My hair dresser was phenomenal. They have reasonable price and are really sweet people. The salon was clean and Co did a wonderful job with my hair.

I enjoy getting my haircut from Phil. My hair can be a pain in the a$$ to cut exactly how I want it, and since I've moved twice the last 3 years, I've been to quite a few places, but I always go back to Phil. An added bonus is they're open on Sundays, and they're open pretty late

Experienced staff and great services. Establishment offers wide range of services and hair products. Located in heart of uptown with easy access. Parking available at a paid lot or street. Price is typical. 7/14/23 no change.

Less frills than a place in Chinatown but I got a solid two block haircut. Price is more reasonable too so I'll definitely be going back

My visit to Salon M was a complete disappointment. Not only did my hair color fade within a week, but the lady who colored my hair was shockingly rude and disrespectful when I pointed out the issue. Paying $200 for a service should come with professionalism and courtesy, which were sorely lacking at Salon M. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to reconsider their choice of salon.

Well I read other rating saying this place is cheap. But it is not.. I paid $35, as I didn't asked for how much it would be, thought it wd be cheaper.... So I am not that agreeing for this is a good place to return. 35$ is sth over my budget. I called to book and asked if they also wash my hair, they said yes, but when I was there, they didn't want to.. And I needed to mention their own words when I was on the phone with them. Phew was friendly. I like him though. Just you need to go ask him first, for how much he wd charge you. And the lady there was not so friendly, as I entered I said hello, she walked out to look at me, turned her back and not saying a word.... That was not so nice thing to do as someone owning a salon... I like quick cut and the outcome is OK. But no I won't return.

Whether it's a haircut, styling, color, or even women's perms, Phil and Marc are the best. Fair pricing as well. Also, they are the nicest, kindest people!

I got one of the worst haircut of my life here. The owners seem nice and they seem to have steady clientele of customers (mostly men) but they do not seem to know how to layer women's haircut. My hair got chopped into a weird unflattering straight cut when I specifically requested layering. I had to wait several month and get another stylist to fix it. The other stylist was shocked this haircut was done in a salon. Needless to say, I am not coming back here.

I just got my curtain bangs fixed because the way I did them myself was not the best and the old woman was very quick and very professional. I highly recommend this place.

I LOVE THIS SALON! I've been going her for over 13 years. The place has been remodled since a few years ago and it's beautiful. Nothing better than going into a salon that's clean and asthetically pleasing. Prices are reasonable and work is quality. Amazing asset to the Uptown neighborhood and highly recommend. Marc and Phil are the best 👍
