This salon is a must-visit! It is super clean, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. I always have my hair cut by Allie; she is incredibly sweet and talented. She listens carefully and takes her time to ensure that I get the best haircut always!

I got a haircut and blow dry by Shell for the first time and she was absolutely amazing! She was a great listener and kept every concern/preference I had in mind, all while working with me to find the right balance and end result that fit me most. She was so sweet and made me feel good throughout the whole appointment. The hair wash was amazing and super relaxing. I’m definitely going to get my haircut again by her. I can tell she loves what she does, has great attention to detail, and will go so far in this industry! Thank you Shell!

Juaquin has been my stylist for over 7 years and ,when I found out he had moved to this location, I gladly followed. He's an amazing stylist and I cannot recommend him enough.

This is such a bright, comfortable, and laid back salon! Conveniently located a few blocks from the Tasker-Morris subway stop, it is really easy for me to get to an appointment here traveling either from work or from home. Juaquin has been my stylist for almost eight years, and I'm so happy to see him land at such a nice spot. He always gives a great cut that compliments my natural texture and is really helpful with recommending products that have a good value. Overall, Oko South and Juaquin offer a relaxed and casual experience in a calming environment. Thanks, y'all!

I picked this salon based on reviews and requested Allie. She did an amazing job on my over bleached hair. She made a plan on getting my hair healthy and looking good again. The color and cut she did was perfect. She's very professional and knowledge, so glad I found such a great salon!

Juaquin is awesome!!! I have been going to him for 10+ years. He is quiet and a genius when it comes to a stylish, hip and fun cut. He routinely finds ways to freshen up the look and the vibe and I trust him 100%. I am regularly complimented after getting a new haircut. The salon is hip, clean and relatively quiet which is a nice change from a noisy salon. Thank you Juaquin and Salon OKO!!!! Your product merchandising is gorgeous!!!

Catherine is the best!! I absolutely love my highlights, the tone is perfect and she understood exactly what I wanted. the most blended my dark hair has ever been! My hair feels so healthy and my curls really came back to life after my cut. my color still looks amazing after several washes and 2 weeks later! Pavlo and the entire Salon Oko South staff is fantastic! The salon is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail is apparent as soon as you walk through the doors. I had a full balayage done with Pavlo and I couldn't be happier with the results! If you're in the East Passyunk area I highly reccomend them!

Sherry is amazing - she really cares about maintaining the integrity of my hair while still delivering unbelievable results! I got my blonde refreshed for the summer and I am so happy. She even matched the color perfectly to my clip in extensions. My hair has never felt this soft after a lightening service. She's also super fun to talk to and kind!! Wonderful five star experience at Salon Oko :)

Sherry was absolutely a expert at color , cutting and explaining everything she took her time and I am so happy with my hair after going to her she is all about making it look good and her biggest thing is healthy hair and I left there with healthier looking hair it's absolutely gorgeous...... !! I would definitely recommend her and this salon I don't think I will ever go else where...

Amazing Salon! I have been going to the Salon at Callowhill for many years and now i go to this new location. SUPERB SERVICE! GORGEOUS NEW LOCATION with ample on street parking. Pawel is the BEST! I get supermodel hair each time i visit any of these two Salon Oko locations.

I came to this charming, sunny salon to see my long-time stylist in his new spot, and I love it! I’ve been following Juaquin around Philly for 15 years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s a true craftsman with an artistic sensibility, and a lovely person to boot. Seriously, come get on his schedule before it fills up. You’ll walk out with the best cut and color you’ve ever had.

Salon Oko is the best. I have consistently gone to see Allie and let me tell you, she’s an incredible hair artist/stylist AND an incredible person. I am picky with hair but she’s so good that I can go there and trust her fully to do a stellar job no matter what. She’s so knowledgeable about color and hairstyles that complement your look so you’ll walk out feeling beautiful. Allie is such a gem - you will not regret booking with her at this salon!!

I highly recommend Salon Oko South. The staff is professional, clean, friendly, and respectful of clients’ time and wishes. The space is beautiful. The owner Pawel is a true artist and a great guy. It is clear from watching him work that he holds his profession in high regard and that he considers it a privilege every time a client walks into his salon and trusts themselves with him or one of his clients.

I highly recommend this salon!! I started at the Callowhill location a little over a year ago - my first experience with balayage - and was so happy with the results that I won’t go anywhere else. Pawel is amazing! I was so excited for this location to open as it is closer to where I am currently living. Great experience as always!! ❤️

Juaquin at OKO Salon is hands-down the best barber and stylist in Philadelphia. My wife and I have been going to him for 10 years for precision cuts and fades, lived-in styles, and hair coloring, and his work is always perfect. He's the only stylist I recommend to all my friends. The OKO Salon is a great new addition to South Philly and they're lucky to have Juaquin on the team!

I decided to check out this new spot today for a mens' hair cut and I was not disappointed. The owner Pawel was very professional and extremely friendly. Salon was clean, open, and inviting not to mention the cut was spot on. I will be returning and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality Salon in the South Philly area.
