I’ve been to Hannah twice to do a curly haircut and color, and she always kills it!! Best haircut I’ve ever had, and now I can go to Emma to get the best waxes I’ve ever had! She is so gentle and had amazing attention to detail for my eyebrow tint/shape and wax and my Brazilian wax! Seriously the best salon ever

I’ve been going to this salon for years to get my hair cut by Ari (a haircut from her gets compliments for MONTHS, she’s a treasure!) and this week I had my first-ever facial with Emma. I opted for the custom facial, because I wanted advice on my daily skincare routine as well. First off—I had no idea how luxurious this experience was going to be! The arm and décolletage massage really helped me to relax. When the facial was finished, my neck and face felt incredibly juicy and moisturized. I had assumed it was just the products used for the facial, but days later my skin is still feeling incredibly smooth and plump.

I never learned how to take care of my hair and trying to find answers on the internet is overwhelming. It was so nice talking to a professional who took the time to help me learn how to style it at home. I left feeling confident, hopeful, and excited about my hair journey! i went to see ethel this past saturday for my hair, and emma today for a facial and brow waxing. ethel is absolutely amazing and super friendly!! she is always willing to work with clients and does everything she can to make everyone as comfortable as possible. she is also extremely knowledgeable and works with everyone to get color and cuts exactly as they want!! emma is super kind and friendly as well. her waxing was surprisingly gentle, but got me the best results i’ve had in years!! the facial i got was so calming and relaxing, not to mention the friendly disposition emma had making it so easy to just relax and get my extractions done. 10/10 will go again (already have it booked!!)

Ethel cut, colored & styled my hair. 🥰 I requested a vibrant mauve shade & a big blow out. She used rollers because I wanted to learn how to use them myself at home. My hair looks amazing & I learned a new styling technique for my pin straight hair. I had an amazing appointment & will be back for my next!

I got a facial with Emma and three days later I'm still glowing! She started off the appointment by asking about my skin and any problems I've been having. She was extremely knowledgable and I immediately felt like my face was in good hands. She created a relaxing environment throughout the whole experience, so relaxing that at one point I thought I might fall asleep! I truly didn't know facials could be so relaxing. At the end, she circled back to the problems I had talked about and gave me tips for some all natural remedies to help combat my issues which I thought was super cool! All in all, my experience was incredible and she gave me a luxurious, much-needed moment of self care. Emma is a great addition to Maeda and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment!

Emma waxes my eyebrows & ears regularly! She does a great job. She’s been doing my brows for many years. The new spa room upstairs is warm and welcoming. 10/10 recommended for men’s grooming.

I had a facial with Emma and it was an awesome experience. She was very LGBTQ+ friendly and was very understanding of my skin's unique quirks. The facial massage was so relaxing it almost put me to sleep. I will be back.

1st time going yesterday and I loved it! Hannah was more than helpful explaining my natural hair texture to me and took time to walk me through her styling process of my hair. I’ve struggled with my wavy hair forever and she made it look so good and made me feel at ease about me styling it myself at home. I genuinely appreciate the time she took to speak with me about my hair, my hair goals and what products to use and what they do. I was super happy leaving the salon with the outcome and will be back to see Hannah again.

I recently visited this salon with high hopes of getting the perfect haircut for my curly, thick hair. I had read glowing reviews and was assured that the stylists were experienced in dealing with hair like mine. I specifically asked for curtain bangs and medium layers to add some style to my hair. Unfortunately, my experience at the salon was far from satisfactory. I expected that after washing my hair, the stylist was going to straighten it then style it as requested, but instead it was simply left curly. I did not end up with the curtain bangs I wanted, which didn’t bother me as much as my uneven and very short layers, it was most definitely much shorter than what I requested. It was disappointing to spend nearly three hours only to leave with a haircut that didn't meet my expectations. I ultimately had to go to another salon to fix the uneven layers and actually achieve the look I initially wanted. While I didn't have a terrible experience at this salon, I was definitely let down by the lack of attention to detail and the failure to deliver the style I had asked for. Overall, I didn't feel any significant change in my hair (if I don’t consider my botched layers) and didn't think the service I received matched what I had originally requested!

I've been going to Ari for years to get my hair done. She's the only person I trust with my thick hair. She always knows exactly what to do and I always love the outcome. The salon itself is gorgeous and everyone is so nice. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have great service and great hair in a welcoming environment.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I’ve had a fear of curly cuts, I’ve never taken the risk because of the general cost and possibly not liking the cut. But based off recommendations to come here and see Ari, and seeing the reviews I decided to pop my cherry. And I am so glad I did!! My hair was incredibly uneven from my years going to great clips and now it looks cohesive and has some actual life to it! My hair has movement and is exactly what I was picturing. Ari was so thorough in understanding what I was looking for and she absolutely gave it to me!! After my experience with her and Hannah, 100% worth it, I will keep coming here.

Thrilled to have found this salon! I hadn’t had my hair professionally cut in 5 years and Hannah did an amazing job! I’m in love with the cut. That atmosphere was amazing and chill, I felt incredibly comfortable. Hannah is really knowledgeable and explained a lot of what she was doing and why while cutting and styling. I also had my eyebrows tinted and I LOVE the result. Hannah has single handedly improved my appearance ten fold! Thank you so much MAEDA ❤️

I've gone to Savannah a few times now and they never miss. No one has ever taken better care of my curls, or better taught me how to manage them. Everyone is always very welcoming when you arrive, and the atmosphere is so inclusive and safe for everyone. Highly recommend going to Maeda

Cute cute Salon! Definitely a Instagram worthy salon. Nice stylist. Great at consulting to discuss what you want and need. Honest. I see Amy I highly recommend her she is genuine ,honest and great to talk to. I came from Honeycomb Salon in St Matthew's and I love it here just as much if not more.

An awesome salon experience. Both stylists I have booked with over the years have been detailed and actually listed to what I wanted and didnt want. They do not rush the process and they have introduced me to products that have helped my hair get healthy! The overall vibe of the salon is great!!!

Last year on my birthday, I had a lot of terrible things happen in my life right in a row and I was an absolute mess. I had seen Savannah in the past and went to get my bangs trimmed up. She could tell even without asking that I was having a rough time. She took the extra time to fix my neglected hair and put some curls in it so I could feel pretty for work. I will never forget that genuine kindness that she showed me. She is SO talented and thoughtful! I hope to come back soon!!

The salon was so inviting and I absolutely loved Ari. It’s been a few weeks and I’m still in love with my cut. She really took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for and it was the first time someone cut my hair for my curls.
