I recently went to Salon Oakley needing them to fix my poorly-done haircut from another salon. Amy is the sweetest person ever! She did an amazing job and gave me exactly what I asked for. I am so so much happier with how my hair looks now. Highly recommend!!

I’m shocked anyone would give this salon anything less than 5 stars. I have been going to Jen for years. She is an incredible stylist and the pricing is fair. I moved to Chicago for several years and was paying almost $150 more for the same services there. Love Salon Oakley!

I scheduled an apt earlier this week and selected "any" hairdresser and got lucky enough to have Amy cut my hair! She was so kind and listened to all of my concerns and helped me decide the best cut for me. She created a very welcoming environment, did an overall great job, and I'm very happy to have gotten to talk to her today. Salon Oakley is lucky to have her, thanks Amy!

McKenna did a fantastic job with my blonde and I am so excited to continue going to her from now on. Salon Oakley is 45 minutes from my house but absolutely worth the drive to be with a stylist that listens to what I want and is so incredibly talented. Cannot recommend McKenna enough!

I went in for some high lights of a red auburn color with some darker brown. I scheduled my appointment incorrectly and told them I would come back after the new year. They accommodated me, which I appreciated. They did not tell me that since they had to change my appointment they were going to charge me $40. I came out with my hair more blond than I went in. I went in to get my hair done for the winter. It was apparently on file but the stylist that did my hair was new and does not know about color theory. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted. My roots are also showing. I paid over $190 including a $25 tip and the $40 they tacked on for “kindly” fitting me in. If I would have known they were going to charge me I would have just left. The salon owner did not tell me to come back in and let her fix it when I called and told her I didn’t like it. She said that I should have said something before I got out of the chair. The lighting outside is different and I said I didn’t see it until I was in my car on my way home. This stylist messed up my hair royalty. Now I have to go to a new salon and spend more money to get what I want. Up until today I had nothing bad to say about this salon. I would not recommend this place because of how I was treated today. The first picture is what I ended up with and the second is what I wanted.

I've been going here for years. I mainly see Denise, who has done wonders for my hair, but I have also seen a couple other stylists, and I have never been disappointed. Would recommend Salon Oakley to anyone looking for a great hairstyle

Roseann was amazing! She was knowledgeable about curly hair and provided helpful tips for me to maintain my hairstyle. Everyone was kind and the salon had a great atmosphere. I was nervous to get my haircut at a new place after just moving to Ohio, but I have happily found my new salon.

Was not what I asked her for something easy to do bcz of bad arm don't think she listened. Lighting was terrible didn't care for set up or seating area thought considering area and prices it would be better they also said if I was unhappy they would fix it haven't heard anything back! Just saying I made them very aware of my situation by phone and in person didn't help.

Here's why I would not recommend Salon Oakley, and I urge others to look elsewhere before allowing this salon to touch your hair. I came to salon Oakley right before Spring hit looking to have a full hilight, and a lowlight as well as a toning followed by a cut. The goal of this apt was to lighten my hair overall, throw in some contrast/ dimension, and tone it all to a muted ashy color. When I arrived to my apt, the stylist i booked with online (based on my availability) started contradicting everything I would say I wanted with what she was going to do. This is when I should have left. But i just trusted the process as I am not a stylist, and was truly just hoping the means justified the ends. For instance, I said i wanted a full hilivht, she said "I'm just going to foil this and this." I said wanted thicker, sparce low-lights and she explained how a previous client yelled at her for doing this, so she again chose not to. I asked for blended layers with blunt ends for my shoulder length bob and she opted not to cut the dead ends around my face because she "liked the way they laid." So when I left, i still had the same roots I came in with. The lowlights are thin and throughout my entire head- giving warmth instead of contrast to the overall lightness i requested. The toner sat on my hair just long enough for her to grab the facet so there was a warm brassy tone to my highlights. The layers in the back of my head are chunky straight cuts. They said I could return a week later, and the same stylist began telling me again, why she wouldnt attempt to do these things again. For the first time in my almost 30 years on this planet, a stylist finally told me that my dirty blonde hair doesnt like to lift. Astonishing. When i told her I would like my money back, she ignored my request and proceeded to attempt a compromise. She said she couldn't lighten my hair to the shade I wanted, but would touch up the roots surrounding my face with foils. 9 babylights later and it's so strange the lightness we were able to achieve in this region. The opposition to lighten my hair earlier in the apt was due to a concern over not being able to lift and potential for breakage, but this was okay to only do to the front portion of my hair? Im confushed why in neither apt I was able to receive a full hilight and why all of my requests were denied. And also- why this was not communicated from the beginning to start with. Instead, I have completely blown two Saturday afternoons and a chunk of cash only to end up with someone elses idea of what my hair should look like.

I went to see Jen for the first time today and was blown away by how much I loved my haircut. She is very talented and professional. She knew exactly what I wanted from my description and picture and executed it beautifully. She is also just a really awesome person so it was a pleasure to chat with her during the process. I can’t recommend her enough.

Very happy with color/foil. I do wish customers would be required to wear masks. Receptionist kindly fed Meter toward end of appointment. First time appointment following move to this state, stylist was thorough with trying to understand what I was looking for. Have made follow up appointment.thanks

First time at this salon. They were recommended by a friend. I’m new to the area and hadn’t found a colorist yet. Emily and her team did a fantastic job! I am obsessive and protective of my stylist here (what's up, Jen??) I'm sure the skill varies a bit by stylist, but I doubt they employ anyone substandard. The whole experience of the salon is comfortable and professional. It's a little pricey, I guess. But recently someone walking behind me literally stopped me to say "damn, girl. You have some goregous multitonal hair." And really, can you put a price on that? Including a pic and-spoiler- I'm not a natural blonde.

Denise is AMAAAAAAAAAZING! I've gone to Salon Oakley for about 6 years now, and every cut and color has come out looking great. I've had Denise cut my hair nearly exclusively those 6 years (two times I was just terrible at scheduling and had to get in with someone else). But even when I've had to have another stylist, I've come out looking fresh! They do a great job of offering beverages and a quiet space while you're there. All their staff are incredibly friendly, and I appreciate all they do for me. I'd recommend Salon Oakley to anyone!
