I got hair extensions for the first time with real human hair for cheaper than most places I inquired. And they are fabulous!! This was my first time in this salon. I gotta say Yodalin is an Amazon hair stylist, plus she is such a sweetheart! In summary, I found great quality, great service, and the right price. 100% recommended.

Been a Dominican Salon they do know about her and what they are doing , the ladies are very friendly and professional. Also, they do really wash your hair it is not like other places.

First time my hair came out exactly how I wanted came out to $200 . Second time I only wanted was a wash and blow out . She offered to do a treatment meant to help hydrate my just bleached (2 weeks ago) hair but I didn’t know it was a keratin which is very damaging to bleached hair. My beautiful blonde hair was fried I ended up having to cut my lower back length hair to a bob I paid $230 to get my hair messed up . I won’t be going back. Update: it took 2and a half years to fully grow back .

I asked to cut the ends of my hair and she cut off more than 2 inches on my hair leaving me in a sobbing mess i couldn’t even finish getting my hair done, the cut is choppy and overall just doesn’t even look well done. i specifically asked her not to cut so much and she did anyways and it’s very hard for me to grow my hair and i take pride in its length so this was just a heartbreak to me. please don’t go to this salon.

So I’m not a person that really wears natural hair but I wanted a change so I just googled Dominican salons and came across this amazing location. They accept walk in and open on Sunday so I was very happy. I met Evelyn who provided such great service got a wash set flat iron and trim. Very pleased from start to end. Reasonable price and quick service I literally was out of there with 1 hour. I will definitely be back and definitely will refer anyone interested!!!

I have been coming to this salon for many years now and have never been disappointed! Yodalin does an amazing job! She really cares about her clients and wants you to leave happy with your service. It’s so hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut curly hair and she definitely knows her stuff! I only go to her for my hair cuts and blowouts. I highly recommend Salon My Dominican! ¡Llevo muchos años viniendo a este salón y nunca me ha decepcionado! ¡Yodalin hace un trabajo increíble! Ella realmente se preocupa por sus clientes y quiere que usted salga satisfecho con su servicio. ¡Es muy difícil encontrar una estilista que sepa cómo cortar el cabello rizado y ella definitivamente sabe lo que hace! Sólo voy donde ella para cortarme el pelo y hacerme blowouts. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente Salón Mi Dominicana!

I chose this salon primarily because of this convenient booking options. I wish I didn’t! The lady who did my hair used extreme heat (there was smoke coming out, when I ask she would just shrug her shoulders. I wish if I left mid service!!! Also overcharged me saying she added a conditioner treatment( which is actually included in the service). When I called to ask about the kind of treatment I got, I didn’t receive an answer, and she said she will get back to be about reimbursement but never did. Unfortunately, after I washed my hair, I found out that I lost my curls pattern. Looks like they use relaxers plus high heat which why my hair is falling out. Stay away from this salon especially if you have natural hair.

I went here from ct and was charged $275 for my hair to have the chunkyest shortest layers.I asked for blonde highlights she refused cause she didn’t want to break my hair so she toned to honey blonde and cut my hair terribly I asked for a trim not a cut !!! she chunked out my layers it looks terrible 😞 super short and uneven never again my horrible experience was with yodalin she over charged and cut my hair short and uneven on purpose very spiteful service!!!this salon is not recommended and I would not ever bring service to this salon again very upset and unpleased 😡

If I could give any place a zero star review it has to be this salon from being I told one price and being charged not only more but being over charged for horrible work and service … to the way yodelin says just a trim and botched my hair completely I’ll never recommend or bring my business to the salon ever again. This place is a scam beware.

First of all, I never had any issues with my hair dresser… I have been with them for more than 20 yrs …. I can give you testimony, that . They are extremely professional and sharp with their work.!!!! I find disrespectful that , people are so rude and quick to say that their job is terrible…!!! As for me I’m extremely happy with the owner… and the staff…..

Hair wash? Great by wash lady. Hair cut by Yodelin and barely touched my hair. 2 many reviews about her overcharging. Three cuts of 3 inches (2 mins) and charged $15. Wanted me to sit back down and for what? I've cut hair in the past. Went there as I've been depressed, now I'm going home $25 less and after a shady service, I feel worse😢😢😢. It took me 2 days to build up confidence to leave the house. Not my first time here as Gloria did my hair 6 mos ago, no problem. This problem is affecting your clientele.

The staff are friendly and they even have a coffee station for the customers, I got a haircut, keratin and blow dry.i am very happy and most of all, good prices compared to other places. I highly recommend My Dominican hair salon
