Mary is an amazing hair artist! My kid has never been this satisfied with a haircut before. We tried almost every place near our home, including the expensive ones, but now I think it's totally worth the drive to Mary’s salon, even though it's a bit far. My kid had searched online for a style he liked a long time ago, and every attempt before we came to Mary was a disappointment. I had to lower his expectations, telling him that the style he wanted might require more than just a haircut, possibly a perm or some special styling. But when he saw what Mary did, he immediately loved it — it was exactly what he wanted! He couldn’t stop checking out his hair in the mirror all day, beaming with a big smile. He even said Mary is a “copy Ninja” — you just show her a picture, and she will replicate it perfectly!

Best perm!! I’ve had multiple perms at different salons, and Mary’s is the best. I was so shocked at how curly she was able to get my hair, plus it had a lot of volume. It’s been a week and still looks good. This is the first perm salon where I didn’t need to go back for a touch up.

Horrible cutting techniques. Front look was fine, not great though, but when I got home my friend yelled at me saying what happened to my hair, then she took this photo. To be fair, I didn’t ask for this weird layering. I could probably cut better by myself. I’ve seen a lot of compliments of this place at the Red, and I’m not sure if it’s only because there aren’t any other Chinese hair salon in Seattle. Would spare no effort asking all my friends not to come to this place. UPDATE for reply: That's not true at all. I did not ask for coloring, only cutting it short. This is my original hair color, and it took Mary 1.5 hours to cut like this. Period.

Mary is awesome! A few days ago I gave myself a haircut at home and it was totally a mess. But Mary magically saves my hair!! with her wonderful hair cutting technique I love my new haircut and it even exceeds my expectation, it looks so well and sophiscated! Other than that, she manages the appointments very effectively, there is no rush during the haircut, like most of the comments mentioned :) She really loves her work and very good at it! The best haircutting experience I had in Seattle. Would recommend Mary’s salon to everyone!!

Mary knows how to cut Asian hair and the price is very reasonable. Definitely recommend her! It's a private workshop and she would only focus on one customer at a time.

This place is utterly expensive considering that they charge you according to the volume of your hair, and the environment is unironically vulgar. Not to mention, the equipments have probably been used for years, not sure how they are still functional today. The process took a long time, and the customer service is very unsatisfying. This place needs to be shutdown asap, I don't recommend anyone going to this place.
