Can't get anyone to answer the phone to simply ask a question. It says on their voice message to email them. Why? I'd like to be able to just call and ask a question.

I really enjoy this salon! The people are very friendly and every service I’ve had here (haircuts & highlights) have been great! I do wish they would bring in more tier 1 & 2 folks for those wanting to pay less. But you do pay for the quality! I like that they offer a drink upon entry (soda, water, beer)

Hagen is absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend to her to anyone. The way she fits your hair cut to your face and takes the time to understand your hair and what works and doesn’t work for you is top tier. I love my hair she’s amazing with her work.

Aaron is a true artist, so great at cutting my half wavy hair and not afraid to do something different to one side than the other. After my last stylist seemed to have lost his passion for the craft (i get it, it happens) i did some searching... higher than i'm used to paying but think i'll stay. Also super sweet, simple space, unpretentious and front desk mgr adorable. ; }

If you’re looking for a wonderful salon from the greeting walking in to leaving, then you must schedule here. Vanessa is precious and always so generous. Over the years I have had my hair done by so many different hair stylist trying to find the right one and have been so disappointed until I found Sarah at Salon Modello. She truly does an amazing job every time. She gives genuine advice on care for your hair and treatment on your hair type.

This is THE BEST hair salon in Atlanta. The atmosphere is very uplifting with their bright lights and abundance of color decoration from the organized hair products they have. I was greeted by the cheerful and energetic red hair receptionist, Ver. Animmediately felt right at place. She is the face of Salon Modello. One of the most happy go lucky people ever and such a delight to talk to. Whenever you have a bad day, just meet her and she will uplift you with her energy right away. My hair stylist, Ben, was next level of awesomeness. He listens very well to what style I wanted, made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and recommended me specifically on the right products and tools for my hair texture. He is also extremely funny, relatable and just very charming all around. The best part about him is how he communicates and naturally has a happy aura around him. He will probably be my go-to hair stylist, next to Emily who is also awesome as heck. Salon modello is definitely a great hair salon for any hair texture. I've been to other hair salons and they straight up told me they don't have any hair stylists that can work with my thick curly hair. There was absolutely no concern coming to this salon. A simple call and they will take care of you from start to finish!

Worse experience. I spend an hour here and doesnt feel like I got a hair cut. She surely dont know how to cut hairs. My hair was pulling when she was blowdrying and cutting. I was excited to post a before after, well there is no after for this haircut. Will never come back. It has been a good place in past but not anymore.

I hope I was just there on an off day, but I didn’t have a good experience. Everyone was very friendly and nice, the salon is clean and comfortable, and I felt safe Covid-wise. My sister sees a different stylist there and has a great experience with her. However, the back of my boyfriend’s t-shirt was bleached accidentally while his stylist was doing his hair. No one told him and when I saw it and exclaimed in surprise “oh no, your shirt is ruined!”, no one working there said anything in reply or offered apologies. I’ve never had that happen at a salon before. In addition, my dye job on my hair was $250 more than the original price quoted over the phone. I have a LOT of hair, so I was expecting it to be $50-100 over the quoted rate. But with such a huge difference it would have been courteous to give me a heads-up. Lastly, I expressed gently two times that while I loved one of my colors, the other was too bright. There were no offers to make adjustments, I was just told to give it a couple weeks and see how I felt then.

I paid $100 for a haircut which looked great when I left, but I prefer my hair straight which I told the stylist. After getting home and styling it several times I noticed there are multiple pieces that are noticeably longer on both sides of my head. I asked if they could fix and it they want to charge me full price again. In my opinion that’s pretty terrible customer service. I had great service in the past but it seems to have gone down hill unfortunately.

I recently have had two very unsatisfactory hair color appointments here. I first did not receive the color I wanted and then at my rebooked appointment to correct my hair, the stylist said he didn't have time for me. I am extremely disappointed by the handling of this, as I brought it to the salon's attention first privately to get the service rebooked, just to have the stylist be rude to me and not complete the appointment. I have spent over $1,500 at this salon was expecting to come even more frequently with the new color, but now don't trust Salon Modello to treat me fairly. If you are looking for a salon for color treatment, I would not come here.

I used to always go to the same (expensive) place to get my haircuts, and I felt that I received the same exact experience every time I went. Last year, I wanted to get my hair cut on a whim, and my usual place was booked. I found salon modello through a reddit recommendation and will NEVER go back!! Each time has been a personalized experience, and I would never trade it for the more expensive “chain” type salon. It’s also beautiful inside and has very fun vibes! Emiley has cut my hair multiple times and each time has given me trims that don’t take off whole chunks of hair! I feel like I have “my” hair stylist now! She is amazing and makes me feel beautiful. I look forward to continuing our relationship and getting some color next time!

I'm going to keep this short because it's just too much. .. 1. Salon Modello staff (stylist, receptionist and owner) bypass, override and IGNORE client's voice - consistently, across the board. 2. I went in for a cut and color and experienced the MOST micro-aggressions ever with a stylist who showed no expertise on how to care for my hair (3b curl...think shirley temple) AND no desire to respect my hair care needs or boundaries (i.e. no heat, natural for 9 years). 3. I was literally and repeatedly OVERSOLD on services. I paid $300 for a balayage I didn't want to begin with, and was being told how much I need to rebook for the entire 4 hours I sat in the chair before my hair was even done. I cancelled the haircut, after experiencing #1-3, and chopped off my hair the next day to salvage my own sense of dignity and self-image. Anyone who even slightly steps out of being a straight-haired blonde - please think twice.

I've been coming to Salon Modello for 3 years now, and have had a great experience every time. My hair is long (down to my butt long) and haircuts always scare me. I used to see Ren, but since she left I needed to switch to a new stylist. Sarah does such a good job. When I say I just want to trim, I only get a trim. She does such a good job shaping and styling my hair but I walk out without feeling like I've sacrificed my length. The salon is always clean and reception staff is always kind. Definitely recommend!

It was my first time getting a balayege and my first haircut since November 2019. I am so pleased with the results and the service. Sarah Webb did an awesome job with my hair and answered all my hair-care questions. She was also extremely patient with my very specific bangs related request. I appreciate her and the staff at Salon Modello!

I cannot say enough great things about Salon Modello and my colorist, Emily. I have been trying for over 5 years now to get my color to be the perfect deep purple and not a single salon could do it, until I came to Emily at Salon Modello. She is truly a wizard with color and has not only made my color beyond perfect, but she is mindful of the health of my hair and always trying to make sure it stays healthy and shiny. We have also experiminted with some different colors and it am just obsessed! She is insanely talented and truly listens to her clients. Not to mention, she is just an awesome person! I look forward to seeing her every 6-8 weeks. Everyone at Salon Modello is professional, friendly, kind and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this salon!

I have been going to salon modello for a couple years now and the service there is always professional and welcoming. Spero Sandouk is an excellent stylist. He will always execute whatever you have planned for your hair with precision and attention to detail. If you want to be a bit creative, he's great for that too! He has a great sense of shape and is especially good with curly hair. I've been going to him for upwards of 3 years and will continue to see him for as long as I can.

I can always count on him to understand what style, cut, and color I'm going for and to do an amazing, caring job. I had my first color experience with Spero, and it exceeded all of my expectations. So Emily is fantastic. She does wonderful haircuts and beautiful color.She is a really good listener and you will have the style you want. If you are not sure of what look you want she is great at giving you a style that will suit you. You will not regret having her as your stylist. I have been using her for about 2 years. To top it off she has a great personality.
