Bonnie has been amazing keeping up with my son retwist. She is very kind and very welcoming and professional. Nelda has also done an amazing job with my daughter sewing in for prom. She even provided hair from her own line and continued to help with upkeep for weeks keeping it looking great. We have really found our spot.

What a great first time experience! My luck with hair stylist has not been the best. It is nice to find an “old school stylist” has a wealth of knowledge and a passion about hair care!

Each time I’ve gotten my hair done here, I’ve loved the experience. The music is great, very friendly & professional atmosphere, & I always love the end result and that walk-ins were accepted as my schedule is very hectic. I referred my sisters, aunt, and a couple of friends here as well & they’ve all loved the experience :). However, on the 8th of this month, I scheduled an appointment that I had to cancel last minute due to a very intense family emergency. I notified the salon and asked to be rescheduled early the next morning or the next available time. I was told I would be called back & I believe someone did call me from a personal phone number. If so, they called while the emergency was still critical. I called the number back as soon as the situation was stabilized about 4 times, but it was either not in service or turned off, so I called the salon the next morning. I got the same response- they would call back. I never received a call back and called two additional times. I called again today around 8:30 am to schedule, hoping for some availability. The woman who answered the phone stated she would contact her braider, took my name and number and said she would call back. They did not call back, so after waiting a while I called back at 1pm to be informed that the braider had attempted to call me “a couple of times” (which I assume was during the emergency situation) and that the braider was “just not interested”. I guess this is fine as it is her preference , but I feel it was a bit unfair as I could not control the emergency, did not recognize a personal phone number vs. the shop number, and it was the only appointment I had missed. ALSO, especially since I have waited all day for a response more than once. I feel that had I not called back today, I would have waited all day again. I’m only left to believe that a previous conversation was had after missing the appointment and maybe they had already decided that the braider would not service me before my attempts, as the lady who answered the phone recognized my name and acknowledged that we had missed each other a few times. It was more than a little hurtful and disappointing to be told “she’s not interested, bye bye” after waiting weeks specifically for this salon for a situation I could not control. Just want to reiterate, it’s a great salon. I just think the communication was not handled appropriately here.

Nice place nice folks price is very reasonable but you must make appointment no hours are listed on door for operation.I look forward to doing business with them.I hope to give a 5 star for community support

My husband doug and I have only seen Bunnie for almost 30 years. She’s a perfectionist and has a sixth sense about color, style and how to make you look your best. Just had a Brazilian Blowout and I love it! Plus, Bunnie has become a good friend to us both.

Very nice comfortable salon to relax and enjoy being pampered. My hair specialist Bunnie Clay explained the process of what she was doing to my hair and what to expect as it matures into locks. She was professional and very knowledgeable in the art of hair. This will be my lockaligist.

Ms. Bunnie cut and colored my daughter's hair for the first day of 7th grade and it is phenomenal! When my daughter mentioned she wanted to try something different, I knew exactly who to take her to. Ms Bunnie is one of a kind. She has a beautiful spirit and electrifying energy. Thank you for helping my baby knock day one out the park!!! Eeeeeeek! I'll be back to get these locs done soon!
