I did a Kerasilk treatment with Gina, and love my results. This is my 5th kerasilk treatment. My hair is thick, frizzy, and very porous - but Gina knows how to manage it. Highly recommend!

I've had the Kerasilk treatment done by Gina multiple times. The first time, I had my natural hair color, but the second time, I had processed my hair. Gina informed me that the treatment might make my hair brassy since Kerasilk can strip some of the color, but she assured me I could dye it again in two weeks. Despite the warning, I went ahead with it. As expected, my hair did turn brassy, but I wasn't upset because Gina had been upfront about the possibility. I truly appreciate Gina's honesty every time she works on my hair. She genuinely cares about her clients' hair and would never pressure anyone to cancel an appointment. Instead, she consults with you, explains the potential outcomes, and ensures there are no surprises.

I needed a cut and color and as a new customer was asked for details via email to determine which services. Then the morning of my appointment my provider got sick and wanted to reschedule but my time was tight. She was actually able to find a same-day replacement for me and my cut and color were great!

Chie is amazing! She is a color repair master. I've been going there now for about a decade and won't trust my hair with anyone else. She also gives incredible hair cuts and really the best blowouts in NYC-seriously!!! I have half curly, unruly hair and I always walk out looking amazing. My hair has never been so happy.

I came into the salon looking for a professional but relaxed haircut for my return to work after maternity leave. I showed Shinobu a few photos for inspiration and she did an amazing job of translating it to my hair type and face shape. She is easygoing, friendly, and very professional. I have big crazy indian curls and i got a decent hair cut and average color job. But where i severely disappointed was the final styling which completely ruined the effect of the cut and color. In spite of spending over $400 i came out of the salon with hair that I need to style myself. If you have big ethnic hair, don’t do it.

I've been coming to Salon Orchard for 2 years since stumbling onto it. I couldn't find a salon in New York that had stylists who really listened to me until I came here! I've gone back again and again and trust every one of their stylists to give me exactly what I'm looking for. Jax gave my highlights new life with a partial balayage! She was so great at blending my lived-in highlights into a beautiful set of Fall colors that I'm confident will grow out beautifully. She even went the extra mile and lightened up my overall color to further blend them, since she knew I was worried about things looking striped. I couldn't be happier with my hair for the change of the season. Last photo is the "before"!

I’ve been coming to Jax for keratin and haircuts for more than 5 years, and she is the best. My hair naturally wants to poof into a very unflattering triangle, but Jax always makes it look elegant with little maintenance required. And the vibe of the salon is a great mix of relaxed and professional. Love this place!

Shinobu has cut my hair twice now and both times I have been amazed at her level of detail and skill! She has a special eye, there is something magical about watching her transform my mop of hair into a style that makes me feel like the cutest human alive. The salon was so clean and organized. The salon owner asked me a lot of questions to understand what I was seeking. I was visiting from Detroit, MI for a wedding. She gave me an incredible wash, blowout, and updo. I felt fabulous and touched up the curls for a few days to keep the cute updo style going.
