I had the best experience getting my hair colored and cut by Lydia Perez at this salon! She always makes me feel comfortable and gives me exactly what I want and need in my color/cut. The service was amazing with drinks and comfort overall as well!

I was on vacation and after a visit to another hairdresser I was looking for a better one to fix the cut. I spontaneously walked into the store and asked for an appointment and was able to sit down immediately. Jo fixed the haircut in no time and immediately understood what I wanted. Thank you so much!!! I wish I had gone here from the start.

It’s my first time being blonde, and have been blonde for a year from another salon. My hair was constantly breaking and super yellow and I felt awful all the time. I was recommended Salono65 by a friend and it changed my life. Kristin is a miracle worker and does amazing work. I was able to achieve the cool blonde I’ve been waiting for and my extensions blended so incredible nicely. I’ve been receiving compliments literally nonstop. I finally feel beautiful and can’t thank you enough!

Felix literally saved my hair this morning from a truly terrible choppy, chunky highlight job at Supercuts last night. All the Salon O Sixty Five staff were incredibly gracious and kind and knowledgable. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, and they were taking excellent precautions during the pandemic. 12/10 will come back! (Thank you again, Felix)

I was referred to Kristin Wallace after I had just completed chemo at the age of 34. I finally had grown a couple inches of hair and wanted extensions. In one afternoon, Kristin gave me a full head of hair, even more beautiful than I had before getting cancer. She really helped heal my broken spirit. Now, 8 years later, I no longer need extensions. She does amazing color that doesn’t damage my hair. She cuts it in such a way that I almost never need products. She’s just amazing. I wish I had met her sooner.

The salon itself is quite underwhelming. The ambiance is cold and extremely plain... no wow factor at all... which is strange since I understand they have quite the clientele. I went there to have Joe Stephens cut my hair and he did a fantastic job. However, he no longer works here

Purchased a groupon for a cut and called to add a toner to the appointment, which was confirmed in email confirmation. On their services list it says $20+. Sat down in Georgia's chair and explained I wanted a cut and a toner. Simple enough right? A toner is not like dying your hair. A toner is like a mask that tones down brassiness, "toning" the already colored hair. When I've had it done at other salons it's rarely more than 30 bucks because it's like putting on a hair mask. But when I got done, they charged me for a single process color, $70. As if she dyed my hair. When I asked they said that was the charge for today and they would "speak to the owner." BAIT AND SWITCH. That's what I call it. If they were going to upcharge $50 and she was doing a different process on my hair, she should have told me. Bottom line, I asked for one thing and got another and she didn't tell me it was going to be $50 more when she had every opportunity. Not how you treat new clients. Disappointing at best for their communication, handling and response to a new customer.

When you walk out of Salon 0 65 everyone will be starring ; men , women, children, and even their pets. The reason is simple, Salon 065 not only makes your look a million bucks but they also make you feel that way. The Joe & Jaimy team is no where else to be found in Chicago!

Ok, so I never blog... OMG, now I have to. I googled a salon near my location because I wanted someone to make my "look" happen. I'm in love with Randy at Salon O. I've never had so many compliments on my hair, my look...EVER. He's my go to guy from now on when I'm in the city. Thank you Randy for making me feel special, and beautiful.

Kristin is the owner of the shop and one of the most patient and effective stylists I have ever met. She did my Deva Cut and meticulously defined and conditioned EVERY curl of my 4B-4C hair. I saw curls that never seemed to exist on my scalp before and she gave great insight on hair to take care of my hair at home. After following her advice for three weeks, my hair is healthier, softer, and easier to handle. I'm so thankful to have a stylist that truly loves what she does and I can't wait to show her how happy my hair is.
