still crying in the parking lot. so defeated. everyone was really nice. my stylist was nice. But my haircut is so so bad, it doesn’t look how it should, it’s nearly an inch too short, I don’t even look like a girl. I don’t even know what to say. It’s on me for not saying anything negative, or that I felt horrible, or that I didn’t like it. They asked very nicely, and I didn’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings so I agreed and said I loved it. I really shouldn’t have “gone along” like that. Completely my fault, I know that. But I’m so torn up that my stylist saw the pictures, saw the length, missed the mark this much. I’m sure she does a great job with medium-long hair, but when I called and asked if they had someone who would be able to do short hair I wasn’t expecting this result. 3 stars because everyone was extremely kind and welcoming, very much my fault for never indicating I was upset; I just don’t get how she started off cutting it this short after seeing what I showed her. so so sad.

Saw Beth today, she was absolutely great! She was so gentle with my hair, paid great attention to detail, cut it exactly like the reference photo I showed. She was so friendly and personable. I will continue to go to see her, cannot recommend her enough

I showed up about 40 minutes before closing to ask if I could get a haircut on a whim. Beth gladly took it on. I just told her I wanted a little trim with layers. She did a great job, I will be returning!

Beverly is my stylist, and I followed her here from another salon. I see her for regular root touch-ups, highlights, and lowlights. She listens to everything I ask about or any tweaks and changes I want for my hair. Then she makes it happen! I have never left her chair feeling freaked out that I didn't get what I wanted. She also communicates well with me about the condition of my hair (which is a quality I was looking for in a stylist) and makes recommendations but is not trying to "sell" me anything. Beverly is a true, professional stylist that wants to work with her client to get the best results possible. I am also happy that she has moved to Salon M! This salon has a relaxed, comfortable energy and I especially love the comfortable chairs at the rinse sink! Plus, the location is right in the heart of a lot of shopping, so I can go run errands after my appointment.

I came in for a Japanese hair straightening treatment today and Sheila was so kind. She managed to complete the treatment in about four hours, which was insane to me given how thick my hair is. I could tell she was giving it her all, despite my hair being difficult and her not feeling that well today. My hair has always been an insecurity and I’m just so so grateful for her talent and work ethic.

Asked for a Perm... this was the result. Asked what product was used. They said a "special product" from Japan. When asked if I could get at least a partial refund the lady Laughed and got very rude. Would not recommend at all. Horrible experience.

This was my first time to visit Salon M. I went for a trim by Sheila who was recommended to me as the stylist at this Salon best with the pixie cut. Dre is the stylist best with long hair. After looking at my hair, Sheila encouraged me to get a soft perm. My hair goes flat unless I spend too much time and product. I agreed. Sheila trimmed and permed. It took some time and cost $90. not counting tip. The perm is soft, giving my hair fullness and with the appearance of thickness. Sheila tells me it should last three to four weeks. I won't do it again only because I don't want to spend that much. Sheila charges $50. for just a wash and cut, not counting the tip. I would pay $50. for a good cut. Really good cuts can be hard to come by. Short hair styles only look great with a really good cut. I will try Sheila again for her cut and add a review.
