I had my first haircut and tone with Autumn today, she made my hair dreams come true! She took the time to fully understand what I hoped for with my hair and to get to know me. Even when she was done, she gave me some awesome styling tips. I truly felt so confident leaving the salon and cannot wait to be back! Thank you Autumn!

Autumn is amazing! It was my first time in and she did an incredible job! I am in town for school, but I normally get my hair done back home. It had been a while since I got highlights, so it had grown out a bit. I asked for a more natural grow out of my blonde and Autumn suggested many different things we could do. We ended up doing teasy-lites, which turned out exactly as I wanted it to! I highly recommend!!

Autumn's lack of punctuality and reliability can be extremely frustrating, as it shows a lack of respect for the client's time and schedule. It is unprofessional and inconsiderate to repeatedly cancel appointments at the last minute, leaving clients scrambling to find a replacement hairstylist or rearrange their schedule. As a hairstylist, Autumn should prioritize her clients and ensure that their needs are met. Unfortunately, her inability to keep appointments and her consistent tardiness suggest a lack of commitment to her clients and to her profession. Overall, I would not recommend Autumn as a hairstylist due to her unreliable behavior. Her lack of professionalism and respect for her clients' time make for a frustrating and disappointing experience at Salon Moony.

Both my husband and I have been to Tabrina with big and small changes desired and have walked away supremely happy with all results. 5 stars for Tabrina’s expertise, 5 stars for salon atmosphere, and 5 stars for the beauty salon banter!

I visited Salon Moony a total of 3 times to get a medium length haircut with Autumn. The first time I had a good experience and was satisfied with my cut. So I came back a second time for my next haircut, asking for something similar. The quality of cut was not there the second time around. My hair was now imbalanced, with bulky, chunky ends on the front and sides. So I set up an appointment to get it reshaped; not a big deal. I asked her to remove some of the bulk and balance the cut a bit more, showing her reference pics of the first cut she gave me. Something felt off; she finished my cut and added a lot of moisturizing product. I left her salon with damp, unstyled hair, feeling ugly. When I washed out the product the next day, I have come to find that my hair is worse off than before. She chopped an extra short layer only on the right side, leaving my haircut crooked and uneven. The right layer is so short that I don’t even know if I can get it fixed, but I will not be returning. Autumn is very friendly and I trusted her, but she mishandled my hair. I’m very disappointed with my overall experience. If you have thicker hair, I would not personally recommend coming here.

Tabrina has been my stylist for 10+ years and I've never been disappointed. She's a wizard with blonde and has kept my hair looking good at all different lengths, and with bangs! She keeps me on trend, and tells me when I have a bad idea. I always feel welcome at the salon with beverages and accommodations for when I have to work. The entire staff is incredibly talented and friendly. I couldn't recommend Salon Moony more!

The salon has a fun and easy vibe. I’ve travel for work and have only seen Autumn. She really has done good work to keep my greys blended and colored well. And I’m kind of neurotic about them 😆. She was able to build on what previous stylists have done and layer the colors in a way that I’ve been super happy with! As a bonus she is also an easy and extroverted personality- so having her in my personal space and touching my head isn’t awkward or annoying!

Autumn is the best stylist I have come across ever (previously in Chicago idk what that means but she deserves some mad cred). She took me from a hideous two tone blonde to a ashy platinum in one session which is something I was told could never be done. We even did a fun lilac halo. I am a low maintenance gal and she did my hair to how I know I would keep up with it rather than try to sell me in more than I could handle. And just a very fun, warm, funny individual. The salon also had a wonderful vibe. Autumn knows her stuff and is living her true calling. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Austin did a fabulous job with my haircut! I had long hair for ~4 years, and needed a hair stylist I could trust to go for a French crop haircut. I am glad I chose him. I feel even more confident with my hair now, and absolutely love the cut! He also gave me some hair styling tips. He was very thorough and communicative in his explanations for the styling. 100% recommended!!!

Austin is the best of the very best. My previous stylist relocated. I was then referred to Austin by a friend. He gave me an absolutely amazing cut and color. On top of being the best in Seattle, he is also a kind and warm person. If you are looking for a new stylist I highly recommend. Especially for blondes, it's not easy finding that perfect shade and style. Let Austin do it for you, you won't regret it!

Gerv is such an artist. She brings so much care, incredible talent and skill, and master training to the experience. During the pandemic I had to use some corporate services, and the stylists were good, but nothing compares to Miss Gerv.❤️

Hmm where to start.. this place is super cute, small and intimate. Austin is amazing, it was my first time there and we went though how usually get my hair done, routine, care etc. Then the actual cut was just what I wanted, and the head massage during the wash was the perfect mini escape from the day my body and brain needed. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been with Austin for about 7 years now and plan to stay with him forever! He's an absolute color master and his cuts are always exactly what I want. I think my favorite thing about Austin is how consistent he is. I have never once left feeling disappointed. I'm always blown away. Icing on the cake is how fun he is to talk to.

I know everyone says this, but I truly NEVER post online reviews. For Salon Moony though, I couldn’t resist! This crew is one in a million. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Owner Tabrina Pelkola has done my hair for 14 years, and the only other stylists I’d EVER go to if she were unavailable are Austin and Gervais, who are luckily also part of the Moony team. Tabrina has seen me through so many major life changes - heartbreak, new jobs, pregnancy, navigating early motherhood and a freaking global pandemic. Each time she’s taken my hair color and cut vision and brought it to life, using her artistic skills to give me the confidence, comfort, or whatever superpower it was I needed at the time. I’ve had a platinum blonde pixie, a layered lob with coral highlights, asymmetrical with chestnut balayage, an undercut, you name it. She is magic. And if you’re balking at pricing - don’t. With hair color and style, you get what you pay for and this is their art. Lastly, the salon itself is the coolest, most stylish little bungalow on Cap Hill, where everyone is welcome and any secrets spilled are kept safe 😉 A true reflection of Tabrina herself. 💥BOTTOM LINE💥 Salon Moony is top notch!

Salon Moony is such a warm, clean, and welcoming space! Tabrina did a beautiful job with my cut and color. I have had long hair for awhile now and have not had it colored in many years. When I was ready for a change, Tabrina helped me make a plan that I was comfortable with! Going from long to short and getting balayage can be intimidating but Tabrina checked in with me throughout the process and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve gotten many compliments and feel that my new look really suits me.

Tabrina is magic with my hair. I completely trust her with anything I ask of her. I can come to her with no idea or a crazy idea and she will talk me through what the best options are and how we can tweak something to fit my not so easy to deal with hair. I have thick, wiry hair that does not work with a lot of looks. Tabrina is always helpful about what looks are trending, giving suggestions about what would look great with my hair, and is happy to explain what maintenance or styling is needed to pull it off. And the salon is gorgeous and so fun!

Tabrina is the best there is! She’s done just about everything to my hair—from a pixie to long cuts, all kinds of colors, and multiple Brazilian blowouts. She is so talented. Being in her chair is a fun and comfortable experience because I know that I can trust her. I have crazy hair and have learned the hard way that not everyone knows what they’re doing. She’s really great at envisioning the ideas I send her way, and is honest about whether or not they’ll work with my hair type. When it hasn’t been a good fit for me, she’s always been very thoughtful and creative in finding something similar that will work to my hair and lifestyle’s strengths. The salon is a vibrant and fun place to be.

This salon is the coolest! The vibe, the artwork, the attention to detail, the retail section, the FREE PARKING NEARBY, and most important the stylists. Tabrina and her team are truly masters of their craft, and they’re so fun to be around. They make everyone feel like a rockstar, and they work meticulously to ensure their clients leave feeling like the best versions of themselves. I wish I could give Salon Moony 18 million stars.
