Darius Keon styled me and it was THE BEST experience I’ve ever had. He’s so gentle, calming, and his shampoos are phenomenal!!! I’d go to Darius every time for any style, especially color! I love my hair so much.

Two weeks later and I am still in AWE of my experience at Salon Moraee! Darius Keon took the time to understand and listen to my concerns and hair needs. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted and cared for by Alesyah. She is the HOSTESS w/ the MOSTESS** I love my hair more natural and he ROCKED it. He gave me the perfect trim, shampoo, and style. Thanks for making me feel special....I will be Backkkkkkk

10/10 experience! I was greeted with smiles, and Alexis made sure I was comfortable the entire appointment. I love my new color and they made sure I didn’t leave until I was 100% satisfied! The steam treatment left my hair and scalp feeling so nourished.

As someone who has been a client at the salon for several years, I can say both negative and positive reviews are astoundingly correct. I do believe that this salon has potential to be better upon actual evaluation of the stylists mentioned in the negative reviews as it's obvious they are not quite aware of how they come across -- one in particular despite the talent. Attractive team member; however, the Jeckyll and Hyde personality leaves a lot to be desired. The perk of the salon is that I had not experienced harsh handling of my hair despite my last hair coloring being a complete miss. If it were not for the stylists in the positive reviews, namely Tonya, Shamir, DeAngelo, Michael and the receptionist; whose high end professionalism countered their rude colleagues and occasionally the owner, I would have stopped being a client long ago.

Be prepared for the extra heat from the dryer AND blow dryer -which is not good for natural hair. Steer clear of Darius bec he is not a concerned stylist. Also, be prepared for a long wait.

I am new in the area and was researching hair salons when I came upon this salon. Base on the reviews I booked an appointment and went in and let me tell you my stylist was Michael and he did an excellent job!! Above and beyond what I was expecting. The place is beautiful the service was very professional and client oriented . I have found my new salon🤩 i totally recommend this salon to everyone. 💯

I had Michael Miller cut & style & dye my hair. He took his time. He was patient. Overall good customer service. When he was washing my hair I went to sleep lol. I love this salon & every one in it. Anyone who wants a fresh hair cut & style. I recommend Michael he will not disappoint!!!

Anyone that can tame my wild mane will generally win brownie points from me but these guys went above and beyond. I was beside myself and ready to chop it off after so much frustration at trying to keep it detangled. The young lady at the wash bowl was quick and thorough and got out the knots and my scalp feels all the better. The stylist in charge of the straightening got it silky and smooth and thanks to the skillful trimming all the places I "rage cut" you dont even see anymore. And both were patient and professional and continued to assure that they were going to make it right and they absolutely did that!

First time visiting this salon and my appointment was with Paula.....it didn't go well at all. I was asked to take my wig off in the waiting area so she could see my hair 🙄 then it was all chopped off way shorter than the pictures I showed her within minutes of sitting in her chair. No real consultation at all..just relaxed and cut my hair more and more until there was nothing left. I hated it so much and I had a head full of healthy hair....I wish I would've done my research on her. Horrible experience. Not to mention I was left under the dryer for at least 2 hours while she rotated 3 more ppl to dry 3 inches of hair! Never again!!!!

My experience at this Salon was not a good one. First of all the prices that are on the website does not apply to the service you will receive. I came in for a Full Head of Highlights and came out with blotches of uneven color in my hair. Micheal was a nice guy but color is not where his expertise is. After Michael put the hair color in which included bleach he proceeded to comb my hair and use a towel to remove the bleach. That’s crazy!!!Of course I received breakage, what cosmetologist combs through bleached hair from the root to the tip??? He added on charges that I didn’t ask for like toner, and a treatment he made that had my hair hard. I went in expecting to pay $160 and left paying $300 for a hair color I did not ask for. My advice if you’re new to Atlanta do not go here!!!!

The salon was clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The service was great!! Michael was my stylist and he did an amazing job on my hair. I went in for a change, I thought I knew what might look nice, but he made a suggestion of what he thought would fit me best, I couldn’t had agreed more. I absolutely love his idea. I have received so many compliments!!! The owner was very sweet as well!! I would definitely recommend this salon to everyone!!

This was my first experience with the salon and my first time receiving a keratin treatment. It was wonderful from start to finish. I was greeted as soon as I arrived. The salon and staff are friendly, inviting, and fun! Two stylists took time to ask questions and make sure my expectations were in line with what the treatment could deliver. I was kept updated on what was going on with my hair and expected results during the entire service. I recommend visiting the salon for your next service.

This was my first time visiting the salon and it was fantastic! First, the salon is beautifully designed, well-kept, clean, and very spacious. My appointment was with Alisia. Upon arriving I was pleasantly greeted by Alisia (she is the salon owner) who asked me to tell her about my hair, how I'd like it styled and escorted me to the shampoo bowl. I recently took down crocheted faux locs and made an appointment for the “Shampoo + Style- Scalp Detox.” If you’ve never had a scalp detox, do yourself a favor and book one NOW! The Shampoo: Tayler shampooed and performed the detox on my scalp. Aside from being friendly and having great energy, she was thorough and mindful of me being “tender- head.” It’s important to note, my detox involved scratching the build up and dry skin off my scalp, but it wasn’t painful. When the water touched my scalp during the shampoo, it literally felt like my scalp could breathe and was actually absorbing the water! After my shampoo and detangle (which was surprisingly seamless), Tayler gave my neck and scalp a quick massage before placing me under the dryer with my conditioner. *The dryer seating was very comfortable and was an overhead dryer that didn’t make you feel confined to an uncomfortable hooded dryer chair* Styling: Alisia was great and very mindful of the care she was taking while styling my hair. Additionally, her spirit seemed to keep the energy fun and upbeat in the salon. As she was blowing out my hair, I shared with her that I have not been detangled so easily before (my hair is very dense and all natural/ coils), she quickly gave props to Tayler for doing such a good job with the conditioning and detangling process- that’s not only the sign of a great salon owner, but a team player who lifts others up. Throughout the process, Alisia was mindful of consistently spraying heat protectant on every area before applying heat. Additionally, she pointed out that I needed a trim and did NOT cut all my length off- Hallelujah! My hair was beautifully done and to top it all off when I returned home, one of my neighbors complimented my hair sharing how flawless and healthy it looked. Needless to say, I left Salon Moraee as a happy new client who will certainly return again! Thank you, Tayler, and Alisia for bringing my scalp and hair back to life!

This was my second time at Salon Moraee. My first experience was pleasant with Darius, got a simple wash and flat iron style. So I decided to schedule a two week second appointment, which this time was not the pleasant experience. I am not a fan of stylist acting like my time is not as valuable as the next clients, no matter what service is being provided. I had an appointment at 11am, I was there 15 mins early. Darius proceed to wash and sit me under the dryer. Now I don't have a huge head of hair, so when I realized I was still under the dryer and noticed 30 minutes went by. No Darius to follow up and grab me or at least communicate with me. I looked at my clock again and it is not 10 minutes til 1:00pm. I come in at 11am for a shampoo & style and it was 1:00pm and I'm still under the dryer. I complained to the receptionist about my frustration as I had somewhere to be at 1:30 and she was so sweet and polite and kept apologizing although it was not her fault. The owner came and apologized as well and told me Darius was coming to get me. So I stayed because my hair was braided in little plaits and I just needed a quick flat iron. Darius finally came and got me from the dryer section and had the nerve to ask if "I was ready?" Well after an hour, what do you think? In the end the receptionist and the owner apologized for the wait and gave a 20% discount, I still decided to write a review. All it takes is a little bit of communication. If Darius would've came to me while I was sitting under the dryer and simply apologized for the long wait, that would've went along way. But because I sat there for almost an hour with no type of check up, I think I am good on returning for any future services. Everyone should be treated the same if its an $80 service or $400 service. Oh and also, the playlist is nice.

Today I went in for a hair consultation with Darius Keon bc I seen his hair cuts and was very impressed. When I got there for my 3:00 consultation he was not done with his client until 3:30 which was fine. Once I got in his chair I explained to him that I had medical issues which caused my hair to fall out So I wanted to get a haircut with the sides of my head shaved. I mentioned to him I had a keratin treatment a few months ago and a few other things. I don’t know anything about Hair so I did mention a perm which if couldn’t get one it’s OK I just wanted to do what was best for the hair style . He then proceeded to the front desk to speak with a lady who was very informative and told me what I could and couldn’t do and I really appreciated that. The way he went to speak to her about what I wanted felt very shady he proceeded to say things like she had a keratin treatment and trying to ask me for a perm. He didn’t have to have that energy I just wanted to start fresh and new. I was still polite and took everything the lady was informing me about very well bc she had Genuine energy but before I left Darius Keon looked At my purse and said oh I like your purse is bebe stores still open which really made me feel less than I explain to him I got this at an outlet a few years ago and I’m not sure if the store is still open or not . I don’t know what that has to do with my hair so I took it as shade . What I want to explain to Darius is I lost my mother a year ago and then had to fight for my on life. After that statement I left feeling less than but I have to remember what my mother always told me I’m God’s child and I will always be taken care of . I want you Darius Keon to remember this you will have to be humble one day God will make sure of it coming from someone who knows . I just pray you make it through with your head held high.
