Terry was great! I had been struggling to find someone that could help educate me on how to style curls. My hair has changed from stick straight to curly as I have gotten older. I will definitely be going back!

Bryan was extremely detail oriented and communicated well about what type of haircut was wanted and how to maintain and grow it. It is apparent that he is very knowledgeable about hair, especially curly hair, and gives good advice on how to grow it and keep it healthy. He is welcoming to taking feedback and adjusting his cuts based on client feedback to make sure that the resultant hair cut looks the way the client was intending. He is also very patient with his time and will go out of his way to teach ways to maintain or style the hair.

I am ecstatic about how lovely my curls look after Terry cut my hair. I had been struggling with my curls since I tried to give myself a trim. Terry fixed it and more and he worked so effortlessly. I went in describing the type of layered style I was looking for and when I say he understood the assignment. He’s just that good. It was such a pleasure to see him work his magic and I’m so excited now to play with my new hairstyle. 😁

first actual haircut since 2014! and i couldn’t be happier. brian was super insightful and beyond helpful with tips on how to help my curls and he was super comforting and lifted any stress and worries i had. it’s comforting to know there’s a salon that’s reasonably priced with such great customer service. would easily recommend this place

Terry was delightful, he would ask for feedback during the process and let me know if I needed any adjustments to reach out and he'll be happy to change anything. I have unruly and curly hair, he was super patient with me. My partner got a haircut from Brian, he had a specific style in mind and he did a great job! They are very charming and attentive. I really recommend y'all try it out ❤️

Brian and Terry are the coolest, nicest hairstylists ever! Brian did a cut and color for me and he absolutely rocked it! Took me from a grown out, dull balayage to a rich, warm brunette for fall, and gave me the curtain bangs of my dreams. I cannot recommend them enough, 10/10!!!

I love Salon Purple! This salon has a really cool vibe. Terry & Brian are super nice and knowledgeable. I first came into the salon with hair that needed a lot of help. Brian used his remarkable talents to gave my hair love and bring it back to life. Brian was extremely patient and detail-oriented. I love the way he lightened my hair, toned the color, applied a healing treatment, gave me a haircut and blow dry! Now my hair looks and feels fabulous and healthy.

Terry is a fantastic hairstylist! I have very thick curly hair and I don’t trust anyone with it. He cuts my hair with care rather than rushing through it. I would definitely recommend!

I have been living around this area for so many years and never had I realized of how much I was missing out! Terry is most definitely an incredible stylist who gets to know his clients since the first moment you step foot. He took his time and did a great job. I have never had a hair cut that made my curls look so good. Terry knew what was the best cut to make my curls do their thing. And his products made my dry hair feel so good. 10/10 recommend

I recently moved to Fort Worth and it has been so hard to find someone to cut my hair and actually like it, but Terry did an amazing job! He was so welcoming and made sure I got everything I asked for. He even makes his own hair cream and hair gel that smell amazing! Definitely recommend!

Terry and Brian are phenomenal at what they do! I went in desperately needing a shaping, styling, consult, and curly cut. I got it all plus some at a phenomenally cheap price compared to all other places. I was shocked to receive the full treatment. I have fine, thin, hormonal damaged, and frizzy hair. I have never found a person who could manage and layer my hair well. Terry did just that! Terry listened to what pain points I was having with my hair and guided me with his expertise. Really taking the time to listen to what I was looking for. He absolutely nailed it! Also, I’ve used manyyyyy products before, but thoroughly loved his formulated product line! No residue, not heavy, nor did it weigh down my hair. 10 stars experience and at a great price! ⭐️

This is the only place I'll get my haircut. As someone with curly hair it's really nice not to have to rush home to "fix" a haircut and restyle it. Terry is honestly great. :) He absolutely knows his stuff and is just enjoyable to be around. Highly recommend!

Went to Terry’s Salon Purple today and it was an experience I had to share!! 2 STYLISTS, Terry and Brian, NOT barbers!! They’re personable and easy to talk to, which is great, but they’ve got skills, which comes from experience and it shows and isn’t that what we really want? They asked me what I wanted to do and Brian gave me some feedback and proceeded to cut my hair in a way that gave it a style and body I’ve never had. Couldn’t be happier. If you care about the way your hair looks, you should make an appointment and give them a chance to mold your hair into something people will notice and you can be proud of.

I love this place! I had given up on letting anyone cut and color my hair after negative experiences at other salons, but after I saw how well my mom's hair had turned out and seeing how knowledgeable Terry is about curly hair, I decided to schedule an appointment. I'm so happy I did because my hair has not looked or felt this good in years! Terry did an amazing job and my hair feels so much better now. He even developed his own hair care product line, Loida Beauty, and everything works and smells great! I especially love the curl defining cream and curl defining gel. I've always had a difficult time finding products that make my hair feel healthy and soft without weighing it down, so I'm really excited that these products work so well! Absolutely coming back!!!

My first visit with Terry today. He is very knowledgeable and considers his clients face shape, hair type, and listens to what the client is seeking with their hair. His priority is making sure his clients leave with what they want and feel exquisite about it. On August 24, I requested another visit at the last minute for hair color/low lights for my grays and Terry didn’t hesitate and squeezed me in. He did a fabulous job with my start of transitioning to my grays. He helps you understand the process and provides comfort for the waiting period for this transition. He really takes his time with you as a client and masters in what you want done with your hair.

I have been going to Salon Purple for the last few years and have seen Terry and once saw one of his associates. Each experience there has been wonderful. Terry is great at cutting curly hair and finding a stylist that can cut my black 3c hair is hard to come by. He is great at what he does and always does an amazing job on my hair. He is also developing a hair product line and I tried out some of his products, they are very good! All in all, a great cut by a great guy who cares deeply about his community and a deep passion for what he does.

I have been seeing terry for about 9 years now . He always listens to me as tell him what I want. His salon is a place positivity with a great vibe and cool local art! My last visit was as incredible as my first visit. He ability to get my very blonde to just the right shade with damage is perfect. I love Terry! So I came in looking just terrible with 4 in of natural silver and a super terrible color job from a previous hairdresser I had tried months prior. When I got to the shop I was nervous, because I have very important pictures I have to be in on this Monday. When I walked in he was super friendly and after discussing with him what I wanted and what could be done we came up with a plan and I wasn't nervous at all! Terry is SO knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a way I could understand! I LOVE MY HAIR NOW SO VERY MUCH! It has been YEARS since I could say that! I brought my 24 yr old daughter with all her curly hair and he checked her curl patterns and talked with her so now she definitely wants to go back and get her hair done by Terry! That is HUGE since she's so very cautious about who touches her hair. He washed, conditioned her hair with what will be an amazing line of products he will be coming out with and it was AMAZING! We both left feeling beautiful and amazing!

This place used to be great but they completely messed up my boyfriends hair he had pretty long hair asked for a wolf cut ended up like Willy Wonka which made him just cut it all down years of work gone in 2 seconds with a man and clippers

I usually can’t find people who can cut curly hair but terry is amazing! the place is extremely friendly and nice atmosphere and terry was very knowledgeable and educational about my hair. a 10/10 experience :)
