I’m so excited to have found this salon and Jebediah! It’s scary to trust someone new with your hair but I had a great experience. I’m very happy with the results and look forward to going back.

The salon itself was beautiful, and Jedediah was very friendly. However, my experience was less than ideal. I had booked a haircut, but it was clear that he had overbooked himself. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes late, and when I got there, another client was still in the chair. I waited another 10 minutes or so, and when it was finally my turn, Jedediah listened to what I wanted but didn’t ask many follow-up questions about the style. He washed my hair, but before finishing the cut, another client arrived for her appointment. He then asked me to wait while he started her color, leaving me sitting with wet hair and a half-finished haircut for about 15 minutes. Once he returned, he rushed through the rest of the cut, and when he began blow-drying my hair, another client showed up to wait. At this point, there were three clients waiting on one stylist. The blowout was rushed and didn’t look great, and the layers in my hair were choppy and not at all what I had asked for. In the end, he offered the cut for free as an apology, which I appreciated. While Jedediah was kind and polite, it was clear that he had overbooked himself and was unable to give me the attention I needed.

Jedidiah listened to me and gave me exactly the hair cut I wanted. He’s also very sweet and makes you feel comfortable during the process and recommends products based on what you’re looking to achieve , plus good hair tips!

Best salon I've ever been to in nearly 30 years! I wasn't feeling so hot and came in as a birthday treat. The salon smelled divine and good music was playing while I waited. Crystal made me feel wonderful inside and out, she worked so hard!!! She went the extra mile to take good care of me and this was all so worth it. She cut my hair and dyed it a lovely vibrant red. Now I know what it's like to go to a real salon, and why people keep coming back to the same salon. If I need a haircut, this is going to be the place from now on! Crystal really knows her stuff about hair and I learned a lot while being pampered. My hair's already frizzy because I've been keeping it in tight rubber bands and there's breakage, but Crystal gave me tips to prevent that in the future! Thank you so much!!! I keep getting compliments on my hair at work, at the bank, and at the grocery store. I'll let them know Salon Mérite did it! ☺️💕💕💕 I genuinely left the salon excited after having a rough day before. Crystal gave me the best haircut of my life! She listened to my wants & needs and was so knowledgeable and helpful.. Not to mention she gives the best scalp massage. The salon is super inviting and adorable. Highly recommend this place!!

I had a FANTASTIC experience with Crystal, she created such a welcoming environment and I felt right at home. Crystal provided much needed insight when giving me a consultation, I felt very involved in the discussion and she was able to make my vision come to life. The price for a haircut with long, thick, textured hair along with a deep conditioning treatment was quite reasonable and I got the results I was hoping for. With my haircut I can do curtain bangs or actual bangs (I LOVE having options), and I have never felt more confident.

Truly a great experience to go in and get a haircut. Atmosphere was very pleasant and Jedediah was wonderful to talk to. My hair is fine and I have quite a bit of it and this was really the first time I feel someone layered my hair correctly. Would highly recommend (already personally recommended to several).

Came in to get my hair colored pink with a shadow root after growing my hair for years after finally mustering up the courage. Left with uneven bleaching and roots so bad I can't even find the words to describe them. I'm thankful my hair didn't fall out but this has been a traumatic experience and I don't intend to ever go back. ~700 bucks wasted and the stylist didn't say a peep to me and let me leave like this with no follow up plan and didn't even acknowledge it. I now have to go find someone to fix my roots. Master cuts could have given me a better experience than this. I didn't deserve this kind of treatment.

Stopped in this cute little salon while in Seattle for the day and lucked out with a last min. Availability! I got an trim and thin (with the owner, Jed) for my thick short cut that constantly needs texturizng and I am SO grateful to have found the skillset. Cute salon, great music, cool area, good vibe and good excellent service.

I went for a consult and was told that my hair was like my baby blanket and I needed to let it go. He also said that my hair might look good on a model, but that was not my lifestyle. Needless to say I ran away from this salon. Edit: I visited this salon on Jan 26th, 2022 for a hair consultation at 12:00pm, for the owners response saying that I never visited the business. Granted, I did not officially received a service since this was just a consult.

I am so grateful that Jedediah is my stylist in Seattle. My hair is fine and it was getting sooo long. I was ready to try something new and a bit wild, and because Jed takes the time to know his clients, I knew I could trust him with my request. The result was a posh and clean and gorgeous long bob, with highlights to die for. And just a hint of that cheeky wild color (peach mixed with lavender) perfectly blended in - really only visible under golden light. It was exactly what I needed. I am thrilled. THANK YOU, JED!

I can't remember the last time I've loved my hair this much. From my first cut and color, Jedidiah has known how to manage my fine, thin but corkscrew curly hair. I love his place - it's full of light and plants, and he carries a fantastic line of organic products that make my curls zing.

I had my haircut by Britney and it was such a lovely experience. She really took the time to discuss what would look best for my hair. I appreciated her making sure that I was happy with the end result. On top of everything, she made sure I left the salon looking like a model intime for my date that evening!

I saw Britney and she really listened to what I wanted for my hair. I have long thick hair that is usually difficult for most stylists to deal with. I visited this salon last night to take part in a Botox pop-up hosted here through Forever Young Aesthetics. I was greeted warmly by the Salon Mérite crew, and the owner Jedidiah even sent me home with some amazing goodies to try!!
