Had a REALLY terrible experience with one of the stylists there. Made an appt for a full color/cut over a month ago & the day of he asked if I could change the time (which was in the middle of my work day). I said I could try to make that work but said it was tricky for me, & I did my best to do so. I was running ~15 mins late & communicated very openly with him & apologized. I was flexible for him & adjusted the time accordingly, but it was tricky with work, ubers cancelling, traffic, etc. That being said, I was very excited to see a new stylist (who I found via social) and told him I was running 15 late. To this, he said it won't work out and he was taking another client instead of me. When I said I'm pulling up & disappointed, he responded "Sorry you’re disappointed in yourself." I haven't been treated with such disrespect probably EVER. Was so excited to see him, booked very far in advance, & due to me being 15 mins late this is how he responded. BIG NOTE: Treat people with empathy, respect, & kindness. I went out of my way to adjust the timing for him the day of when we had an appt scheduled over a month out & this is how he acted. INCREDIBLY UPSETTING. Definitely wouldn't recommend seeing someone who treats clients that way. Look elsewhere...

I don't understand how a business like this allows for staff to be unethical and racist when presenting themselves on social media. The complete lack of care and disregard to a tragedy is unacceptable. Do not book with Jordan Heidenwith.

Shiloh is my favorite stylist I've used in Chicago! When I first started seeing Shiloh before she owned her own business, I was only getting a trim every few months. Even though I was getting the most basic service, she would always offer refreshments, styling, and she was always so, so sweet and kind to me. She didn't pressure me to do anything more to my hair than I was ready for. When she branched out to her own business, I was SO thrilled for her. When I saw her in her new space for the first time, it appeared like a weight had been lifted off her! This kind, thoughtful gal was thriving. Since my early days of trims, I have now evolved to balayage highlights and could not be more thrilled with my hair since Shiloh has started coloring it. She is a perfectionist when it comes to placement and coloring, and as someone with 'virgin hair,' I have truly appreciated her dedication to detail! She has made me a convert to balayage for probably the rest of my life. I have not loved my hair as much as I have in the last 7 months since she started coloring it. Not to mention the products she uses are amazing and AFFORDABLE, which again, as someone with virgin hair who used Suave for, like, ever, I was worried about the sticker shock of salon-quality products, but was quickly assuaged when she introduced me to VERB! If you're looking for a funny, kind, talented, thoughtful, perfection-seeking stylist, look no farther than Shiloh! You will not be disappointed and I guarantee your hair will look better than it ever has!

Erin Green is amazing! I was contemplating having dreadlocks for years when I finally decided to go for it! Erin installed my dreadlocks they look amazing! I am very excited for this new journey. I trust Erin completely with all of my future dreadlock upkeep and style. The salon has many other services available too! Really cool place I definitely recommend.

I had my haircut and beard trim from Natalie Padilla multiple times. Her haircuts are great, always leaving me feeling fresh. From my experience, I feel like she really takes time to get to know her clients and their hair. The studio has great vibes, and I always feel taken care of. I would recommend Natalie and her studio to any guy who wants a great haircut and relaxing experience.
