My long time barber and good friend! Hands down - the best in the business! I moved away from Chicago to NY a few years back and the cut hasn’t been the same since! It was great seeing him today to get it fixed.

Maj does a great job with considering each person's unique hair and texture rather than providing a cookie cutter haircut. He is always friendly and clearly dedicated to his craft. There's a reason he has a loyal clientele and I have yet to find a better haircut in the area.

I booked an appointment with Majdi after reading several positive reviews. He did a phenomenal job correcting and improving upon a previous cut that I was not happy with from another salon. Majdi talked through what he noticed about the last cut and how it grew in, and how he would cut the hair so that it would be even and cleaner. He showed great care and knowledge around what he was doing. I am very satisfied with the way his haircut turned out and will definitely come back for my next one. Thank you so much!

I had such an awesome haircut and color a few months ago by Maj. I was visiting Chicago with my husband and we both wanted to get haircuts. I showed up without an appointment and he was able to see me very quickly. He did such a great job and is also so friendly, I am hoping to get back to Chicago just to get my haircut - and it's a beautiful city.

After moving downtown last year , I needed a new barber. The ones near my Lakeshore East neighborhood were/ are too expensive I checked out Franco’s in the basement of the Bd of Trade where I got my hair cut years ago. Franco was just retiring and thankfully Maj took over. He is a good talker, interesting and funny. He also is a pro. He told me I had been parting my hair on the wrong side all my life. I changed it, and I have found my new barber I intend to keep for a long time.

I always dreaded getting my hair cut growing up and through my adolescence as I am extremely particular about my hair. I have never been completely satisfied after having it cut, and thought I'd never find "my guy". Without fail, Maj always exceeds my expectations in giving a world class cut at a fair price. When I have the time (or before a date), I request a straight blade to complement the premium cut, which shakes out to ~$90 all in. This is half of what it would cost you in London, and Maj is equally if not more talented than these folks. I now find myself excited to get my haircut, knowing that not only will the cut be excellent, but the experience, world class. Tip of the cap to a one-of-kind barber.

I've been coming to Maj for 5+ years now after initially bouncing around haircut places in the loop. The attention to detail and good conversation is what keeps me coming break. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new barber!

Maj is a FANTASTIC BARBER! I have been going downtown and using him for years. He cuts my hair, trims my beard with excellent lines and also does color for both. Every time I leave his shop, I walk out looking sharp! He's also a great guys guy to talk with. I can't recommend him enough.

Maj is the best barber in Chicago and the Chicagoland area. Before going to Maj, I was never satisfied with my haircut. Since going to Maj for the past couple of years, I will never go anywhere else. I plan my haircuts around Maj’s schedule and not mine. He’s also very entertaining to talk with while he perfects your hair. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you go with Maj!

You don't know what a haircut is until you put Maj in the driver's seat. You might think you know what you want, but this professional barber will change your mind, just let him work his magic.
