I went there for the first time for a cut and color. Bella was fantastic taking time to discuss color and what would look best on me. She is very meticulous which I personally love. It's a cozy place with talented stylists who instantly make you feel like you've always been there.

Erin is AMAZING! I booked my appointment with Erin based on a recommendation from my sister and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I wanted to embrace my natural color and Erin did a masterful job getting rid of very warm colors and blending my cool (and mostly grey) color. Now I feel confident wearing my hair down again. She is a true artist!

Ok, I had my second appointment with Erin at Salon on Grand today. I wanted to go a couple of times before I did a review. I thought my first appointment was great, but today I was blown away. I wanted to make a change and Erin really listed to what I wanted and asked lots of questions. The outcome exceeded my expectations! Yes, the salon is beautiful. It’s very bright and cheerful but the people inside this salon are truly what make it stand out from the others. A warm and inviting atmosphere with lots of laughs and great conversation. They use amazing products to keep your hair healthy while giving you the hair of your dreams. I truly can’t say enough good things!!!

I was in the area & needed a bang trim. I was lucky enough to get in within the hour - Lexi didn’t just give me the bangs I wanted, she accommodated my natural part and some uneven layers from years of me trimming my own. I love them - perfect length, perfect weight, perfect amount of wispy. The many compliments I got belong to you, Lexi! I’ll definitely “be in the area” for any journeys I take my hair next!

Comfy, cool vibes! The owner and stylist were immediately friendly, welcoming and kind. I didn't feel like I was being solicited for services or products I didn't want or need. Lexi listened to what I asked for, gave me some great info and I am actually looking forward to going back. I typically leave salons feeling like I don't belong in a space where everyone is so pretty but I did not feel that way today. Thank you for the great cut, advice and fizzy water on a hot day! See you in September!

I have been coming here for over a year now and I can definitely recommend here especially with Lexi! She always makes me happy and feel super cute at the end of the sessions. The salon vibe is comfy + every time you go there you find something new cute thing. 🐾 I really appreciate their work and makes me comfortable every time I go there. ☺️ This is my favorite place!

I just moved to the kc area from stl where I have had the same hair dresser since I was thirteen (one of my longest relationships ever lol). I was very nervous to find a new person in this area so when a Freind recommended Erin I was not sure what to expect. The whole experience was a 15/10 - as soon as I walked in I felt welcome and comfortable. Erin was so talented and knowledgeable I immediately was ready to book my next appointment.

I went there last night to get a haircut. I was able to book an appointment before hand and only had to wait a couple hours before they had an opening for me. The shop is professional and looks amazing. The art on the walls and decor give you plenty to look at. My stylist, Lexi, was absolutely perfect! She was so nice and asked me lots of questions to make sure i was getting what i wanted. Within an hour ahe had my hair washed, cut, dried ans styled. It looked amazing and i also talked to her about possibly doing some color in the future. There was another customer there getting highlights and hers looked stunning! And their prices are very reasonable. Plus its in a good location downtown, near the power and light district. I will 100% be going to only Lexi from now on. I would highly recommend this salon. They make you feel super comfortable and do a fantastic job! Thanks guys!

Lexi was amazing! 😍 She took the time to listen to what I wanted and explained to me in detail what my best options are. I have dark brown hair with old balayage and I’ve always struggled to find a hairstylist that’s good with brunettes. She did a color correction and everything was blended beautifully. She took care of every little detail; color, haircut, bangs, blow out, curls and she also massaged my hands while I was waiting for the color to process. The place itself is an art collection. Super colorful and fun. Absolutely recommend. Thank you so much !🤩

Okay I have to come here and express how much I adored this place. I haven’t got my hair done in 3 years because I struggle to find a salon I like but at the same time I also get anxious about trying someone new. But I finally took the gamble and found this place, and since the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with nothing but warm and welcoming vibes! I could tell I was in good hands so my salon anxiety immediately went away! I showed Erin(the owner) and Lexi (my stylist) the picture of what I wanted and they immediately said they could help me achieve this look. Lexi did not disappoint! Turned out exactly how I wanted and in a very timely manner! The salon itself is such a vibe and has a lot of heart and soul in it! & they use all Kevin Murphy products so that alone should be enough to get you into this salon! I’m pleased to say I have officially found my new salon🫶🏼 & they also offer complimentary hand and arm massages , like you really can’t beat that!

I absolutely LOVE!!!! Salon On Grand. I went in a month ago to get my hair lifted after a somewhat botched at home job by myself and these women are so welcoming and wonderful to be around. Lexi did a fantastic job on my hair and offered a lot of guidance when it came to at home hair care! (I'm notorious for heating my hair on the hottest temp I can find). Since following her advice, I feel like my ends will actually get to last hahah. Excited to go back in for a full coverage lift! Love the salon's energy and decor. Always look forward to coming in!

Just wanted to thank Erin for such a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the whole process and had such a great time. She was very through and attentive. I decided to do a big chop. She went slow at first and made sure I was comfortable. I felt like my voice was heard. Highly recommend her. I'm definitely coming back again. Erin has such great energy.
