I went to Salon Midtown for the first time and Kennady was AMAZING! I had a slight emergency and she managed to squeeze me in before my graduation day. She listened to my requests and all my concerns. I will definitely be coming back!

I'm new to NC and was searching for a new stylist after not cutting my hair in a year. After reading the reviews, I was blessed to find Kyle! My hair is very fine but I have a lot of it, there was no style, length was a couple inches passed my shoulders and just flat. After speaking with Kyle on what I was looking for, he reassured me I was in good hands. He was not lying! I left with layers, volume, and an amazing full look! I also look for what is suitable to my age, I'm not in my 40's just yet but not as young as I once was, lol. Kyle and the staff were welcoming and the salon has a beautiful warmth to it. I found my forever home and stylist. Thank you Kyle!

Went in for a cut and everyone was very kind and very attentive. Beautiful location very clean! Brooke did my hair and she was incredible and took her time and made sure I left satisfied! Will be a frequent customer!

LAWD! Let me tell you, ya girl right here decided the night before I left for Orlando to chemically straighten her hair at home (I know I felt your eyes role and the smack on the forehead… I got it BIG MISTAKE) my hair was coming out in clumps… did I say CLUMPS… I meant it. I called desperately seeking walk in service at a reputable salon and by the grace of all things great in this world and beyond Hannah was the sweetest THING, calm, patient, accommodating and put me instantly at ease during my hair nervous breakdown. She got me in, right away. As soon as I got there her lovely face was a wonderful welcoming into a BEAUTIFUL salon, alongside her was another lovely gem, Brooke! Of course common pleasantries were exchanged BUT right away they CARED for me and my meltdown. Calming me from the start. Within moments Brooke whisked me away to her chair (very comfortable and honestly I’m a super thick sister so I get awkwardly uncomfortable sitting in any salon chair … so my big curvalicious mamas / fellas they got you!! … you’re welcome 😉). After accessing my soppy wet noodle stringy hair, she devised a plan and just to validate some decisions and possible available options she called in another SAVIOR, Kyle (@ this time I was under the impression this was another hair artist & possible manager, come to find out he’s the OWNER ) He immediately turned his attention to hearing me, listening to me, and completely supported Brooke’s vision offering additional insight on what could provide me with the results that benefited myself and my insecurities! (Which was PARAMOUNT… to ME! … Thank you again the both of you!). After selecting a few styles I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH My soppy noodle hair was cut, I was washed (AMAZING btw) let me not forget that during the entire time Hannah kept checking on me offering a variety of refreshments. Super customer service oriented to say the least! After the shampoo and conditioning treatment, I was taken back to the lovely spacious chair, where again Brooke put me right at ease, and began working miracles! Kyle assisted in the vision. A few additional lovelies stopped by the chair with words of encouragement and !VIOLÁ! A whole new woman emerged with an amazing new hair style, a few new BESTIES 😉 no but seriously, Hannah, Brooke, & Kyle, y’all saved me! Saved my vacation! Saved my hair! I can’t thank y’all ENOUGH! Y’all are amazing and I can’t wait to come see y’all again! If you want a salon that is AMAZING do yourself & your hair a FAVOR, and call them, schedule an appointment and see for yourself. Let them know the curvalicious mama that made her hair soppy spaghetti sent you! 🤟🏼🫶🏼 Thank you again for being AMAZING! I’ll most certainly be back …. & the fam too! 😂😉🫶🏼… but seriously, the entire fam because I’m telling EVERYONE! Kyle you have an amazing team, your salon is beautiful and you are truly a PHENOMENAL representation of your business!

CARISSA at Salon Midtown is amazing. She takes care of our very thick native American hair and has done things with color that we didn't think possible. She actually listens and truly wants to give you a fantastic do. The salon is really nice and everyone there is so friendly!

Abby is amazing. She makes my hair look great. Yesterday I walked wanting my hair to look natural even though it was bright purple. When I walked out I had a very natural reddish brown (my goal). She did an amazing job. I'd recommend her for whatever you need done.

Brooke rescued my hair! I recently went to another salon and asked for a V-shaped cut (with a photo). She didn't know how, but didn't tell me that. I had to ask her to stop (something I've never done). Brooke fixed it for me beautifully, without saying negative things about the previous person or their work. Took the time to make sure I was happy with the finished product. Very professional. Thank you! Photos of before and after Brooke fixed it.

I followed them from their first location on spring garden and I am obsessed with the new location! They are very knowledgeable and current on hair treatments/trends. I love the friendly atmosphere and adore their local art rotation. Along with hair they have amazing skin care treatments! Best in town!

Salon Midtown offers so many services. I have had my hair styled for photo shoots by Bryson (blowout for headshot) and Brooke (updo for photo shoot) They know their craft and take time to understand what you want. Highly recommend them!

Salon Midtown Rocks every service, they are always discovering and offering new services, they are on the cutting edge. Love that… I am a house plant, garden person & love Art Collections and they are always showing new art collections and new species of plants. I laugh here so much!
