I am beyond furious with what the stylist did to my hair. I specifically requested two different blonde tones—Golden Blonde and Light Golden Blonde—for highlights and lowlights, with no “stripes,” and a natural-looking result. Instead, after three hours, my hair was left an ashy mess with noticeable blonde/ashy stripes. When I went back the next day to have her fix her mistake, I spent another two hours in the chair, only for her to turn my hair orange. She claimed it was the “lowlights” causing the orange and assured me she would fix it again. Her solution? Adding more blonde highlights only to the top of my hair, leaving the bottom sections ashy, streaky, and still with some orange stripes. My hair is now severely damaged, with broken pieces and looks absolutely awful. I cannot believe she has ruined it like this. This was an expensive, time-consuming disaster. I am devastated.

I have been having my hair styled at Salon Piper Glen for 20 years. Jessica is the Best! To be honest I have had my hair done at Vidal Sassoon and Bergdorf in NYC and no salon is better than Salon Piper Glen. From the moment you walk through the door to the stylist taking wonderful care of you and your hair. The stylist are professionally trained at Redken in NYC. They are up to date on styles and know the correct products for your hair. Don’t walk run to Salon Piper Glen. You will be thrilled.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at this salon. After a lengthy consultation, being told my color could be corrected, and spending 5 hours in the salon after being told our first visit would be 3 because we would be taking the process slow. The stylist tried to speed up the correction process and ended up having to correct the bleaching that occurred on my roots and my ends being orange. I was rushed, hair color was being slopped all over the place when she was trying to correct the mistake, my hair wasn’t styled, trimmed and it was FRIED when I left and I was charged the extra hours spent for the correction. It was a total of $800 and I left with my hair looking LIKE GARBAGE. The manager tried to tell me it was a miscommunication and essentially my fault because I should have asked at the consultation the price even though the entire plan changed during the appointment which changed the pricing. She also said that I was to be charged for all the product used because I have thick hair which isn’t my fault and I was also not told that in the consultation when the stylist literally touched, felt and looked at my hair. I left in tears with fried orange hair and no resolution. WORST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Caity is the best!!! I just had her color my hair for basically the first time ever. I was soooo nervous but she was so re-assuring and started off small and made sure the color matched my skin tone and eyes. I’m getting so many compliments on my hair. Caity is simply the best! She listens and will make sure that your end result is what you want. Highly recommend. 🩵

Great salon ! I have been coming here for 2 years now & I’m very pleased. Jessica is a talented hardworking stylist & very personable. She is also patient with me & my sudden whims. The front desk girls are attentive as soon as you walk in making you feel welcomed. They are also knowledgeable & helpful with scheduling.

Salon Piper Glen is hands down the best salon for blondes. My stylist Jessica is so knowledgeable and has given me the perfect shade of blonde for my skin tone (plus a great haircut!). I am so grateful to have found her. Everyone from my stylist to the front desk to the owners are exceptional, professional and courteous. Do yourself a favor and try them out….you will not be disappointed.

Caity does my blonde and in all my 28 years of life my hair has never looked better. I have very very dark natural hair and we keep it at a silver/icy blonde. My hair is infinitely more healthy because of seeing her over the past year. If she ever moves or stops doing hair I would honestly just shave my head 😂

DO NOT GO HERE!! Trust the bad reviews!! My mom went here for a perm and a cut and omg!! They fried her hair completely burnt off!! (Not the normal damage hair with highlights) I MEAN BURNT OFF!! Her hair felt like it was in a fire!! & it didn’t even curl!! There was no curls! Then the hair dresser said she couldn’t even cut it the way she wanted for how burnt it was. She didn’t even offer a hair mask treatment nothing!! My mom literally has burnts on her scalp! My mom is so sweet and gets nervous and paid $200 then $50 tip She came home crying!! Her burns were so bad!! I called and made them give us a refund. Owner was combative and debating then finally refunded.. JUST DONT DO IT!!!

I went to this salon for the first time today for a partial highlights. When I initially made my appointment, I asked what the price would be. I was told between $89-$109, depending on the stylist. Being told that, that is what I expected to pay. My stylist Avery was fine, but I walked out with my hair looking like nothing special. I had showed her two pictures of the color I was looking for. The highlights came out extremely blonder than the photos. She then had me sit for 30 more minutes with toner in my hair to darken the color. It ended up looking nothing like the photos, but at that point, I was ready to go home and there was nothing more to do. I went to check out, and my bill was $140. When I asked why so expensive, and told the girl at the desk what I had been told over the phone as far as pricing, she told me that the stylist had to use more product and I was charged for that additional product. I never asked for any additional product, I only asked for the color that was in the photo. If that color wasn't achievable, I should have been told at the start of my appointment. The girl at the desk did nothing to try and resolve my dissatisfaction with the price, and gave no additional explanation. In the end, my hair doesn't really look any different from when I walked in, and I paid about $40-$50 more than I had anticipated, not including tip. I will certainly not be back.

Just book it! Absolutely LOVE this salon. Everyone is so nice and helpful! Caity is a beast with color. I'm very cautious with who I let dye my hair and she made me feel very comfortable and exceeded my expectations.

Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I got k tip extensions after asking a plethora of question to decipher what was best for me. I also made my stylist aware of my sensitive scalp and hair loss I experienced from an autoimmune disease. After getting them and having them for 5 weeks I could no longer take it. They were causing extreme discomfort. I wasn’t made aware the extension removal was the same rate of $140 as it was to put them in so I spent $300 just to remove them, $450 on install and $380 on hair. The manager didn’t care about my scalp issues and the urgency to remove them or make a more a more fair rate for removal. So I said fine whatever I came in to remove them and left with sopping wet hair since she has a blowout client next. When my service was almost $300 and I left with glue pieces still in my hair. I find this to be unprofessional and rude to let a client leave with wet hair and glue that wasn’t taken out. I was told I could wait 30 minutes or go home. The stylist was kind but I would never come back here.
