Great place. Easy to have ypur hairdresser buzz you in. Bathrooms are always clean. No free parking. There are parking meters and a garage. Close to the circle. My only complaint is getting there can be tricky. There are sometimes roads closed because of events.

Shoutout to Ty Martin for doing an amazing job on a perm for me! I’d never gotten a perm before and he was able to talk me through what would look best on me and it turned out great! 10/10 would recommend and I will be going back to Ty for sure! Thank you so much!!!

I get my hair done by Brandon. He has been doing my hair for about 7 years. One of things I love about Brandon is I go in and tell what I want. He turns that to “hair language” and always it turns out just what I wanted. Call and ask for Brandon!

Jade at Mane & Marble has been doing my hair for five years and she does an amazing job. She has a chill vibe, listens to what you are wanting done and makes helpful suggestions without pushing other colors or haircuts on you. She recently moved to Salon Lofts in dowtown Indy and the location is awesome. Easy access to and from the interstate, with ample parking available in the front and a parking garage in the back. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend Tiffany Groves. Kept pushing back appt time then never showed up at all. Lots of excuses.

Brandon is truly a great stylist. He listens to me. I have short hair and don't want an "old lady" haircut. He really takes the time to understand how I want my hair to look. He takes into consideration how much I am willing to do to "style" my hair everyday. He looks at pictures I bring him and can immediately tell me if it would be good for me, based on my hair type. I've seen him "sculpt" my hair into a shape that hides the bad places on my head and emphasizes the good. I get compliments all the time on my haircut. I highly recommend Brandon. He knows his business! (And he's fun to laugh with too!)

I've been seeing Brandon for as long as he's been at Salon Lofts, and I've never been disappointed. He consistently gives me the best haircuts I've ever had, and he's also so much fun to talk to. Also his room is really nicely decorated, which just adds to the experience. If you're looking for a great all around experience, check Brandon out!

I booked my daughter’s appointment with Ty Martin. As a professional, Ty was punctual. He was friendly, outgoing, & my daughter was immediately comfortable talking to him about the cut she wanted (she has social anxiety & it’s so hard to even get her to order her own food). But that’s just how welcoming and nice he is. He is good vibes people! This was our very first visit here since moving to Indy, & I’m certain we found our new family salon. Btw, she got a y2k style mullet & he nailed it!

I had my hair permed and when I tell you I have never been happier with my hair. Ty has a level of professionalism and knowledge that is amazing. I was comfortable and not nervous at all. The conversation was a1 and just the entire experience was awesome I have for sure found my forever salon home Ty dye hair salon Loft.8 trust me you won’t be let down.

I used to do my own hair for years and eventually decided to get help with the harrowing process of root retouching since that can be tricky to wrangle and didnt want to strain my arm after an injury. I have been here twice for just prep work -- as in, where I just get the roots lifted, and I play around with color on my own later since less precision is needed for that and it saves money. I've been treated very respectfully here, and the stylist who works with me does a very thorough and even job while being an all-around delightful, helpful and easygoing person. It's expensive, but that's to be expected given its location. The portfolios for those who work here are well worth a look and can be found on their website.

Corinne was recommended to me by my mother. I made the appt online and because of a family emergency I was unable to keep my appointment. I cancelled online and never heard back from Corinne to reschedule. My mother used her services again and Corinne cancelled the day of due to an “emergency”. We completely understood. Today my mother shows up and Corinne is doing another persons hair. My mother is confused and explains that she made an appt online. Corinne asked her if she got a confirmation. My mother explained she didn’t know a confirmation email was required. Corinne then preceded to scold my mother for cancelling on her once and her daughter (me). My mother explained corinne had cancelled her appt with her THE DAY OF to her. Corinne then said, “I’m getting a bad vibe from you and your daughter and we’re a bad fit.” Then shut the door on her.
