerate of one another. Great service and great salon overall. I would recommend this salon for anyone needing to look their best!

I have seen many hairstylists to have my hair colored, including allover color, high and low lights, ombre and bolliage for over 15 years. I have been to many salons in the KC area and can say with this past experience that the best hairstylist I have ever been to is Marie at Salon Laron and Salon Halo. The color and cut is always perfect. Marie is fast and leaves my hair awesome, consistently after every appointment.
